Oh My! I finally found a UPS store with the self-service Kiosk locally! It is so convenient to just be able to scan my return QR code, print my own labels directly from the machine, drop off and go! I dealt with Lin, who was extremely professional in every facet of the shipping process. What a huge disappointment and inconvenience. I ordered a product from Amazon, and it was shipped via UPS, which I was not given any choice in. My package arrived at my local UPS store. I called ahead to let them know my husband would pick it up (it was very heavy and large) and they said no! I didn't legally change my name when I married, which is my right, but we have the same address on our drivers licenses. I called the UPS customer service, and they wouldn't help me either. Since my husband was not permitted to pick up the package, it was going to be too late for us to use the product. It was a rolling cart which I need this weekend to transport heavy boxes. I then asked if I could email them a return shipping label so they could place it on the box and ship it back. They said no, because I had to come in and pay $1.25 for them to print the piece of paper! Seriously? After all of the trouble, they couldn't print me a piece of paper to send the package back? (by the way, I have to pay a re-stocking fee on this item which is a third of the price I paid for it). UPS is a joke, and has a terrible policy. I will never use this company ever again, and will advise everyone I know to do the same. Imagine expecting me to legally change my name to pass their policy!! Are we living in the 1950s? read more

I went in on Monday, February second to drop off five big boxes that were being shipped back to Amazon. I walked in and talked to a lady with black curly hair with a bad attitude and to top it off with very bad breath. Their rep was incredibly helpful and offered to pack my package, and made sure all shipping information was correct prior to sending it out. I've gone to the store a number of times and the people have been very nice and things we're great and everyone seem to be very helpful. But lately i've noticed a few changes since the remodel. It seems customers are starting to get nickel and dime for a little things. For example, i don't have a printer and reading the. Reviews on YouTube. It seems like a lot of them have subscriptions. Just to print anything. For example HP printers it seemed to only use their ink and you have to have a subscription were the printer doesn't work. Anyway, I have no need for a printer.Because I don't print that many things. So getting back to the UPS Store, amazon had sent me the wrong package and I needed to return it to get the correct one. So they sent me a prepaid label via email which I presented to the person at the UPS store. They told me it would be a $1.25 to print a ph out. Normally that wit and bug me.But for some reason, it just kind of hit a nerve with me. I could have gone to whole foods and returned the package for free, i use Fedex a ton and they never charge me for anything except for the package that I send. And they print out all labels for free. They're more interested in giving great service and getting customers to come back to their store. So I guess what i'm saying to the UPS storin monrovia is, when you start nickel and diming your customers, they're not gonna come back to you.They're just gonna find another way to send things. Came here around 12PM on a Tuesday afternoon to drop of a package and get a form notarized. Parking: There UPS is located in Old Town Monrovia so just be prepared to find street parking. There are a couple of public parking lots within walking distance as well. Service: There was no line when I arrived, so I was quickly helped with my package drop off and given a receipt. As for the notarization, the notary was very patient as I filled out the form and quickly gave the stamp of approval. Notary services are available for walk in customers which is super convenient and it costs $15. Although this is not my typical UPS location, I'd recommend it, especially if you're looking for notary service! read more

Really happy with the service here. Went to FedEx first and they refused to email a shipping label for me to a merchant I purchased a car part for. Came here and the manager spring into action and took care of me. Long story, but this UPS location saved the day. My son moved to Canada, so we shipped his personal effects via FedEx.. the one on Huntington drive in Monrovia. Huge mistake .. don't go there. Boxes were returned twice and never left the US. I decided to try UPS. The team was so helpful even though I wasn't going to ship with them in the beginning, only have them box a fragile item. They gave me all the options and were so nice. Took almost an hour to fill out the paperwork for 3 boxes.. never made me feel like i was taking all their time up... will only be shipping to Canada with them from now on if those boxes make it all the way.. as of now they are all in Canada... already better than FedEx... read more

Apparently this store takes fake photo copies of ID's even when the person isn't even the same Gender and hands them your packages. The worker says "our policy allows for photo copy ID's" The asshole who picked up my package was male, I am female. I was told a manager would call me. I have heard nothing. I contacted UPS and the chat person said "what do you want me to do?" Um how about you report the package stolen and get me a replacement? Lucky Apple did the right thing since clearly UPS lacks customer service skills. I will no longer have my packages come here. I had this option because I thought my packages would be secure. Usually this location has decent customer service however this experience was horrible. The UPS worker named Yesenia was completely rude to my pregnant wife and myself. I came to return a package and right off the bat when I showed her my shipping label through my phone (I thought I could have it scanned and a label printed) her response was: "how do you expect me to ship something without a label?" I stated that I thought she could scan and print a label. She grabbed my box and said "no I can't scan that label and I don't see a physical label." Without providing me any options I had to ask if there's any possible way I can print one there, she had me email it to the UPS email and pay a print fee (which is fine I just wished I had a nicer response) Horrible customer service skills. I wish I can give them NO star. Driver missed for the first delivery, didn't not leave any slip for me. I had to called seller for check on my package, then realized i missed the first delivery date. So I called for second attempt for re delivery, the lady who pick up the phone and told me "Sorry the driver was too lazy to make another delivery" I was shocked. Then when I went to pick up my package they charged me for $5 fee. This is such a BS. I don't care about the $5 fee but it's very unreasonable and super unprofessional. I'm sad to see a drop in customer service here I wanted to send back a subscription box but both a worker and one of the managers here told me that the company-generated shipping label I had for the box was faulty. They did not want to take the three seconds to type up the tracking code and input it into the system. I believe a husband and wife team run this operation. I've always received good service from her and the young personnel. But today I got such rude treatment from the male owner I promise to go to the FedEx store just a little ways west on Huntington. I was looking to buy one kind of 4 different 'flashlights' they were selling and when the helpful young employee handed the working display model to me the owner interrupted after I turned the light on and grapes it back and told me I was eating the battery. When I exclaimed 'isn't that's what the display is for' he said 'Well you can look at it'. Maybe he was put off because I'm an older white male which is my accident of birth, but I can't remember the last time I was treated so rudely after frequenting an establishment that exists to make money. As a follow up, I tried to talk to the lady whom I've known owns this store. I could see her sitting and eating. When I tried discreetly to get her attention she shined me in, telling me someone else will help me. When I insisted I speak with her she asked me to wait 5 minutes. I love my UPS store on Myrtle. I've been a customer here for several years. I hear so many complaints about people having their mail stolen from their home mailboxes and I always recommend getting a box at the UPS store. I even tell my clients to get a UPS box so you have a street address. I don't have to worry about sitting around waiting for a shipment to arrive, I get an email or phone call when it's there and I go pick it up. I've done business with this store for many years. Today I give them a one star due to the fact that I was told shredding paper was $1 per pound of which I agreed. As I was going to pay owner tells her employee it's $2 per pound. I asked her to see a list of pricing and she said price increased this month and walked away. Leaving her employee to handle the situation. There's no website to check the price. I insisted asking, why I was told $1 and as soon as I was going to pay it was $2 and there's nothing in the store to verify prices. I told employee I would pay the $2 per LB because I was already there but that I was blindly paying whatever the owner wanted to charge. Yes, I had the option of walking away and not doing business with them but I had a box of papers to shred and I just didn't want to deal finding a different location at that particular moment. However, I will not be doing business with her anymore. It's too shady. Beware of her pricing and I suggest you call ahead and ask what the prices are before hand and hopefully they honor it. Terrible experience. I went there to try to mail a one page letter to arrive 3xt day. I was quoted $53. Ouch. I left to think about my options and wen5 back there in 3 min to do it. The lady then check the computer again and said it going o be cheaper, $34 since it was a business address. I said great and was ready to pay and then she told me it actually $67. I was upset, I said how could you changed the price 3 times within 10 min, She then accused me that I told her I wanted 2nd day initially and now I changed my mind to next day. I was upset, instead of admitting she made a mistake, as she was double and triple checking with another guy standing beside her, she accused me of changing my needs. I reiterated that I just wanted to take a photo of the receipt so I did not need to touch it, but the rep placed the print out in an inaccessible angle so that it could not be reached. It would be nice if the employees at this location understood and respected their and requests for limited contact. The Arcadia location on Live Oak Ave does a better job. I went there for a business card printing, they charge you even they made a mistake on printing your stuff which is ridiculous and try to make excuse about their mistake is your. They charge for a useless page they made to me. DON'T Do any printing service at this location they don't really have the training for that. A high school kid can do a better job then them. I print my business card at home perfectly, was thinking to use their print which I though is better, but they end up not able to fit my page on the page. 0 stars is more like it. Had to send very urgent package to Phoenix. Get to store at 8:30AM on Monday. Ask for it to be delivered by end of business day on Tuesday. Paid over $60 for 2lbs! Guess what? The UPS store did not transfer the package to UPS so it didn't leave until Tuesday at end of business. It will get there two days after it was sent on a Next Day service fee. Their attitude was pathetic. They were like "sorry, with the holidays we can guarantee it" WHAT? that's EXACTLY why I paid $60 to UPS and did not go to the post office just down the road! Bad attitude, no professionalism, no pride. I'll go to FedEx next time. Go somewhere where people still care about you a customer. read more
