I had an unfortunate experience with this person when I needed a repair for my computer. I found…read morehim through Yelp while looking for a local computer repair service, and he contacted me with a quote. I agreed to the terms and paid in advance. Initially, I was supposed to pay only for the replacement part, but when he sent me an invoice for the full amount, I went ahead and paid the entire sum. I specifically pointed out that the invoice did not make clear that the repair service had not yet been performed, and he corrected it. After receiving my payment, however, the problems began. I waited more than a week for the replacement part to arrive. When I contacted him asking about the part and when the repair could be completed, I was told there were family issues and the repair was postponed. After approximately a month of waiting and still having no repair completed, I finally requested a refund. I was then told there had been a death in the family and that he could not refund me because he did not have access to a computer. He promised that I would receive my refund by the end of that week. That was the last I heard from him. I contacted him again the following week attempting to recover my money and received no response. At no point did I receive the replacement part, the repair service, or a refund. I paid in full, my computer was never repaired, and my money was never refunded. This has been an incredibly unpleasant and frustrating experience. I was patient and understanding through multiple delays and explanations, but ultimately I was left without the service I paid for and without my money. I would strongly caution anyone considering doing business with this repair service against paying anything in advance.

Screen repaired and now the phone doesn't worked where it worked before. Cannot hear anyone speaking. So the audio was damaged during their repair. Now I have to bring it back there so they can maybe fix what they b broke or it just goes down hill from there. Assurant offers nothing else. Just keep taking it back. I'm canceling the phone service and insurance as I will not deal with Assurant again. They do not provide adequate service options for what you pay.

DO NOT GET YOUR PHONE FIXED HERE!! I took my iPhone 14 in…read morefor a $25 diagnostic because it wouldn't power on. During this "diagnostic," zach broke my front glass. He claimed "it happens often" and said he'd replace it for free, but I never authorized him to even open the phone to that extent. I had insurance that would have covered a proper repair; I was only there for the diagnostic. By the time I arrived, he had already installed a new battery and a cheap screen without my consent. The craftsmanship is awful: the glass protrudes so far out it doesn't even fit in my case anymore. It's puffing right where the battery is located, why is a brand new battery already swelling? On top of the bad install, they used the cheapest aftermarket screen on the market (it costs $36 ), yet they charge near $200. That is an 82% profit margin for a screen that is barely responsive and looks grey. Their website claims they warranty FAULTY CRAFTSMANSHIP, but zach did everything possible to dodge that warranty. I paid $184 for them to break my phone further and hand me back a device with significantly less value. If you have a high odds of shattering phones during a simple diagnostic, customers should be told that upfront. Don't trust them with your device unless you want it returned in worse condition than when you brought it in. I have included similar experiences below.

The first two I visited didn't even take time to look at it, they just said "your hard drive is broken" and quoted me hundreds of dollars. When I walked into Fix It Planet I was greeted by their friendly staff, then John took 10 minutes to open up my laptop and run some diagnostic tests, turns out the other shops were wrong. They got my computer fixed up in a day, and gave the best customer service possible along the way! I'm never taking a device anywhere else!
