In the past, I've sent away for rebinding, and it's incredibly inconvenient and time consuming. Zavalas does absolutely outstanding work. What's more, I was surprised by both the fast turnaround and the low cost. I already have another rebinding project I'm eager to take to him in a few months. The first one, which I just got back, was coming apart because of the poor glue job done at the factory. I was more than happy to pay to have it rebound with high-quality stitching, and receive it back practically brand new. I see that a recent customer complained about "up-charging," and only wanted a crummy reglue. Hilarious. He or she should've been happy that Zavalas wanted to do the job correctly. This isn't a place that's simply going to glue together poorly constructed Bibles and books. They're going to rebind them to last forever. Not only all of that, but both times I went into the shop, Mr. Zavala stopped what he was doing, and sat down with me in his office to explain the process, and this for a repair job that was only going to cost me forty dollars. I was deeply impressed that he would take the time to do that. (He happened to be in the middle of rebinding a Bible that was over a hundred and thirty years old, which I'm sure is no inexpensive repair.) That he'd sit down with me, a new customer, and take the time to talk to me... this is the epitome of high-quality customer service. I will go to this company with all of my rebinding needs from now on.

Literally. By 1am, I realized I needed copying services -- I had over 100 pages that needed Xeroxing before my court case at 8:30am that morning. I frantically called around and sent emails to a few 24-hour services that were listed on Google. No one got back to me, except for Jaime at Unlimited Copy Services. He returned my voicemail immediately, to my huge relief. Jaime was so kind and went above and beyond. At 1:41am, Jamie texted me his email so I could send him all my documents for copying. At 2:06am, Jamie had three sets of 69 pages assembled perfectly with binder clips. I asked him where he was located so I could pick up the copies. Jaime offered to deliver the documents to me instead!! By 3:21am, we met up at my neighborhood Walgreen's parking lot for the copy hand-off. Jaime was going to charge me something ridiculously low like $50 for the copies. I insisted on paying him more for his time, effort, and energy -- $125 (see attached receipt). You can't put a price tag on that kind of service -- especially when dealing with Los Angeles Superior Court!! I can't recommend Jaime's business enough!! (Although whether or not he'll meet you in a Walgreen's parking lot at 3:21am for a copy hand-off is entirely up to him!!)
