My computer crash. Needed it fix right away (work at home) called a few different places and prices vary from 75-129. A1 computers was charging 99 but was the only one that assured me that my computer would be fix by days end. He kept his promise and provided excellent service. Better yet he has this tracking system (similar to tracking ups and fed ex packages) where it updates you on the progress with your computer. Which gives you a idea if there was any additional problems or if everything is running smoothly. Loved it!! Hopefully I don't ever have anymore computer problems but if I ever do I know where to go. Ready artwork was having serious issues with the Company Phones. We were helped remotely and A1 Computers was very honest and helpful .

Am astounded at the lack of service I've received from A1. I am starting to question how it is possible that all the yelp reviews are 5 star. Is it possible that this is a business has bought into i.e. pays Yelp for positive reviews and the ONLY reviews shown are positive? Not just ok, glowingly positive-a bit suspicious. When I was looking for someone to work on my computer I obtained what I thought were competitve bids. I chose A1 as they were mid-range. When my invoice came through, they were well above the top range. The reason for this was instead of getting the 240 GB hard drive that I had requested they obtained a 480GB. They also told me they believed the older OSZ was the way to go and did not believe the new Toshiba OSZ were a good product. I then confirmed which OSZ did they get-Kaleb told me they had to really search for a non-toshiba What did they get? A Toshiba-How do i know?-the box says so!! I asked if this was a mid range or a budget hard drive? Kayleb said it definitely was a mid range and not budget.. Reviews indicate this hard drive is budget, In addition, I went to a computer store and confirmed it was budged. When I picked up my computer I was told there was a problem in backing up the hard drive. When I was ready to back up, I just needed to try a few times. I've tried 15 times-is that enough? won't back it up. I have placed 5 calls 2 on Tuesday, 2 on Saturday, 1 on Wednesday. I have driven by their shop and I haven't had my computer but their storefront has been open. In addition to getting the wrong harddrive-more expensive larger GB, toshiba and budget. Which is not backing up. Is sloppy business. They were to requested to run a diagnostic & clean the inside of the computer (as it was running hot). They did not provide a back-up diagnostic of which I wanted evidence so I coul d have a baseline of the status of the computer. They kept the computer for another day, so they could provide the back up. After another day they still could NOT provide the diagnostic back-up. Made me wonder if it was ever done the first time. As I knew I needed a new battery. Yet the first diagnostic I was told showed everything was fine-It was not!! In addition, they said the computer was dirty but now clean. Any confidence I had in this every friendly Kayleb of A1 Computer has been TOTALLY ERRODED. I chose to go to a Apple technition to have a a new battery put in and they cleaned out the computer that had been supposedly just cleaned by A-1 the week before. So in essence, out of the 3 jobs requested, only 1 was done. And half *(&%$#'d at that. A budget hard drive was inserted and I was told that wasn't the case. In addition, I understand companies will have mark-ups-totally ok with that but Is 100% mark-up the industry standard? I would just take heed when finding a company or technition to do work, to really carefully consider if A-1 is who you want working on on your computer. One that does not have the courtesy to call you back or stand by their work. I feel forced to have left this obviously COMPLETELY DISASTISFIED Yelp Review. As I could not get a response back within the warranty period. I would go use DYNO on foothill if you want to receive or feel as if a professional has worked on your Mac. Very very dissapointed!!!!! Lets see how they deal with rectifying this situation Friendly but unresponsive and uneffective! Forgot to mention, my computer NOW sporadically takes 2.5 min to an indefinite time period to start up-Yes that is from changing a SATA to an SSD. Lovely!! read more

Kaled is THEEEEEE MAN for your computer repair needs! I came in late and he was very accommodating even though he was on the phone doing some networking techy stuff. my macbook pro was having some charging issues so took it to A1 computers. Kaled took a look at it, fiddled with it, cleaned the charging area with some solution and just like magic the darn thing started charging just fine. I am home now writing this review as I charge my computer and it seems to be working fine. The reason for my review is that I want to reassure yelpers that this guy is really honest. He could've said he had to keep it, take it apart, change something and who knows I could've walked out of there paying an arm and a leg for something that was truly minor. He's so awesome he didn't even charge me for the "repair". He took time out of his busy schedule and put someone on hold just to help me and that is priceless. Had an audio issue with my newly purchased laptop for what seemed like a software problem. After many failed attempts to solve it on my own I called A1 for assistance and the guy fixed it for me, walked me through the process entirely over the phone, and free of charge.
