This is so overdue. I use this Lakeside office close to home and the one in poway close to work. It's like day and night. And honestly, i am always afraid to go to there due to their impatience and just very cold service. Gone there for years but never built a relationship! i only do returns there... Now, Ive used this Lakeside location for 3 years and without exaggeration, nothing but the most amazing experience!!! I truly love coming here. The staff are pleasant, well trained and always fun to interact with, especially Zach. Never a dull moment! They work well all together, like a big family! ***I find them to be very patient here with your Amazon returns, which i got a TONS of, weekly! Haha! So, Im truly stunned reading the bad reviews because i had nothing but excellent and speedy care. The staff know you by your name, and even under pressure, they seem to handle well. I originally left a Yelp review on 9/26/2019 for The UPS Store in Lakeside: Specifically, Casper - who works there, is quite possibly one of the most awesome and nicest human beings alive. I've been to this establishment numerous times and every single time I see Casper, he is 100% consistent and ALWAYS, ALWAYS... helpful,1 attentive, cheerful, knowledgeable, kind, respectful, genuine, responsible etc If he personally isn't able to "help" a customer or meet their certain requests, he doesn't hesitate to offer them other solutions. I'm a regular person like everyone else and I'm very observant; I watch how Casper consistently yet so effortlessly - goes above and beyond to treat every single customer the same way he treats me. He is such an asset to his employer/company, and quite literally a breath of fresh air. Every time I leave there, I'm in a good/better mood! Every establishment needs more people like Casper. In fact, the world needs more people like him. I haven't been to his UPS Store in over a year due to my distance change etc.. and not sure if he's still there. These guys are always helpful and friendly and make shipping pretty painless. They also offer printing, copying, faxing, etc... The only thing that could be considered negative is that their shipping supplies (boxes, tape, bubble wrap...) are super pricey. Tip: stop at Wal-Mart or the Dollar Tree if in need of these things and then ship with UPS. read more

Great store for notary service. Notary services are $15 for each sign document. You can sometimes get notary services for free from your bank branch, but appointments are required for that service. This UPS store was perfect for our last minute notary needs. No appointment needed. The store was very clean and staff were very helpful and pleasant. The store is located in the same shopping center as the Albertson's grocery store. The shopping center itself has plenty of parking but we found 20 minute parking right outside of the UPS store. read more

Under new management. I went in on 11-15-19 with items to have packed and shipped. This required 2 boxes to ship the items. I was charged for 6 boxes. I left the store empty handed. Check your receipts very carefully!! I'll just find another store. Update: I returned to the store on 11-20-19 to get some clarification, and I left the store just as confused. Okay so i want to start off by saying we come here often to send off our packages and get our documents notarized,ECT. Wednesday night was the last possible day I had to ship out my vacuum for repair. I have an almost 2 year old that I usually have help with but my husband is out at sea, so it was just my toddler and I trying to get things done that evening. Being two he doesn't make it easy to do anything. I went into UPS store looking for a box, mind you it was a FedEx shipment, and I was so stressed out about how I was going to get the vacuum inside while carrying my son. Diane from the UPS store went out to my car got the vacuum packaged it up for me and then carried it over to the FedEx drop off counter inside Albertson's. I could have cried because of how stressed out I was trying to get this done with my toddler in my arms, but she did it all no questions asked with a smile in her face. We live down the street so we can just walk here. The store is always clean & the employees are friendly. If I can't make it to the Post Office I love I can drop my packages off here too. I was obviously stressed because anything with the word court and it is stressful but the associate made me feel better by getting the job done very quickly and efficiently and not making me seem like I was being a burden. She had to Print each page individually each individual email and instead of charging me two dollars each they charge me their normal price of $.15 each which of 40 copies that's a huge difference in price. I was half afraid they were going to charge me that and I would've had to pay it because I need these papers but they didn't and I think that was a really awesome of them. I have made many returns to the other UPS store in Santee from Amazon but I will definitely come to the store for all my other niece great customer service friendly and patient from the new young girl associate with dark hair! read more

I went into the store this evening to return several things because my daughter's birthday party got canceled. They were so nice and understanding I had several boxes of stuff that I needed to return due to the coronavirus my daughter's party had to be canceled and so obviously I didn't need all the stuff that I had purchased on Amazon. As soon as I walked in they said welcome to the UPS store. They right away helped me I had forgotten my labels and they let me email to them and then help me print them out every time I go to this place experience is so easy and not frustrating like other places. If you need to mail, return, or buy any shipping stuff this is the place these people are so nice and will help you find whatever you need. read more

I use this UPS store a lot during the week for mailing and just everyday postage etc. Casper never ceases to amaze me. He is always so friendly and helpful. He takes what is an ordinary errand and you can't help but leave with a smile. He is knowledgeable, quick and friendly. BE INFORMED before you return AMAZON purchases to this location... I have used this location many times in the past to return Amazon purchases with great results. In particular there was a young man who offered exceptional service with a bona fide smile and pleasant attitude. However, My latest experience had a middle aged woman tending to my return. All was well until she said that the packaging ( original product box - not the shipping box) would probably generate a restocking fee from Amazon. She said as much as 15% I was a bit incredulous, having never heard such a thing. I asked her for options and she quoted a $2.80 plastic shipping envelope ( too small for my package) and then an $8.50 cardboard box that was barely going to work. I was shocked and told her that I would take my chances. I couldn't imagine spending almost 20% of the value of the return for something with FREE return shipping. That's why we use Amazon, isn't it? I waited until the full amount of the return was credited to my account before writing this review. Amazon had no issues with me using the box the product came in! BEWARE! Not sure if this is UPS's way to recoup losses created by other shipping firms, a method of boosting sales at this specific location or perhaps misinformation on the part of the clerk ( who I believe is also the manager) I'm grateful that I used my better judgement and avoided spending almost $9 for an empty box! read more

Great store with super friendly staff! This is the second time we have used this UPS Store for printing and whatnot. Nowadays who has a printer at home?? Nobody!! We were referred here by a neighbor when we needed to print out some tickets for the day. Super fast, friendly, and helpful. This morning I went in to print, sign, and fax a document.
