The worst customer service ever! Due to COVID Apple customer service recommended few locations to fix my phone screen. Called on Saturday for appointment, they sad they do not fix screen on Saturday, came in Monday - they sad sister is down , came in Tuesday- to busy , came in Wednesday- they want me leave phone over night . Bunch of lazy unprofessional crooks . When I was leaving Tuesday I talked to the unhappy customer of their saying they did not fix anything but charge him a lot of money. I can't believe how unreliable these guys are. They will waste your time this place is fraud and rip off. They charge $300 for the glass. However, they stated that I had to leave it for two hours because they had others to fix. So I said I'll be back in two hours with my phone they said oh no it takes about an hour and a half. I came back they haven't even started to work on it and told me to come back the next day. I came the next day and they tried this again. Stay away from these guys save money and time. read more

I really enjoyed my experience with them! I had a hard drive/start up problem with my MacBook Pro and I was lucky to remember about seeing this place in my area. I was going to make an appointment with the Genius Bar at an Apple Store (the closest one being 45+ min away from me), but there wasn't any available appointments until another week! I really needed some data on my laptop too. When I walked in, I was quickly checked in and the receptionist let me know I'll receive update calls within the next couple business days. I ended up getting a call just a couple hours later and it was all fixed! It was also free of charge b/c of my warranty that I didn't even know about considering I've had the laptop for 3 years now. One thing that kind of bugged me was that we had to sign an agreement to pay a fee of $99 if we decide not to let them repair our stuff after we hear the quote. Kind of $99 for them to take a look at it? However, I think this is just to urge you to go ahead and get the repair anyways. It made sense for the business. I probably would've paid the repair fee to begin with though because it seemed worthy. Anyways, I'm definitely going to recommend them to my friends and family! And I'll be a returning customer (hopefully not) if I have any more problems with my computer. read more

My Mac-Mini would not cut on, so I took it to the Apple Store, and they told me that I needed to replace the logic board. The parts alone was $394, and the labor was gonna be steep. I hit up ole-reliable (aka Yelp) and found Hardin computer repair. They had good reviews, so I tried them out. To make a long story short, they fixed my computer for $94! The place is very clean and spacious and my phone works great! I really don't understand how this place has such great reviews and is deemed inexpensive. Every time I have a computer issue the Apple store refers me to Hardin because it is much closer to me and it is a less busy certified repair shop that supposedly has parts, but every time I try to use them they try to gouge me to get something simple done. I am not exactly a computer novice and usually know what I am doing when I upgrade or fix my own machine but unfortunately when I need parts getting them locally always proves basically impossible. Every time I end up having to search eBay which is ridiculous. I live in the middle of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex so you would think such a nexus of major cities would be easy to get what I need but no. There are not enough Apple stores in this area, they never have the parts I need and Hardin Computer is greedy AF. Hardin always claims to have the parts but refuses to check until my computer is in their possession and on top of that refuses to sell me parts without charging labor diagnostic fees even when I already know what the problem is with my machine and don't need diagnosis. They love to tell me how I'm probably wrong because I don't repair computers for a living. If I'm willing to take the risk of being wrong why should that stop them from selling me the part I am prepared to buy? I haven't been wrong yet. Just today I called to buy a space bar because mine has been used so much that it is worn down in the middle. It still works and I can replace it myself but just to buy the key Hardin wanted $29.99. I can buy a whole brand new replacement keyboard for $22 including shipping on eBay. I could even get the space bar itself shipped all the way from Ireland for $10! The key literally just pops off so it is super simple to replace but for their 2 seconds of time they refused to lower the price even when I said I would do it myself and just wanted to buy the key. This is not the first time I have attempted to use Hardin for repairs only to find them useless. When my hard drive failed a few years ago they acted just like a horrible car mechanic shop trying to pressure me into bringing my machine in right away so they could collect their something like $99 diagnostic fee. They have never once believed me when I tell them what is wrong and always say it is necessary for me to pay to verify the actual issue even if I don't have them do the work. Also I'd be without my computer for days until they got around to it. I hate shops that take your property and then force you to either pay to get it back unfixed or essentially make you have them do all the work so they can charge you top dollar for everything. They wanted hundreds of dollars in addition to the cost of the part just to install the new SSD I bought which is a very simple job that takes like 15 minutes if that and involves literally just unscrewing and re-screwing a handful of screws and unplugging the old one to plug in the new one. Same thing goes for the RAM upgrade I needed which they also wanted way too much to replace. They are essentially why I have learned to fix my own computer because over the years they have always proved too outrageous to use. In their defense they are easy to get on the phone and perfectly nice about telling you up front their horrible policies so for that I give a star above the worst possible rating but this shop is unacceptable unless you like being unnecessarily sans computer for days and paying through the nose for simple repairs. read more

The screen to my mac book went out just after my warranty. I took it to Apple and they told me I'd have to get a whole new monitor which would cost almost as much as buying a new computer. Lifesaver! let me tell you..a year ago my iMac went out .I was really sad because I did not back up my hard drive and all my families pictures and videos from our life abroad was on the computer.
