Shipping ups 2nd day air I printed label on ups website at home and came to drop off and asked for a box since I chose the option of shipping in a medium ups box so I asked for one at the store the rep told me very rudely that they aren't free. I asked really they're free everywhere else as long as you ship w ups, she told me they it was a new policy and explained how the owner has to pay out of pocket for those, and she looses money! That's BS I can literally log in to ups and order a pack of ups medium shipping boxes for free! I always come here but will make the drive even further if I have to. I really don't understand how this Access Point is still in business with a racist owner. I'm not surprised that they have a 2.5 star rating. Truthfully, they deserve half of one. Chris - supposedly the owner - refused to release a package sent to my home address. Granted it was not addressed to my name, but to my fiancé in the military, who's currently stationed in Korea. The owner already seemed to have prejudged me based on appearance at first sighting. At the start of the transaction, the representative was already lackluster and had absolutely zero customer service skills. There was no greeting, no smile, no small talk. The package was addressed to my fiancé, but to my address. I checked the UPS website policy and saw that if it is not addressed to myself, I can show proof of residency, so I brought a copy of my lease. The tyrant of an owner informs me that the name on the package (the receiver) needs to send an email releasing the package to me with a copy of their ID. He did that based on her request. She returned to the counter and said "based on these circumstances, I won't release the package to you." (What circumstance? Your need to control everyone who works for you? Your staff looks miserable and the turnover rate is deplorable.) Apparently she'll release my package to a UPS driver to send to Dallas for me to pick-up. Not to pick on this store but I have to drop off UPS and Fedex at least once a week. Fedex has DROP OFF BOXES UPS HAS ZERO. Last Friday there was 15 people in line. I have places to go! Avoid this location at all costs. As other reviews mention, there is theft going on here. My Amazon Return (which was in a box where you could tell the contents) never was scanned out from this location. UPS customer service was worthless as you can't open a claim if the package never shipped even though I have a tracking number and receipt from this store proving that I dropped off the package. Fortunately Amazon issued a refund. UPS (and the Police) need to investigate this franchisee - staff here know the deal too as they absolutely refuse to help or care when you approach them with a missing package or other problem. read more

Hidden fees, this is the only location that they charge you ridiculously more then the total price listed on your shipment receipt. They add random additional items on store receipt. This is the only ups I've ever had this experience and it's consistent. Obviously the location is doing this to pocket extra money. read more

This is my go to place in Las Colinas for sending packages. There is a postal center directly across the street from my apartment complex that I've used a couple of times for dropping off packages and have only been met with unfriendly service by the same rude employee there, to the point that I now drive to this UPS store on MacArthur just to avoid going to that one (even though that one is a literal walk across the street from my apt). I don't love making the drive to this one knowing there is one within walking distance, but I'll take the friendly and efficient staff here over the alternative any day. So thank you to the employees at the 2732 location and shout out to Murtaza who assisted me with sending a package yesterday in the fastest amount of time ever! I had to send another package today on a whim so I came back and received the same excellent and insanely quick service! Was in and out in less than 30 seconds, no lie. Today I took a return to the store. While I was waiting my turn I noticed Christmas Garland laying on a shelf. I ask the gentleman behind the counter, "is that decoration or a return. ". His answer oh someone is sending that back. I explained that was my return and I had the receipt In my car. He stated oh we have it in the back. I requested him to send it on the way that was my $90. Simply visited this location for a drop off. It's sort of hard to find. It's in a shopping strip right beside a restaurant. The sign is pretty small. How does one end up with 100+ check-ins at a UPS Store? I'm sure there are many ways but for me it's because I have a mailbox there. This review deals solely with renting a mailbox from the UPS Store. Unfortunately, I've never shipped anything from this store. When I first relocated to the DFW area, I was in 'temporary housing' and as a result did not have a Texas state ID. As a result, I could not open a mailbox at a local USPS (post office) as they require an in-state ID. And why couldn't I obtain a Texas state ID? Because I did not have a permanent residence. Of course if I had a permanent residence I'd have no need for a mailbox .....hmmmm... what an interesting predicament. (good thing we're not a mobile society where people move across state lines due to job transfers/relocations, etc....oh wait, it's 2013 not 1913). Focus Willis, focus! This review is about UPS......... Thankfully, they realize it's 2013 and understand there is a market to be served. I opened my mailbox there so I would have a convenient place to pick up my mail as I decided on my permanent housing location. Their setup process was simple and fairly affordable (it does require a 3 month commitment). The staff at this location have been pleasant to work with and very helpful. After setting up the "Change of Address" via the USPS process and website and guess what? They screwed up my forwarding address. As a result I went weeks without receiving any mail from my previous address. After multiple communications with USPS (with no results) I spoke with UPS Store reps to determine if they could help. Ultimately, they put a work around in place that allowed my mail to be delivered. I am very appreciative of the staff at this store and their willingness to help me. This location has multiple mailbox sizes, it's all about renting the one that fits your need. I went with smaller mailbox which met all of my needs. Whenever a letter or package arrived that would not fit into my box, they would leave me a note informing me I had something to pick up at the desk. Lastly, one thing to beware with using a mailbox at UPS (or similar store) is upon canceling the mailbox, mail cannot be forwarded to another address via the "Change of Address" process. For one, USPS WILL NOT do a Change of Address from a business to a residential address (yes, the UPS Store is considered a business and therefore has a business address which is included in the mailbox address). This said, UPS can forward your mail through their own channels for a small fee (after all they are a business). read more

Currently filing a claim with UPS sent sister four packages of electronics and two were damaged. We bought the insurance and are currently waiting for the out come. The shipment consisted of two Sony 8" two way speakers, a Sherwood AM/FM 100 watt stereo receiver, and a Pioneer CTF500 Cassette Unit, as well as a JVC CD Player. The items were sent to my sister in Washington DC (Maryland) and once they were installed she stated that the Amp had two of the feet missing that hold it up, and the Cassette would not turn. All of the equipment was calibrated and tested before it left the house and the equipment was purchased through MCM electronics and ebay. The UPS store handles the claim and reimbursed us for the damages items. Thank you! read more
