Sephora's return instructions state that customers may take eligible returns to a local FedEx location, where the shipment can be labeled and packaged for return. I have completed returns at this location before and expected standard assistance with preparing the package. Instead, the two counter employees were dismissive, reluctant to help, and appeared unwilling to provide even basic assistance. When I asked about having the package taped, I was handed a tape gun and told to tape the package myself while the employees discussed whether they were supposed to do it. Their tone and manner made me feel unwelcome and inconvenienced for requesting routine service. This was not a complicated request; it was one box for a standard return. I expect FedEx customer-counter employees to communicate respectfully and provide clear guidance when a customer is following a retailer's stated return process. If this location has a policy requiring customers to package or tape their own boxes, that should be explained professionally and consistently--not handled with dismissiveness or hostility. Please review this incident, clarify the applicable policy for Sephora returns, and address the customer-service conduct of the employees working at the counter at that time. I would appreciate confirmation that this complaint has been received and reviewed. Clearly you have two miserable bitter fed Ex associates who should not be working at this location. It's obvious why I was mistreated because the male associates are beyond helpful and have NEVER questioned any returns made in the past.
