They have always been professional and have always gone the extra mile to be helpful. I purchased a new computer from them a few years ago (after my 10 year old computer finally died). I've used Computer Repair for a few years. Tom is the best! My PC quit working last week, and I was anxious, thinking about losing everything on the hard drive. Tom opened it, and my hard drive was cracked, yet he was able to get my information off that drive, plus an older hard drive, and fixed everything! My Lenovo 430T crashed. Probably the recent thunder storm. I am usually pretty good recovering from such disasters but beyond me when the mother board is hit. My fear was all my files were lost. I never had much luck with computer repair shops. Arlington Computer Care seemed worth a try. The guys there were immediately very professional and helpful, gaining my confidence right away. No surprise the old pc was not salvagable but the data could be salvaged. I was ready for a better computer anyway so I rushed over to Best Buy. The guys at Arlington Computer delivered more than promised, always a good thing. A bit over 24 hours later I plugged in my new pc setup, turned it on. Wallah! It's like nothing bad ever happened. Sorry for putting up the review so late, but I had a lot of things to do on my side. Thank you Chris for helping out with my day stop computer repair on my Hp Envy x360. Because I was in the area for a day and didn't know my hard drive just basically decided to die that day I had to act quickly and find the nearest computer store in the area. Because I was staying with family on my last day in TX I had extra time to spend. So I decided to boot up my laptop. I had a blue screen and I knew I was in the worse possible situation. Long story short, even though Chris had other orders ahead of mine he took it out of his way to help me even though he didn't have to. It took him a full 6 to 8 hours just to do a quick job on my laptop and help install Windows 10 and a new SSD on my laptop. Even though it was a quick job and not all my files and drivers are back on the new SSD. For an emergency type of work, it was exceptional. If I have more computer problems and needed extra work like maybe putting my windows OS on my optane ssd I'll definitely go back to Arlington Computer Care. For a quick job and for a last minute notice and dropping out of the blue, Chris is an angel of the computer repair world. Thank you once again. read more

When I built my pc, it was an abomination of problems. A different thing every time. Programs crashing, blue screens, and not being able to click on anything. With the many problems it had, I thought the problem would be difficult but it turned out I already had the spare parts to fix it at home. I brought in my laptop due to a self diagnosed motherboard failure. Customer service was great, the associate helping me was very knowledgeable and polite. My only issue is that they refused to replace the motherboard (once it was confirmed the motherboard was the issue) even when I okayed the risk of potentially not obtaining a perfect match for my laptop. It's understood that, especially on older laptops, finding a new replacement motherboard is difficult, and it's very possible that even if you find one it still may not work. However if I'm ok'ing that possibility and even offering to find one myself for the technician to install and you still won't take my money your doing your customer and your business a disservice. If replacing the motherboard is such a liability why not fully explain this liability to the customer and ask them to sign a waiver to avoid any legal issues or whatever is it your seeking to avoid. Maybe they don't know how to replace motherboards you say? I thought that too until the employee told me they know how but just don't. So In conclusion if you have motherboard failure it would be worth your time to look somewhere else. read more

I'm a bookkeeper and January is a very busy time for me. I shut down my computer on a Friday afternoon to update my server. Server updated and turned back on, but my desktop computer did not. I had purchased my Dell T1500 back in 2009, so I had great use of this computer to which I had recently upgraded the memory and installed a bigger hard drive (2 TB). So when my precious workhorse computer did not power on Friday afternoon, I immediately ordered another computer from Dell; however, the wait time was about 3 weeks. I couldn't work off a laptop for 3 weeks. So I decided to try and figure out what was wrong with my precious computer and googled Dell Repair. The first name that popped up was Computer Care and they were local. I called on Monday morning at 9:01 am and spoke to a gentleman there who told me to come on in with the computer and they would take a look at it. I dropped it off by 10:30 and waited......... Around 3:00 on Monday I called to see what was up and they said my motherboard was "toast" and not worth replacing. They did suggest an alternative of purchasing another T1500. They said there were a few on Ebay for about $100 and since the Bios was the same I could swap my hard drive, memory and video cards to a different computer with the same Bios. I couldn't find one on Ebay, but I was able to track down a local seller on Amazon north of Dallas who delivered a refurbished T1500 Tuesday morning. I then went back over to Computer Care and they switched out the hard drive, memory and video cards. By 5:00 pm Tuesday, I walked into my home office, plugged in my computer and was giddy as a school girl when my computer booted up without any issues. ' I'm so grateful I took a leap of faith on the unknown and brought my computer to them. I appreciate their candor and the time they took to explain what was going on. Special thanks to Tony for taking oh so much of his time in communicating with me and providing me with a solution to get up and running until I could replace the equipment with new. The fee was EXTREMELY REASONABLE! The personnel was extremely nice and helpful. I will recommend to EVERYONE! Thank you guys. You're lifesavers! This experience truly exceeded my expectations to which I'm extremely grateful! read more

This Computer Care shop is extraordinary, both in their superb technical support and outstanding customer service. Chase, my technician, was able to resolve my desktop (an old HP) PC and mouse connectivity problem, even though it turned out be a rare issue. From drop-off to my pick-up, he went above and beyond by providing small functional enhancements and by researching newer "tower" models, all as part of the normal (reasonable) charge! He even followed up with a phone call the same day, to make sure that everiything worked in sync, within my home office environment. I will use their service again and again. I have to say that my expectations at ANY repair shop is never to be "impressed" but this experience was well below what I would even call "satisfied." The initial associate I spoke with had a very arrogant and condescending manor & promised a call with a quote in a couple of days - when I CALLED THEM a few days after - the "work" had already done - no estimate. Problems persisted and a new associate tries to help, basically says it was misdiagnosed & to bring it back into the shop. "couple of days tops" was my est. turn around time and a WEEK later I CALLED the shop yet again to find out it has more issues than thought. Appointments aren't kept, communication and follow through do not exist and then you get spoken to in a very arrogant and snotty manner by someone who has zero customer service skills. My advice - go somewhere else. read more
