Last night I went in to take advantage of the sale for some gifts I had left to buy. I waited awhile for an associate to come by and help me but no one ever came so I went ahead and got in line. I believe it was a manager who was helping me at the counter but she was very rude and didn't want to help me at all, she didn't bother to greet me she just said "what do you need?" I told her exactly what I wanted and she said "okay" looks over to the associate next to her and says "can you take over? I can't deal with this right now." I tell the associate that helps me also what I was looking for and she goes and grabs it. She took a while checking me out but we managed to get it all done but didn't offer me a box for the gifts and no tag like everyone else was getting. I told my husband it was very odd that the manager was very nice to the young couple she helped before me but when I walked up she couldn't bother to greet me or help me. They have the covid protocol down its just the wait times that can be a little outrageous. Touchless everything, no cash, no returns or contact with anything. Everyone Is required to wear a mask. I did hear a sales associate mention that they did take scheduled appointments so if you do have something in mind and don't want to wait in a long line then I would encourage you calling ahead and getting an appointment because they are super limited with the number of people inside due to the space. Walked in this afternoon to get my watch change to bigger adapter and Karla helped she was the cashier informed me that its was going to be 15 minutes, she was not friendly at all seemed bothered by me asking questions, and when another young lady approached me I asked about my watch she said let me check well Karla told her why I was there. And kept looking my way , the girl came out with my watch band unfortunately they have horrible service I had to fix my own watch it was put together the wrong way. I seemed to be that they were only very attentive to the white customers that were in the store and the ones that walked in. I love Kendra Scott jewelry and ordered by mail up until my birthday month, when I decided to visit in person right before all heck broke loose with Covid-19. The store is in Southlake Town Center, which has always been a bit confusing for me to navigate, but that's not their fault. I visited before lunch on a Friday and the traffic was as heavy then as it is on a weekend. Consequently, I ended up parking in the big parking spot and walking. When I arrived at the store, I was surprised at how tiny the space is, and how BUSY it was! Nevertheless, I was greeted immediately, and the associate was able to find the earrings I wanted based on my feeble description. I was given the 50% birthday discount after showing my ID. Would loved to have checked out the color bar, but I couldn't get near it! My advise is to look at the products at your leisure online first, then go into the store with an idea of what you want. With the new social distancing requirements, it will be interesting to see how they control the crowds. I was very interested in something in a showcase and wanted to know the price, repeatedly, I went over to the same show case to see if that was enough of a hint, still no one came to assist. When I kept looking around, no one came over. The only time I was acknowledged was when I was walking out and someone said goodbye. How is this even remotely good customer service? I walked into your store with every intention of buying the necklace I had seen in your showcase, and was not greeted or acknowledged or offered help. I have been to this location 3 times in the last year, I don't go in often, but when I do I know what I want, get in and get out. Today was the perfect day to do just that: it was raining, a weekday, and there was 1 other customer in the store. Hoping to be quick, it wasn't. I waited for about 5 minutes while 3-4 associates stood around talking not one even acknowledged me. This is a smaller location than some I have been to, but no matter how busy the other locations were they at least asked if I needed help. My daughter fell in love with Kendra Scott a few years ago. Our local elementary school (Lantana) was having a fundraiser and we made our first purchases there (a necklaces & bracelet). A few weeks later, we visited the Dallas location and was just blown away by the friendliness/service we received. We got our daughter earrings that day. In June, we went to have my daughters bracelet repaired but ended up buying a new one at half price. Fine, no problem. July, she turns 12 and she wanted to have a shopping day at the Southlake square with her girlfriends. We give her $$$ to spend and her first stop is Kendra Scott. The sales lady pushed her for her birth certificate or proof that it was her birthday because their system showed she already paid half price for an item in June and essentially was calling my daughter a liar.... in front of her friends. Upset and disappointed, she called us and we even went to talk to the sales lady our self. Two parents confirming it's her birthday. Nope, she wasn't going to budge without proof. So, my husband and I start searching through hundreds of pictures because at one point we had a copy of her US passport from a cruise we took with Disney. After at least 10 minutes of looking, the sales lady finally rolled her eyes and said fine I will make an adjustment this one time only. Against my better judgment, I went to Kendra Scott earlier this past week. My birthday was in Aug. I saw some necklaces for breast cancer awareness and wanted to support the cause. After dropping $200 cash on some pieces the sales lady never once acknowledged me or even thanked me for my business. Too cool, I guess. I've been to this location a few times. It's bigger than a kiosk but smaller than most other stores. It can be viewed as a nightmare depending on the day and time you go. The first time I went I bought a pair of the Lee silver drop earrings in pearl. After a trip I realized I lost one of the earrings, so I went in with my lone earring, turned it in and got a new set of earrings for half off. A few weeks later I was getting out my phone charger and found the other earring wrapped in the cord! So off I went with the other lone earring, turned it in and got another set of earrings in a different color for half off. My most recent visit was three days ago. I have a December birthday and wanted to use the 50% off one item reward during my birthday month but refused to go prior to Christmas and stand in the long lines only to get squished among the crowd inside the small store. The store was still very crowded but they had more than enough teenage workers to handle the crowd. I knew what I wanted to buy so I picked it up and went to the color bar to pay. There were about 5 girls standing behind the counter with hand held devices, checking people out fairly quickly. It's either because the brand is very popular in Texas or because it is a small store and few customers fit at one time. It might be a combination of both. The employees there aim to please. They want their customers to feel comfortable, appreciated and cared for. They tend to be friendly and helpful overall. In the past, I have had to call their customer service and they were equally helpful. As far as the quality of their jewelry, it is good. Many individuals rave about the quality of their products. I have many friends and family members whose daily jewelry set and accent pieces come from Kendra Scott. For me, personally, I had an allergic reaction on my ears, arm and neck as I was gifted earrings, a necklace and a bracelet. That is not their fault necessarily. I have never had an allergic reaction with any jewelry but theirs. I had no idea my skin would react that way. These ladies are awesome! After a friend was visiting from out of town and had to go to Kendra Scott, And my 25 year old daughter recommended me try it out, I decided to go for my 50th birthday! I walked in and everyone was so friendly and accommodating! I have been in since a couple of times and the atmosphere has been different without these two girls there, to be honest. (But the girls could have been new.) When either of these girls are there, the atmosphere shifts! They are awesome and authentic! As they were walking me through all my options and how to have some earrings made, we were getting to know each other. I believe it was one of the girls mom who was struggling with cancer. I began to encourage her and visit. During this time I shared my story and battle with stage four cancer for years. It is a struggle to stay encouraged when you feel sick and nauseous all the time. Yet, we all can find so many things to be thankful for. As I was purchasing my earrings, the girls handed me a bag with a gift in it for me and said they wanted to encourage me for what I was walking through with my health. When I opened it, it was the ring I was wearing around and had put back for a later time. I was beyond touched and grateful! I get that people will purchase/"borrow" jewelry items, wear them once for a special event, and return for a full refund, but come on Kendra Scott. Even Cartier and Tiffany both have a refund policy. Once you buy something here, you are STUCK with Kendra Scott. This store is getting the one star because after a snobby salesperson pressured my young daughter into spending a lot on an expensive piece, never once was she asked if she was aware what the return policy is. Taylor, the assistant manager, was absolutely awesome. The necklace was sold out online so she looked in the inventory at neighboring towns found the necklace, and is having it shipped to me. NONE of other DFW stores offered to do this for me. The other stores told me there was not a computer inventory system the could check. Very friendly and attentive staff members who are always offering help every time that I come in. The store is very well organized and well kept. If I cannot find what I am looking for on the floor, chances are they will have it in the back. As for the brand itself, I own multiple Kendra Scott items and have never had to question their quality. The jewelry is very well made and the stones are beautiful and unique! There are many brands out there with similar items at a fraction of the cost but the quality is no match to what Kendra Scott has to offer. Be on the look out for their sales to save you some money; they have sales quite frequently. TIP: Come in during your birthday month and show your ID as proof of your birthday to receive 50% off one item of your choice! Was in at 4:30 on a Sunday. The place was a zoo. No rhyme or reason for check out, apparently there were two lines. I got in one of the lines and the lady behind the counter got done with the person she was checking out and then just left. And I mean left the store. Another lady came up and took over. Very little customer service because the girls behind the counter are too stressed trying to check everybody out and pull their merchandise. This is a small location so I was happy to see them controlling the crowd.
