Well, I had reservations about this tech support center when we first visited. However, hubby thought we should try them out anyway. The service: the support guys seems to try to be very communicative. However, often times information provided to you may seem contradictory or confusing. You may have several different people reaching out to you that you don't know providing updates and information on your device with private information. The price: I'm not sure what the going rate is for a charge, battery, or DC jack, but I paid I over $400. I felt like I was bamboozled a lil bit. Overall, my laptop was at this shop from about Oct 25, 2022 to Novemeber 23, 2022. If you know that you need a quick fix and this location can do the job quickly, I'd definitely try Tech Support. read more

Brought Mac in for a battery replacement. All in all after being charged for mandatory diagnostics fee of 90$-to which did NOT get credited to final bill, was about 250$ in the end. For a battery replacement. I think thats a little steep. I also had to call them a couple of times to get updates and timelines after not hearing back for a couple of days. Took over a week to complete. Im giving 3 stars instead of less because i think the battery issue is fixed properly and the tech was pleasant and professional. read more

Very simple installation of an SSD, becomes an extremely expensive quote from this place. First, I already knew what the problem was, yet they charged me $89.00 for a "Diagnosis". They then sent me an invoice quote of $504.00, which was broken down to $153.00 for an SSD, $188.00 for OS reinstall, and $125.00 for labor. First, I should never have been charged for a diagnosis. 2nd, I bought a 2TB SSD on Amazon for $97.00. 3rd, cloning an SSD to another SSD is straight forward. 4th, they already charged me for a diagnosis, that should have been put towards any labor costs. I declined the quote, as it was way over what it should have been. The next day, before I went to pick up the computer, I received a call, apologizing that a new guy made an error on the quote. Okay, what would the charges be? $350.00. Declined again, and picked up the computer. Was able to contact Computer Pro Network, and immediately was quoted $100 for the cloning and install of the new SSD. No diagnosis. No bull crap. No gouging. This was exactly what I was told I should expect to pay, by my old contact in California. Should be $100 to $140 for the SSD and $100.00 for install. What a ripoff this place really is. read more

We took several old computers here and Robert was so helpful in getting the old information off for us. I felt they were very reasonable and did an excellent job. Their pricing model is ridiculous and they didn't do what I asked. I wasn't told until I was at the shop that it is ~50$ increase on top of the 100$ diagnostic on non-prebuilt pc's for pretty much everything. I needed a data recovery job on a hardrive and to move the data to a new hardrive. All they ended up doing is reformatting and put a new copy of the OS on my new hardrive, none of my programs were there and now I have to start from scratch to get my configured and installed programs back. It was ~300$ bill by the end of it. Shop around, there are better options even close by. read more

These guys are great! VERY personal, friendly, and helpful. Helped repair liquid damage and replace my battery -- my Macbook with Retina display is a pain to take apart, and they had no problem. We had a little fiasco with the original battery that was shipped, but they were extremely apologetic (even though it wasn't even their fault). If the Apple Store won't repair your computer due to liquid damage, these guys should be your next stop! read more

I took my MacBook Pro in when it was having some weird browser behavior. The tech found the proxy error and malware that was causing it, and also replaced the (very) swollen battery. I was very pleased with the service, and the charming lady at the front counter was also very helpful. read more

Apple technician checked their work and said they installed a faulty hard drive. Paid over $500 dollars to upgrade a Mac book pro and it didn't survive 9 months. They took zero accountability. Arrogant, careless, unethical, scam. There's more one stars to see here and surely more to come. If you think they fixed your computer just give it time. My Macbook Pro stopped working on Sunday, so i went to the apple store to see what the problem was, they told me that they would replace the drive, but not the data. Tech Support to the rescue! - They were able to get my data, and recommended a new backup drive also. Apple store replaced my drive, but Tech Support saved the day! they even made sure that my MBP was set to backup on schedule, so I dont have to worry about this again! read more

I had a similar experience as Jim J. However they did take accountability after they first installed a faulty top case (keyboard and mouse would'nt work). Unfortunately, in the interim troubleshooting, they completely replaced my OS system and I had to re-pay for all the programs that were'nt monthly subscriptions. This would have been fine if that actually fixed the problem. Basically, I still have the problem and I have had my computer in and out of their shop for over 2 months. Not sure they are capable of handling the more complicated problems with a Mac. Either that ,or their OEM suppliers are shady. This place was exactly what my slow laptop needed. So, with two gaming/art teenagers, my personal laptop had ground to a halt. The thing was awful! It was so slow. We couldn't do anything on it. I was certain my teens had downloaded things onto it that were eating up its processing speed. I took the machine in, expecting that they were going to get all the extra programs off the machine. Well, they did that. But they also got to the root of my issue. My statistics softwares don't filter, or buffer out. Graduate school, and this prof wants stata, that one wants gauss, and thank god this one will accept R, my personal favorite. Well, for some reason, these programs just weren't clearing. I don't know, ask them. But I actually needed a whole new harddrive. They had to clear everything out. In the same time period I have crashed two work laptops. And IT at work could never figure out how I could fill up the memory/processing speed on my work machines. These guys could actually figure it out! Makes so much sense. Wish I could take my work lap top to them, but that has to go to our own IT guys who obviously don't know as much as these guys. read more

I was referred here and happy with the service that was provided. Everyone is very courteous and friendly. There a couple of different locations, so when you call, your phone call may be routed to different place from where your computer was at. I contacted Tech Support last year to help coordinate a computer instillation at my Dad's house. I was anxious having to set up this appointment from Illinois. My Dad is 76 years old and I was putting him in a lap top with a docking station and also requested a wireless router for his house. I can not stress how completely happy I am with the quality of their work as well as their kindness and patience working with my Dad. Accidentally took my Mac next door to University Computers for water damage. Had seen good reviews for Tech Support and eyeballed google maps before taking it in. University Computers charged me $50 to diagnose, which could be applied to my bill if it was fixable. Unfortunately it was not, the screen needed to be replaced. It took 2 days for them to tell me that, $700+ was the cost, not worth fixing. So I ordered a new one. I picked up the old one a few days later and having realized my error in stores earlier, went by Tech Support to let them take a look. I had already given up, but Hussain quickly showed me that he could see something on my screen and didn't think the screen needed repair. I left, dropping another $68 to see if they could fix it. Well, in less than 2 hours I got a call back and they had already fixed it. It would have been less than $200 if it weren't for a ribbon replacement that needed to be put in as well, which was definitely not a result of water damage(it was torn). Seems pretty obvious that not only did University misdiagnose and charge me, they also further damaged the computer! You can't tear ribbons without getting into the Mac and it wasn't torn when I arrived. Tech Support replaced a video card and saved me a lot of money, these guys are great. read more

This place is really terrible. I went in for a data recovery on a compromised drive. When I was picking up the drive, I asked if my indesign files had been recovered. They had not, as they had converted all indd files to pdf. They agreed to fix it, and I came back a second time. When I took the disk home, it would not open on my Mac. I brought it in again. They claimed to fix it, again. And I brought it home a third time...and I still can't open it. I paid $250 to have my files scrambled even more, have my drive no longer open on my computer, and to have my time wasted. read more

Outstanding Service! Our 6 year old iMac was overheating. The thermal paste had deteriorated over time. Hussain disassembled the entire computer, cleaned the old thermal paste from CPU and GPU, applied new paste and then reassembled the entire computer. It works great now! TECH SUPPORT IS ABSOLUTELY PHENOMENAL!! I use my computer at home as an MT working full time 40 hrs a week. I absolutely have to have my computer up and running everyday. Absolute panic ensued at the thought of anything going wrong w/ my computer as the only alternative I knew of was Best Buy and they want to keep it 10 days! My sister found Tech Support and told me about this great company and just in the nick of time. About two weeks later, my computer locked up and shut down. I called Tech Support and talked to Margaret. She had my computer up and running and I only missed 1 day of work. The price is extremely reasonable too and they stand by their work.
