I want to recommend 911Computer Repair Inc. My Vaio laptop was shutting down 5-10 seconds as it was booting up. YouTube videos told me it was a fuse. I checked with multiple companies and I couldn't find anyone that would solder a fuse - most companies are only software and don't solder. Luckily I saw someone recommend 911 Computer Repair Inc in Bedford. (817-684-0090) I called in and the owner was available and told me they do solder. They have a $30 diagnostic fee, although I didn't get this charge so I guess it applies to the bill? Under 1hr later, I get a call my charge will be $60 for materials and labor and I approved and it was done in under 1hr - excellent! They are located at 2101 Bedford Rd, Ste F, Bedford, TX 76021. This place is unbearable. They offer super low prices and then resell things for extremely high prices. Most of the computers in the shop are over 7 years old and they price them well over 100 dollars. They are frequently closed when their business hours say otherwise causing me lots of gas money. I had an older laptop that needed work. I initially took it to PC help but they were total a-holes and charged way too much. Thank You for your response. As far as honest, you were honest on somethings. For example, you did say you would charge $75 to replace the screen and would try your best not to crack the LCD. You never said "with possibility of it not looking good." Yes, you gave me two options on how to go about fixing my iPad, but you assured me that it could be fixed no matter which option I chose. You seemed confident you could do the replacement so I trusted you. I left my iPad in your hands, I called back a week later and you said it was not ready because you had to order parts. I waited another week and came in to the store to pick it up. You explained you hadn't glued it yet and if I wanted it done or not. I asked what you thought was best and you said you'd put the glue but would charge me $100. I said ok, and you proceeded to put the glue and even asked me to help you hold some special light. After, I examined the iPad and explained that it had a small bright spot and I did not like that the home button did not work correctly and that the lock button was not locking the iPad. You opened the iPad and examined it. You said you'll drop the price to $70. I told you I couldn't accept that and if you can fix it because it wasn't like that before. You agreed and kept my iPad another week. Now at this point, you've had my iPad for three weeks. When I returned the first thing you said was "well we might have to replace the whole screen." When you showed me the iPad there were larger bright spots on it and you were unable to fix the lock and home button. You said the bright spots were oils and the home button was suppose to be that way and that you have to hold down the lock button tight. I asked you if you'd buy it from me and you asked how much and I said $180? You laughed at me and said you could do $30 and that you would have to fix it because you couldn't sell it like that to a customer. But I was a customer, and you were willing to sell it to me looking like that? You then said you could replace the whole thing for $180 and it would look brand new. I called my husband right in front of you to ask him what he wanted to do. And my husband mentioned that at this point you couldn't even fix the home button and yet you've had my iPad for three weeks now, how can we trust you to make it look brand new? I didn't want to pay for that quality of work. I just wanted to just grab my iPad and walk out. But you probably would've called the cops. And I'm just not a confrontational person. So I paid you instead of arguing. I went home and I couldn't sleep because I could not believe I didn't just stick up for myself and argue with you that I didn't want to accept that. I even wrote you privately to your email from your website, to which you did not respond. I finally decided I would go back to your store to dispute the charge. I asked you if you were proud of your work on my iPad and you said "no". You admitted that it was a "bad job" so thank you for your honesty. We argued for a good 20 mins and you finally asked me what would make me happy. I said a full refund and you gave me a look like I was dumb for asking that. I then said half a refund. So yes, you're right I did receive a $40 refund. After I got my iPad back I took it to another repair shop. And I was told exactly what you did wrong.... 1. The LCD was aligned wrong. So it could not fit on correctly, hence why the home button did not work. 2. You didn't let the loca (liquid glue) dry 3. Left watermarks and air bubbles 4. Loca glue was leaking on to the main board 5. The lock button was missing a wire that seemed to have been cut off when you opened the iPad. As for the picture I posted in my review, it doesn't matter what angle, full colors or not you will always see the bright spot marks. It looked worse than when it was cracked. Now if you would like pictures with better angles and full colors I will be happy to post them for you. The other shop still has the screen and they were just as shocked when they saw the work done that was done to my iPad. This was a completely BOTCHED JOB. So please don't "feel bad" for me as I now have a nice new iPad screen done by Apple Professionals. read more

I took my daughter's Dell desktop computer tower into the store last week because it would no longer turn on after a cross-country move. I was immediately greeted with the owner's (Jamal) friendly smile. He was very confident that it would be an easy fix so I left it there with him and approx. 1 day later he gave me a call and said that the computer was ready to be picked up! I picked it up, and he was so friendly as to even carry the heavy tower to the trunk of my car. His prices are super affordable and reasonable, and he was truly a nice guy. I got home and the computer works as new! He fixed it as promised, and now my daughter is happy to have her computer back. Took my Dell laptop in to have the power jack replaced. It would only worked plugged in but at a slower rate and the battery would not charge. I have never had any computer issues that I needed a repair for so I had no idea where to go. Looked on Yelp and these guys only had 2 reviews but one of them was for the exact problem I was having and they got 5 stars. That was enough for me. Took my laptop to the store and he said it would be ready that day. Came back the next day and he said it would be longer because the part had to be ordered. It took a week but my laptop works and the battery charges! Employees in the store and on the phone were pleasant. I would definitely take my laptop back to 911 Computer repair! read more

Good Service! Good Price! My laptop power plug broke and my computer would not accept power from the power cord. I called several local computer repair companies and got prices. 911 Computer Repair had the best price. I was a little hesitant to take my computer there at first because there were no reviews on Yelp and their website is very dated. However, I decided to visit the shop, find out some information, and see if I felt comfortable leaving my computer there. I believe the person I talked to was the owner of the business. He was very nice and seemed to know what he was talking about. He pretty much told me what the other computer repair places told me about what he had to do to fix my computer. I left my computer with him and he called me about four hours later to tell me what he found, and the exact price to fix it. My computer was ready the next morning. My experience with 911 Computer Repair was good. If you need your computer repaired, I would recommend to at least go by and talk to them. read more

Their work is sub-par, rushed and sloppy and way over-charged for. Lying comes easily to them; and their facial expressions are those of open hatred, even though they don't know me as a person at all. EVERY piece of hardware that our company has purchased from them has failed within days to weeks of purchase, and then they want to try to charge us for repairing them which is just bad business.
