Jose is a Horrible manager. Management sucks here. I usually always go here to fix my phone screen, but recently 2.1.2024 I had the most horrible experience here. I went to get my broken front screen fixed. I waited 30 minutes and returned to pick it up. Usually they ask for my passcode number to check and make sure the screen works, but when I tried to give Jesus the code he said it wasn't necessary. I payed $97.43 for my iPhone 11. I went home and noticed right away that my screen wasn't working properly. It worked for the most part but would sometimes not sense my fingers to use my screen to where I have to keep locking and unlocking my screen. I was told that I had 30 days warranty unless cracked then they would not service to fix it. I returned less than a week to fix my screen to get it to work again, but the guy there went to find a way not to fix my screen. The manager never came out to talk to me personally and hid in the back. Jose the manager apparently told him not to service my screen due to little wear and tear tiny small scratches which should not affect the screen from working at all. I notified the lazy guy that it wasn't working the same day I took it home. He said to take it home and return if it still wasn't working because he "supposably" opened it up but there was nothing wrong which was a lie. I returned 2 days later and Jesus said he would take care of it since he was originally the one who had put on my screen. The lazy guy who doesn't work at all came in and told Jesus not to fix my screen and called his manager again who told him to charge me $70 so they can replace the whole screen that they put on which was defective from the beginning. That was literally my only option they gave me because they weren't going to open it up again to simply get the same screen to work. I didn't want a new screen. I simply wanted them to keep the same one on and just open it up to fix whatever was left loose or the reason to why my screen wasn't sensing my fingers. He told me to come back again the next day for the 4th time and 4th day because the manager would be there so I could talk to him about fixing my phone as if I have all the time in the world to keep coming back to get the same answer over and over. That's just lazy and careless of the manager. They could of literally just opened up my phone to fix the issue and been on my way. Jose is a horrible manager. Please make sure to check your phones immediately in front of them after repair if you come here so this doesn't happen to you. I will never return here again. I have been coming here since 2014. They used to be the best llace to go for phone repairs. I have spend a couple of grand in the last years with them on phones and work. This time i had enough. The latest mabager is a sack-o-crap. He has zero customer service and will crap on customers for profit. We had my son's phone repaired. They replaced his screen a couple of weeks ago. Right that evening i went out of town. They damaged my son's phone during the repair. Their inexpirenced techs shortes the battery during the screen replacement. I told them this was the 3 time this has happened with them and this time i was expecting them to foot the bill. Tbey said they would only offer a discount. So lets get this straight. You install a new acreen on my son's phone and shortes the battery because since you touched it it has never worked again and you want me to oay for your screw up? Yea.. This place did me so wrong I asked for the owner there is no owner and everybody is a manager over there but they cannot make a decision they keep calling people on the phone the point is I had my phone fixed the next day I go back up there and told him there was a black spot on my screen not even 24 hours later they refused to fix my phone and said buy another screen but it comes with a 30 day warranty the screen was peeling off the phone itself they are rude to you in a nice way I remember when this place first opened up they had very good customer service I knew the owners and they were always willing to help I have fixed numerous phones at that place but obviously the new owner does not give a damn I do not recommend this place read more

My screen was completely shattered but they were able to get me in and out within 45 minutes- the female who helped me was extremely courteous and explained it's usually a 15 minute job but that my phone had never been worked on before so it was a little more difficult to get all the pieces out. I used to go to a place in North Richland Hills who only charged $45 but I didn't have the time to make that drive today. The only downfall was being charged $75 for the exact same job-- id definitely go back again though if I'm ever in the same predicament. read more

After being a safe iPhone owner, I finally dropped my phone (5s) on the concrete today at 7:30am. I Yelped some places around me to check out once I got off work and chose this place based on reviews. There was someone ahead of me, but the wait time to actually fix my phone was approximated at 20 minutes. When I went to pick up the phone, I didn't think it was mine! It looked brand spanking new! Maybe fixing glass is easier than it seems, but I'm no expert. It only cost $65 ($70 after taxes.) Some places I researched were charging $89+ ...so I'd rather pay less! read more

I had an iPad screen replaced for my daughter here and they put in a defective screen. I called them and they said it would be no problem to fix, but when I brought it in, they told me it had been more than 14 days and that they only warrantied work for 14 days. I told them that it didn't say that anywhere in their store or on their receipt and they told me that that was the policy and take it or leave it. They did offer to fix it for half price so I told them to go ahead. When I picked it up, the next day, I told them that I would pay the half price now but that I was planning to dispute the original charge bc why should I pay twice for a defective product especially when they were just going to send it back for a refund from the manufacturer. She told me that they wouldn't be doing that bc their technician broke the screen when he took it out, like that is my problem. I have disputed the charge now and they ended up losing money on the transaction, plus any future business from me. What a dumb way to go about business. read more

One of my few 5 star reviews. iPhone 6 plus emergency. I took a fall while running. My phone was in my hand and went into a flat smash on the concrete sidewalk, keeping my right hand from being scraped up, but shattering the iPhone screen and destroying the protective case. Found Fast,Friendly on Yelp with great reviews and I ran over there at 0930 on a Monday morning. I was greeted by knowledgeable staff who took my phone and did the entire, professional job right in front of me. Clearly the gentleman tech knew what he was doing, and about 20 minutes later I walked out with a repaired-like-new phone! That was easy! The iPhone 6 plus screen repair prices are coming down in price (I was told by a competitor), but they still aren't cheap -$199, a pretty standard cost right now. I purchased a new glass screen protector, too, and though I wanted to purchase an Otter Box case, they didn't have a color I wanted. They did have tons of other cases, though. I have Iphone 4s. I dropped it twice both front and back of my iPhone cracked really bad. First I made an appointment with apple genius bar reservation and expert told me they cant fix this and its of no use. Later I find Fast and Friendly Repairs in Yelp just wanted to give a try. I just walk in they fixed my phone in less than 20 min for 70$. It now looks like a new phone. I really liked the service. This cannot possibly be a legitimate business. I took an iPod in to have the battery replaced. There was no order and no one seemed to even know how to write up a repair ticket. I waited almost a month and it still wasn't ready. When I complained they said it would be ready the next day. I went in and again total confusion as the girl digs around in boxes and couldn't even find it. She finally locates it and didn't know if they had done the work or not. A complete joke. She finally decides they didn't have anyone that could install the battery after this one month charade. I don't know what these people actually do but do not take anything there to be fixed. They fixed my iphone 5 screen in 10 minutes for $65+tax. I had called several other places and found them to be the cheapest around.

I brought my phone for a screen repair because the screen popped out. Many months later the screen popped out and did not function which tells me the underlying problem was not fixed. I brought it back to see if they could do anything about it and I they said I would have to pay the full price to fix it again. TERRIBLE i have taken 2 ipads both with broken screens and were very expensive and both ipad screens shattered in under 2 months. So I went to the one in Arlington off Abrams Saturday to get a very small crack in my iPhone screen fixed. Never use them. It's a waste of money. I found out that they don't use the same gorilla glass as iPhone manufacturers. Their glass breaks MUCH MUCH easier OR they gave you a defective screen. I had to go back and use my 15 day warranty Sunday, because the touch screen wasn't working after they fixed it. So they replaced the screen again. But of course their 15 day warranty does not apply when the cheap glass breaks 5 days later, but they can offer me a $30 discount so I only have to pay $120 this time. Fast and friendly is a very accurate name! Got my iPhone 6 screen repaired, though there were some issues. Card reader declined my card, and my card is definitely fine. And it didn't work quite right after the first repair, but he swiped out another new screen for me really quickly and it works great. Only issue is that my cheek sometimes presses against the mute button during calls now. Overall I would recommend them, they're really personable and want to help you out. read more

I went there to get my iPhone 4s screen replaced and bought headphones Within two days the screen became discolored and the headphones were horrible quality. I went back after the weekend and was met with attitude for asking for a replacement screen and was not allowed an exchange for the headphones. First of all, this place is neither Fast nor Friendly. When I visited the place to get my IPhone 5 headphone jack repaired, they charged me $48 and when they gave it to me the external speakers didn't work. So, they took it apart again, and this time the headphones and speakers worked. BUT, let me say that the two gals who worked on my phone had no "training" of any kind, they were both in their early 20s, and I don't think they had a CLUE about what they were trying to FIX- all they did was start replacing parts- that isn't trying to figure out the problem!!! SO, I get my phone home, and it WON"T TAKE A CHARGE!!!! Back again the next morning, and they"tried" again to fix it, but they couldn't FIGURE IT OUT and said I could take it somewhere else. So I did, and FIX it FASTon Green Oaks fixed my phone- it works perfect now. I wouldn't send my worst enemy here for phone repair- well, OK, maybe I would as what you can expect from this business is lousy customer service, shoddy work, and a "We don't care" attitude. I'll never go there, and will tell all my friends to stay away also. Maybe other businesses can exist doing this, but I hope these folks fall flat on their face and go out of business! I went to get my iPhone screen repaired after telling me to go back 2 hrs they told me to go back the next day they were avoiding telling me that they lost my phone they're irresponsible won't take care of your stuff especially when a phone has alot of important info. DO NOT GO HERE!!!! The manager said he would replace it but I still had to pay for a phone screen repair that didn't even happen. Awesome service and repair time.

This place has been my go to place and I've been a loyal customer and had recently given it 5 stars. I've been here multiple times and when my mom needed a new screen on her iPhone I sent her here saying that "they'd take care of her." Well she went in and after the new screen was applied she was a little hesitant taking it back saying it looked "slightly wavy at the top" and the guy reassured her that that was "normal, and that's how they all look." Well when she got home she noticed that the screen was cracked all the way across the top and that the icons behind it were shadowed out. She called them up that evening about it, but couldn't make it back up there until the next morning. When she went back up there, they charged her the full price for another screen minus $25 dollars to "help her out." So in total my mother paid $189.50. $105 for the first screen and $84.50 for replacing the broken screen they put on with a new screen. I'll no longer send anyone here, I think this place is shady, they don't do good business, don't take care of their customers and take advantage of old woman. Thank you. I won't be back. They fixed my screen fast enough and price wise wasn't to bad but since then my entire screen has been on the fritz: selecting multiple letters/numbers I wasn't even pressing on like someone was holding down the keyboard, opening apps I never selected, plus half the time I couldn't even answer calls because my screen didn't work. I own a iPhone 5s and the screen is fine but it doesn't work. The only time I got it to work is when I rubbed it down on my shorts or a wet rag. Yes they are fast and it looks good but in the long haul it will not last. Go somewhere that might be more expensive but you'll get the quality you need! read more
