Horrible customer service. Laura had no customer service skills. No greeting, no multi-tasking, or expression to be helpful. Had a Fed-Ex package sealed and ready to go. All I needed was a receipt and there was I my one person of front of me. And there were several employees that had no customers. read more

This was by far the most helpful Office depot I have been to. I wanted to copy and put together a report of my Grandfather and Great Aunt immigrating to this country. We copied and punched holes to place the story all together right from the copier. Wendy was my go to gal and She knew every question to ask when I was putting it all together. These were family treasures and I needed to mail them to my adopted Mom. It was a fascinating story and Wendy was very important when it came time to mail the story . Purchased an office chair at the Grapevine location about 2 and a half years ago. Albeit the chair was not a top of the line product however the leather on the chair peeled off like aluminum foil after light use. I know you get what you pay for but upon calling and speaking with the store manager, Shane Mcfawn and asking if he would consider a concession of any sort on the very poor quality chair he said I would have to have my receipt. Sure Shane. Hahaha. 2 years old purchase. He offered a 10 percent discount on a new chair. I asked for his bosses phone number but he said it was "policy" not to give out his phone number...but he gave me his name, Pete Scalzi. Well guess what Shane? Rather than chase down Pete Scalzi's phone number I will just settle for giving your extremely pathetic customer service free perpetual publicity. I will never purchase a product from Office Depot and will tell a vast amount of people my experience with you. You should be fired for such terrible customer service. Look around at Costco etc who stand behind their products almost indefinitely. Times have changed Shane..... 30 years ago, if you pissed off a customer, they'd call "1-800-CUSTOMERSERVICE," tear your secretary a new one, and forget about it...but times have indeed changed. These days, customers don't want to complain. They want vindication. They want to destroy your business! Almost everybody in North America has a phone in their pocket, and they're DYING to use it to decimate your brand.  Nowdays they go online and go NUTS.  They go to every website, every service, every rating agency and go crazy on you.  The damage is almost irreparable.  Youve spent years building a brand and a reputation then you do something stupid to somebody and that motivates them to just go online and tell everybody how bad you are Shane. Think about modern day examples....  (like this one ) Can you imagine the damage that does to you and your brand?? Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, Yelp, Angies List, Trip Adviser, Expedia, LinkedIn, Thumbtack etc. There are more avenues than ever before for angry customers to set your livelihood ablaze, and you need to know how to tame the fire!  I suggest you deal with the disgruntled customer on the front end because the alternative is ALWAYS very very very costly!! The employees at this location are professional, helpful, and generous with their time. I had an issue with the warranty of a laptop that I purchased here. Buyer beware of Lenovo laptop warranty validation. On November 27, 2020, I purchased a Lenovo laptop from Office Depot. The laptop is great and I have had no issues with it. Problems started when I attempted to register the laptop with Lenovo so it could be covered under their 1 year warranty policy. When I attempted to complete the registration online, the system responded with a message that it was out of date. I found the validation date was May 2020, (I suppose when Office Depot purchased it from Lenovo) and I could not receive the benefit of a full 12 months. With a purchase date of May 2020, that shortened my coverage 5 months. I had to file a ticket with Lenovo and wait almost 10 days to contest the original purchase date. They required me to submit documentation of purchase. Another 5 days of waiting and they finally changed the purchase date to Nov. 27, so I could have 12 months on my warranty. I have never had this issue with warranty validation until now. read more

LapTop no long worked so $324 to send off. 3 months after LT was taken in for analysis, hard drive wiped clean - lost all the data - They could have cared less.
