I normally don't write review. A shout out for these 3 wonderful young workers - Julian, JR. and Jason. I cannot say enough of this wonderful UPS store at La Canada. I accidentally brought in a wrong box to return to Amazon, and Julian helped me to retrieve it from a mountain high of boxes that was piled up to be shipped. But thanks to these people, they were willing to work with me and helped me retrieve my box so I can ship back the correct one to Amazon. Just very thankful for their willingness to help me out. I used to go to the branch at Verdugo blvd next to CVS. Not only the worker was rude and unhelpful, the manager even stood there saying nothing and watch the worker being rude to me. And I later found out my product returned was never refunded because Amazon never received it. Again, I highly recommend to go to the La Canada brunch for better and efficient service as these workers are always helpful and cheerful. read more

I have been a PO Box subscriber here since 2019. And I have to say that I love this place. It feels like family when I walk in. People know what they're doing and they are really helpful. The parking lot is small and can get crowded. There are sometimes lines. They don't have a free printer so plan to pay or print at home. I found faxing to be very expensive. It was also the most reliable pay for fax experience I've had. Today I had to return twice because I forgot something and I saw one of the staff members outside helping people bring in bulky items both times. This spot feels like an anchor in the community. I think UPS tends to be more expensive than other spots, but to me the value is in the service for the price. I've been very impressed and highly recommend. read more

BAD EXPERIENCE TURNED GOOD - FROM 1 STAR to 4 The review below was made on 7/09/25, and Daniel, the store owner, Immediately responded, messaged me with his cell, and then reached out to me. From 1 star to 4 stars. Customer service has gotten so bad these da;s, when someone goes out of their way to address the issue, it means a lot. (07/10/25) 07/09/25 I had a very disappointing experience at the La Cañada UPS store. I was spoken to so rudely that it felt like I was being bullied. I brought in two narrow boxes that weren't sealed on one end. The return instructions didn't mention sealing, and requirements vary these days. The associate helping me had no issue, I didn't either, until HECTOR jumped in. He was clearly having a moment: sweating, frustrated, and speaking like no one in the store could hear him. He looked at my packages and said, "What are these??" I get it, they were closing in 15 minutes. That's frustrating. But the door was still open. He immediately started in on me: "Yeah, you need to tape these. You think they're gonna get there open?" I said, "Hey man, no need to be rude." He kept going: "You're asking for Wi-Fi like you're just going to find it?" I held up the Wi-Fi card the associate had already given me. "The boxes aren't taped," he snapped. Mind you, I wasn't upset. Not taping a box isn't a big deal. I could come back tomorrow or pay $1.50 to have UPS do it. Hector told me that with such an attitude, it seemed like he expected me to freak out. Honestly, the whole interaction felt like he was waiting for a fight, and every moment I wasn't rude back, he became more frustrated. I wasn't angry, but I did say that I understood it was the end of the day and asked him not to take it out on me. He went off. Told me I was the one having an awful day and that he felt great. It blew my mind that someone whose job is to deal with customers was gaslighting me like that. I'm at a loss. What are you supposed to do when someone paid to help is this rude? It was a terrible experience. I told him, "Please don't chastise me," and when I went to leave, he started talking about me to the next customer. I said, "I can hear you," and he yelled back, "GOOD!" It was gnarly. I hope no one else gets treated like that, and I hope Hector isn't treated tomorrow the way he treated people today. read more

I absolutely love coming to this location. Everyone that works here is so kind, friendly, and most importantly, they are competent. They know what they are doing and they know how to do it correctly. I find that in most businesses today that is extremely difficult to find. I have three other UPS stores close to me and I go a little further to get to this one because the employees here shine. Jason, Stephanie, Hector, Elizabeth, and JR (I come here a lot so I know them all) are all truly wonderful and make the Amazon return process easy. The store here is so lucky to have them! read more

I went here after a less-than-satisfying trip to the post office. they had the envelope i needed, and even made me a stamp so I could send my package, that I couldn't send at the post office because they were closed (at 915 on a monday) very reasonable prices too; better than the post office. read more

I live in Studio City and my daughter goes to a private school near this UPS location. So I often come to this UPS location for various services. All the employees here are beyond professional and courteous and helpful. I am always greeted and thanked upon my arrival and departure. I can easily go to my UPS store less than a mile from my home, but I choose to come to this location and will continue to do so. I was trying to return an (1) item using Amazon's HASSLE FREE RETURN, which indicates the UPS will pack, label and ship your return for FREE as shown in the below photo 1 -4, at the La Canada UPS. The lady refused to do so and insisted to charge the packaging fee or to purchase a tape in the store as I wasn't sealed my package completely. Receipt of charging packaging fee is attached even I requested for the refund at the end with no return as I wasn't feel right the lady was trying to do the whole process. read more

I went in on Sunday, and the customer service was horrible. There was an angry, rude man working named Hector. I simply asked if I could send them an email to print a label, something I've done for years. He went off of me saying there's no such thing and went over the new system pointing to the "Rental computer" I asked for his name and said I'd take my business elsewhere because he was so abrasive, condescending and rude. Generally I'm satisfied with the La Canada UPS store but for a year and a half I've been trying to get them to finalize a claim and pay up for a box of items I shipped to Montana to my son who was working there. The box was broken open; one of his expensive boots was missing; and his expensive hat (purchased in Texas) was ruined. We've provided photos, receipts, etc. NOTHING NOTHING NOTHING UPS corporate has been worthless. THEY NEED TO FINALIZE THE CLAIM!!!! I shipped a very valuable item (a microphone worth $2400) from this UPS in a perfectly good re-used Amazon box with tape around every edge and corner. At the time of shipping, I was not offered insurance (and I have the unsigned insurance form to prove it) and didn't remember myself to ask for it because I ship with UPS often and don't usually experience issues. It's not my job to remember, it's supposed to be offered. The package arrived at its destination - but it was totally empty. Someone clearly opened the box, took what was inside, and closed it back up. I filed a claim and it was denied because, according to UPS, the shipping box was not adequate! Perhaps not adequate to prevent outright theft, but this accusation is an insult. I ship these kinds of items a few times per month and I did not do anything differently this time. Next, the claim was referred back to this store with the option to dispute the claim. Daniel was somewhat helpful but claimed "we always offer insurance" which is not true, but that even if I had the insurance "UPS wouldn't pay more than $100" because the box was inadequate. He said he'd file the claim and get back to me, but of course never did. Overall, he and the other people working here were dismissive of my issue. I found out later from a different (and more responsible and caring UPS store clerk in La Crescenta, just up the road) that there are very specific requirements to be eligible for reimbursement for a lost or damaged package - which were of course never shared with me by the people working at this La Canada store. So, basically, anyone at UPS can open up a box, take what's inside, smash the box up a bit, and when you try to file a claim, UPS can just say "well, it wasn't packed correctly". If the people working at this store cared, they should have told me before shipping that the box was inadequate. So, either it *was* adequate or the people at this store didn't bother telling me it wasn't. In contrast, the clerk at the La Crescenta UPS offered to double box an item I was sending and add extra tape. He offered insurance and made me sign the form. All buttoned up! This La Canada store doesn't really care about you or your package. I am not totally convinced someone at this store didn't steal the microphone. I mean, it could have been any number of UPS workers along the way, but if you've ever seen the inside of a UPS depot, that would be really hard to do. Also, the people in the store asked what the item was and so they knew what it was. If the box was indeed inadequate (which is absurd, but if it was), then the people at this store didn't bother mentioning it. Finally, they made practically no effort to help resolve the issue. In short, go to a different UPS. I recommend La Crescenta if you're a bit west or Arcadia if you're a bit east of La Canada. There is also a pretty good FedEx up Foothill a couple miles. read more

I mailed an oversized package for $600 to the east coast and it didn't arrive on time. After contacting this store they said it was not UPS' problem, it's the drivers who for some reason could not locate a valid address. I was surprised and disappointed that the UPS store did not take any ownership for their service or offer, even when prompted, any discount.
