The gaming section had about 10-20 Xbox items, a somewhat decent Nintendo section, and a reasonable Sony section, but overall it was smaller and less impressive than other locations I've visited. The store was clean and organized, but if your goal is to find a wide variety of toys or gaming products, this location is disappointing. Very disappointed in this location. I had my director order a few items for me to pick up and I watched him input my name as an authorized pick-up person. I even got the email saying that I am the authorized person to pick up. I arrived at the store, showed my barcode and I was denied pickup even though I showed them the email that shows my name as an authorized person. Showed my ID, my business card and still a hard no. Director went to go pick up the item. Came back and I looked at the tag on the item that shows a list of people to pick up. My name was on the tag. I came here for my new television. Like anyone else, I had done my shopping online and read the reviews, and found the TV I wanted to purchase. I knew it was in stock and I even had a girlfriend meeting me to pick it up in her SUV and to help me get it into my home. I was ready to go. Once I got to best buy, I walked back to the TVs and was approached by a salesman. Told him exactly what I wanted. Showed him on my phone. He then proceeded to try and talk me out of my choice. Implied it was a brand that wouldn't last. I told him I had one that I paid twice as much for 13 years ago, and it was still going strong, it was going to the bedroom and I wanted a bigger one for the living room. He walked away and said someone would bring out my TV. And I felt...judged. I'm not a gamer. I don't care about your specs. I know what I want and I told you from the beginning. A young man comes hauling out my television and walks it to the front, while another sales associate comments about my television being old technology. Shut up already! Just sell me my damn TV! I do not see the value in spending 1000 more dollars on a television. TVs are the only thing in this world that have gotten lighter and cheaper. This kid then tried to hard sell me on a warranty. Get outta here with that. I didn't appreciate my "service" at best buy. However, I got a fantastic TV on sale. It is great. It is a Google TV that made friends with my Google phone, and I didn't even have to log into any of my apps. It didn't on its own! I purchased an open box Lenovo laptop for my graduate program. It was not working as well as I wanted to so I called bestbuy and could not get an answer. Reluctantly I drove to bestbuy and wanted to exchange it for a laptop that functioned well. Manager Kash was not sure if one was in stock, which I understood all she could do was refund me. I did not wan that because I need the laptop for school. I was told to try to speak to James B in computers. He was THE BEST!! So knowledgeable, so informative, kind, and showed me that my laptop was not working because of USER (ME) Error!! I had locked the function keys and did not know I did so some features were not working!! Horrible customer service. I purchased an appliance in 8/2024 along with the extended warranty. In 7/2025, it stooped working and was replaced under the manufacturer warranty. The store manager refused to transfer or refund the extended warranty. Told me to call an 800 number and take it up with them headquarters. This is NOT a store issue. It is an example of corporate greed out of control. I went to a store and found a laptop that would work for me. I went home and went online and purchased it for delivery the next day. It did not arrive and late in that evening an email came in that stated that it would arrive sometime in the next two weeks or not at all. I tried using the chat bot but it wouldn't answer my question and there was no customer service number. The email said I could go to a store where they were in stock and pick it up there. I called my local store only to get someone in some call center. He told me the stores that had them in stock and confirmed I could go there to get mine. I went to the nearest one and despite the fact that they had it in stock and despite what the email said they could not give it to me. I will certainly never due business there again. The store personnel were very helpful but Corporate has eliminated customer service for their own personal profit. When these policies bankrupt the company they will be long gone. Best Buy cancelled my Total Tech Support membership Sept 2022 without ever sending a bill or notifying me of the cancellation or even offering an apology. They admit it was a problem experienced by "many" customers but, their attitude is "too bad ... so sad ... can't help you". SO, in spite of this, I renewed my Total Tech membership while trying to buy a new TV and iPhone this week. However, I lost my earlier printer warranty under my formerly terminated Total Tech membership as Best Buy refused to backdate my renewed Total Tech membership to cover it. Even after this problem, I stupidly went ahead bought a $1200 iPhone 14 Pro plus accessories and a $899 Samsung Smart TV with Total Tech installation and scheduled an install date. Two days later the installation date was cancelled and rescheduled by "text" forcing me to also reschedule an AT&T Direct TV equipment upgrade and a security company installation appointment, both of which were dependent upon getting the TV installed first. The Geek Squad arrived today to install the TV. When unwrapped, the TV screen was completely shattered. Turns out, it was a warehouse "damaged return item" which had been re-boxed and re-sold. I tried to get a replacement but, the item is NO LONGER IN STOCK and cannot be ordered. The Geek Squad guys were very embarrassed. Geek Squad is good but, BEST BUY SUCKS. It's impossible to get a Manager on the phone to address these problems and the "Live Chat" function is worthless unless you enjoy wasting endless time talking repeated "word track dialogue" with some rep in Mumbai India. I'm returning the TV, iPhone 14 with accessories and will cancel the Total Tech membership. I will buy all elsewhere. If you shop here, beware of "David" in TV Sales at the BEST BUY GRAPEVINE STORE. My experience is based solely on curbside pickup when we weren't allowed to go inside during quarantine. It was quite convenient and easy to order my flat screen (ours went out). We went on the website, added it to my cart, paid and set up a time to pick it up. Not problems there. When we arrived, it was quite evident as to where to drive to check in. The guy manning the tent asked for our ID and then radioed to the front entrance to bring out our product, which we then drove to and they loaded for us. There was no exchange of anything, all of the paperwork was emailed. So simple! The staff were all friendly and knew what the procedures were, so there was no hold up. We were in and out quickly. Go somewhere else. This place went from a 5 to a 1 star sooo fast. I bought a $65 HDMI cable a few days ago (after spending about $4,000 on other stuff) only to realize I had already purchased one - and this purchase always unnecessary. So when I went to return it, I expected a very simple process. Got the exact opposite! HORRIBLE customer service. I didn't have my receipt, which I guess is my bad, but it was a recent purchase on my Apple Card so I could easily show the person what I bought, how much I paid, and when. She would not accept that. So I asked for the manager...he seemed to think the return was not problem but didn't say a word or ask any questions...just started bangin' away on the register keys...then left without a word. After the manager left, the other person says, "since this is a no receipt return I can only give you the lowest price of this time in the last 30 days." What BS -- you could tell exactly what I bought from their store. I could care less about the $7 I was shorted. The whole process was terrible and I would go out of my way to shop somewhere else. A friend was in town from out of the country and LOVES shopping for electronics while he is here! We wanted to show him the Southlake area, thus the reason for shopping at this BB than the one in Irving. Men could spend hours in Best Buy, I do believe. And let me tell you, my husband hates to shop. He is like an entirely different man when he is at an electronic store-pleasant, patient. Just amazing to see the transformation! We were able to find a case for his new Galaxy phone, which was a must since those things are so slippery. It was an accident just begging to happen. We looked through the many bins for any videos his kids might like, and I quickly grabbed the old Willy Wonka dvd. I pretty much guaranteed that his kids would love it, because I do to this very day! We also picked up two of the Honeywell wifi thermostats to install at our house. Walked up to the registered and stood there watching the 4 employees standing at the front door, chatting. No one looking to see if a customer is waiting. I believe it was a manager who then walked up to them and asked who was supposed to be at the registers. A young lady, blond and probably in her early twenties, didn't look too thrilled that she was getting pulled away from her important conversation. She didn't greet me at all, even after I said hello to her. Ok, what a snot. She didn't even look at me until she input my phone number that showed my Best Buy Elite status (in other words, we spend a good amount of money here.) Horrible customer service in Appliances. I purchased a microwave in July and it was not working by November. Four months! Best Buy refused to cover it so I called Samsung and they denied my claim as well because it should be covered by Best Buy as a defective unit. I was sent in an endless circle between the two and I still don't have a functioning microwave for my child with special needs. When I tried to explain again to Best Buy I was treated rudely and told it was MY FAULT for not purchasing the protection plan. #0638 Came into purchase Bose wireless earphones for my hubby. Came across Chance, who helped explain the difference between them and Sony. My husband prefers to use his earphones while at work, yard work or just at home. He explained that Sony had better noise cancellation while not losing music quality and were of course sweat proof. Not for the audiophile, but it's Sony, can't go wrong. Price not being a concern he explained the pros and cons across three different models. His enthusiasm and knowledge pushed us right to the Sony's, plus side them being on sale, he didn't feel the need to push a higher end product, but give us exactly what we asked for. I have been here a handful of times. A couple times to purchase equipment for my business as well as shop and seek advice. Both times, I came up short on experience and the last time on service. When I filled out my tax exempt form, I had at least 4 to 5 people scrambling for paperwork and the person that knew how to process a tax exempt form just so happen to be waddling around the customer service counter smacking her gum. The last time i went in, which was a couple weeks ago. I wanted to buy an iPad case. I understand about the minimalist selection. Many retailers like to put a lot of stuff online but doesn't mean they will have it in their stores. I tried to get help, made eye contact with half a dozen specialists and needless to say they didn't care. No one bothered to greet me and the loss prevention guy up front mindlessly stared at each female that walked in the door and quickly greeted them. I use this location as a last resort. Otherwise, I wouldn't bother. The girls behind customer service love yapping with each other and the place feels more like a frat house than a business. *sigh* read more

Just upgraded my cell phone, which was long overdue. Checked at the Verizon store and wasn't feeling it. Couple days later went to Best Buy, where they had $300 off Samsung phones! They also had unlocked phones! With 3 accessories, they were 25% off so I got an Otterbox Defender, screen protector, and additional charger to boot. I can't say enough good things about Alex, the rep who helped me. He knew Samsung, he knew Verizon's billing and he knew the process to make it all happen pain-free even though there were a couple of curveballs in my antique phone and apps. I have been to Best Buy a total of 4 times in my entire life. I held on to the same $350 TOSHIBA laptop for 7 years because it never gave me an issue, and still works to this day. It doesn't have an HDMI port, so I was forced to buy a new one that would be compatible with my new monitor. This is the worst Best Buy I've ever been to. I was there FOUR times in one week, trying to solve a problem with my laptop. I purchased a new Samsung laptop from Best Buy a little less than two years ago, and had a three year warranty on that laptop. I called on Monday and scheduled an appointment for the following day. The woman on the phone did NOT inform me that I needed to bring a new battery with me if I wanted the Geek Squad to repair my laptop's battery. So, when I showed up on Tuesday, the Geek Squad member sent me off to a Battery Store to go buy one. She said; "I'll keep you appointment open so when you return we can fix it." Well, that battery store sold CAR BATTERIES. I was unable to purchase a new laptop battery. So, I decided instead to get a brand new laptop since I wanted a smaller one anyway with better specs. (I am an architecture student who uses AutoCAD and Revit, which are demanding on a laptop.) On Wednesday morning, the following day, I showed up to 1. Purchase a new laptop, and 2. Schedule an appointment for a data transfer from the old laptop, as well as a 3. Dropoff so they could send the old broken laptop to their Service Hub in Kansas. I told the man, I am out of town the next couple of days but I will be back Friday. I need an appointment for Friday. HE SCHEDULED ONE FOR WEDNESDAY NIGHT?!?!? I was in Oklahoma by that time. So, today, on Black Friday, I show up again to ask them face-to-face why the hell this whole week has been impossible? And whether they can do a data transfer before Sunday? Because I fly out on Sunday morning. I will NOT BE IN TEXAS ANYMORE. This Geek Squad woman looks at me dead in the face and says "yeah we can do a data transfer! It'll be done on Monday :D!" ....what? I just said I fly out on Sunday morning. So now, I have to FLY OUT OF DFW WITH TWO LAPTOPS IN MY DUFFEL BAG and go back to my hometown and do a data transfer at that local Best Buy; BECAUSE I ALREADY PAID THEM TO DO THE TRANSFER!!!! We ordered an expensive refrigerator to fit in for a built in fridge for a house we're selling .. they came out measured incorrectly.. brought the wrong fridge.. way to small.. said they'd let us know when the correct one came in and to keep this one until then.. 6 months later and calling at LEAST once a week to the department and still have not received the new fridge!! Now that we said forget it and give us our money back and take this one back.. they said no that we've had it to long!!! It was over $7 thousand dollars!!!!!!!! My husband is in a wheelchair.. we have to hire people for this stuff.. he has gone through customer service and talked to the store manager!! They are totally taking advantage of him.. to the point we have to get an attorney involved it looks like!!!! How this is on us is beyond me!!!! I was talking to a young associate named Ted. He happens to be my neighbor so I was pleased to see him. I was quickly surprised to see someone in my grade working such a professional job. Soon after talking to him, he offered to take my money to buy my product in order to get an employee discount. I didn't think this was up to company policy but I did it anyway. Shortly after I gave him the money he did not buy my product for me and denied that such happened. Before I was able to talk to a manager he threatened to call the police so I was forced to leave. I tried to report this to corporate but was not successful as they did not ever get in contact with me. In early July ordered an entire kitchen set of appliances. Was told they could be installed within a certain period of time and set an appointment. I didn't need to pick up one of my appliances early for the contractors to do some work and found out that that previous appointment had to be changed for some reason. I updated it to a new date but no one in the store can find that appointment time set. After many many phone calls come to find out they may not even get the appliances in the first week of September and are blaming it on a manufacturer shortage even though we were told they would be available well before this time. We are now in a home without any appliances to cook, refrigerate, or clean with. This is very disappointing and I will likely cancel my entire $10,000 plus order. A friend of mine (she does not know I'm writing this as she doesn't like doing things like this) has had 2 bad experiences with 2 different Best Buy locations, one in Hurst and the other in Grapevine. She purchased a refrigerator from the 1st location, and it turned out to be the wrong size with incorrect measurement from 2 different people. It was returned and she got credited. The second location in Grapevine delivered her correct size last week and I witnessed the messiest, sloppiest job ever. I didn't say anything as it was not up to me. She was very nice to them in spite of this. Secondly, they did not even level the refrigerator and she didn't notice this until after they left. She has important personal issues going on and I felt led to voice my opinion without being a busy body. She is going to have someone level her frig not from the store. I called this location and it's impossible to get anyone and when you do, they put you on hold. Finally, the person I got hold of and summarized the issue, tells me he's a "corporate employee" and not a "business employee". I hung up on him out of frustration. I went to customer service recently to ask that an item I bought three months and two days ago be credited and charged to a different card. The manager was not interested in helping me. So I pull up for curbside pick up and I receive everything but my iPad. I ask about it and the employee goes back inside to investigate the where about's of the iPad. She returns and tells me that it looks like they had sold it from under me. I was more disappointed than anything. Having a rough year, I wanted to buy myself something nice for a early Christmas gift and now It was gone. So she suggested that I could speak with the manager of the store and maybe he could give me a raincheck for when they get more in stock... so I went inside and I waited at least 35 mins for the Manager and they never showed up.
