I needed a Notary service for some legal documents, and I needed it fast. My bank informed me that their notary was "full for the entire day." I was furious. I drove to the UPS store, and they were terrific! Took care of my husband and me immediately. We had three different documents that required both of our signatures on each document. We required a color copy of one of the documents. It took about 10 minutes total and the bill was $24. They couldn't have been nicer or more professional. The staff that answered was extremely rude and hung up on me. Today I had something printed at the UPS store. I forwarded an email. I wasn't informed which shows TO UPS store on their printout. No one explained that their store number would appear on the headingofmy letter. When I got home, I realized that and I called right away and they want to charge me additional money to edit or take out their information on the top of my letter or send it back to them as a PDF. No one informed me that this inform would appear on my letter. THEY did not want to correct the problem. They wanted to charge me more money. I always go to this location. I told him it was BS. He hung up on me. I called back. hung on me three times. No one addressed the issue other than wanting to charge me more money to edit remove their heading on my letter. pitiful customer service. I've printed things there numerous times and never had this experience. I certainly did not know that, but since I just so happened to be doing some work inside of Bank of Hawaii, after finishing up the job, I had to ship out a part when I just so happened to notice this UPS Store. Located just next door to the Consolidated Theaters Koko Marina, this particular UPS Store has easy access as there is lots of parking at the Koko Marina Shopping Center. The store is clean, pretty busy (the day I came here), but at least the line moved pretty quickly. Extremely rude and irresponsible ups store with condescending tone, I would recommend using another ups store if you want to use ups service, though I rather use a better shipping services than option we currently have since I have had issues shipping with both usps and ups. They hung up on me, saying because I use pirateship i am not their customer when I am the one paying pirateship to print ups label to use ups which mean I am the one paying ups for their service. Also when my package tracking only shows it was dropped off at the store by me as the customer but no new update after a few days I called them and stop by trying to find out what happened they were not helpful. Not sure if my package will ever show up and tracking by ups will be updated as right now this store could have stolen my package and not give it to ups driver for all I know or it could be ups did pick up my package from them but did not update their tracking which would poorly reflect on ups tracking, but i probably will not be using this store again anyhow because of how rude and unhelpful they are, if a store is unappreciative of customer I don't see a a reason to keep paying them, and likely I would not use ups again if I have that option though my experiences using usps or ups have not been that great with either so it is like choosing between a rock and hard place shipping things, and I ship like hundreds of packages out and received hundreds of packages that I paid for shipping in the order every year, it is funny how the service I paid for try to make it difficult for those who paid them and keep them afloat. They just told me if my package is lost or tracking not updated, file a claim with the label print out service I used for the label which is pirateship. I've started sending photos recently to have them printed on photo quality paper. Much cheaper than shutterfly. Once I needed a notary and they have that too. I had an expiring passport I had to renew. Sooner the better. Like driver's licenses, they can be renewed in advance prior to its expiration date. With that said, I began the process. Only problem, I need a recent photo of myself to go with the application. I scoured around Yelp to see where in my local area I can go to for a viable passport photo service and not have to make time to go elsewhere. I scored and found a good one in Koko Marina shopping center. I didn't realize that the UPS Store did passport photo services, to be honest, but I was happy that they did. I arrived here around 9am on a Saturday morning. There wasn't any line and I got assistance almost immediately. After sitting down and having my photo taken against a white wall, I was told to come back in 20 minutes to process the photo. I was like, cool, and told them, I'll be back in an hour, so I could get a good workout in the 24 Hour Fitness gym nearby. After an hour or so, I returned to the UPS store and received my passport photos. The service was good and fast. It was cool to have this service within 15 minutes (or 35 minutes on the bus). While the UPS Store mainly oversees mailing parcels and other business functions, it's nice to have that extra service of passport photo processing. The only good thing about passport photos is that you need them every 10 years, if you renew regularly - generally speaking. The overall experience here at this UPS Store in Koko Marina shopping Center - Hawaii Kai was quite nice and familiar. It was nice to have the UPS Store here for its many conveniences and purposes. I enjoyed myself here, even though it was mainly for getting my US Passport renewed. While the price for passport photos was not cheap, I was glad that it wasn't pricier than I thought it would be. Currently, it was just under $20.00 for a set of 2 photos. I attached one photo to the renewal application and mailed it out the same day. I even asked the staff there to use their stapler to staple the photo onto the application. They were nice enough to lend it to me so I can be out fast and on my way to renew my passport documents ahead of the Easter weekend 2023. The staff was friendly and great of help. It was pretty cool that they were quick to help me. For the most part though, it was a quick and easy stop for me. The store itself was nice and probably air conditioned, although you can hardly feel It while in the store. The store was clean and very inviting for sure. They also sell various office products as well as provide the aforementioned mailing products and services too. They can be the one stop shop for all your business and mailing needs, and obviously, the ones who can take your passport photos for you. If you need to mail something or need that passport photo taken, consider coming here to the UPS Store in Hawaii Kai. They got you covered. This UPS Store is located in the Koko Marina shopping center in Hawaii Kai. The address is 7192 Kalanianaole Highway, 96825. They accept major credit cards, as well as cash I believe. As far as parking goes, there is plenty of parking here on the street level, and two floor parking lot where the Taco Bell currently is on the 2nd floor. The UPS Store is basically next door to the Koko Marina Consolidated Theaters. Can't really miss it. If you are like me, basically, routes 1, 1L, and 23 head out to Hawaii Kai from downtown Honolulu and the Ala Moana center area. Although there are other passport photo services sprinkled throughout urban Honolulu, I would prefer coming to this one in Hawaii Kai. The location is nice and you can do shopping or dining after you get your passport photo done and squared away. I like the service here, especially when there's no line. I had to look for a UPS store for my Amazon return because of Amazon's current return format/system. It's free to return if I took the package(s) to a store, $1 to print a label, and $2 for something else (can't remember what). I'm a Prime member, so it doesn't make sense to pay to return, much less to print my own label, so to the UPS store it is. I used good ole Yelp to find the most convenient location, and picked this store because we had to be here for the kiddo's baseball game anyway. I'm grateful to the Yelper who identified the location in Koko Marina Shopping Center coz I'm not too familiar with this side of the island and still get mixed up with Aina Haina and Hawaii Kai. The store is next to the theaters, and parking was plentiful on a Saturday afternoon. Anyway, mine was an easy transaction. All I had to do was drop off the package and have the guy scan my QR code. He gave me a receipt and I was out the door. Very minimal, took all of 2 minutes, if that. I'm giving the store 5 stars despite not having the full customer experience because of a few things: 1) the store was well-lit and well-stocked and there was plenty of space to walk around (unlike a few others I've been to) 2) the guy behind the counter (sorry didn't see his name) was friendly and courteous, and I saw him exchanging goodbyes with a couple of senior citizens, who left with big smiles, which gave me an excellent impression. I wouldn't mind coming back here for any future Amazon returns, even if there are a few other stores that are way closer to me. When you can't go to the Post Office .... I can remember when this store used to be called Mail Boxes Etc. I guess that means I've been using their services for more than ten years. There are times it isn't convenient to take your stuff to the Post Office - like the holiday season! Instead of standing in lines I can bring almost anything here and they will pack and label (if you need it), insure, and ship it. This gets really helpful on weekends and early evenings. Plus, I have a choice of using the USPS or their UPS service. The other reason I use them? They can prepare and print almost anything I need. I've used them in the past to make funeral service programs, tri- fold card stock paper handouts, spiral bound booklets of travel adventures. While they are geared towards servicing small businesses I've found their expertise on a personal level to be invaluable. She simply and rudely refused to notarize my documents, but when I went to another place, my documents were notarized without any problems. Apparently the notary at this certain store doesn't understand her task of being a notary which is to identify and verify the person signing the signature. But no just because there were numbers on the pages she claimed that she needed to see all "118" pages of a legal deposition document which is legally tendered. Love it when you go to a business and they don't call you Aunty ... or speak pidgin in the wrong way. I've been to this UPS Store many times for various tasks. Some would think a UPS store is just for mailing, shipping, and receiving, but it's much more! This store is conveniently located within Koko Marina Shopping Center in Hawaii Kai. They're open from 9am to 7pm Monday to Friday, and closes at 5pm on Saturday. Depending on the time and if there's a movie playing, there is usually plenty of parking. They also have two dedicated stalls in front for loading and unloading or anything that takes ten minutes. The staff here have always been friendly, courteous, and helpful. I've been here for large printing jobs and it's only four cents (with coupon) per page for black and white copies. I've been here to drop off packages and pick up. Another thing many UPS stores offer is notary service. It's just five buck for each notary, and you don't need an appointment. Some people charge over $20! Though, UPS did "lose" a package I ordered from Amazon. It was stated it was delivered, but I received nothing and I was home and live in a condo! I was very upset because what I ordered is rarely available that ships to Hawaii. I called Customer Service on both Amazon and UPS, and I felt like I was talking to the same Middle Eastern person on the phone. The solution is always the easiest way out: return my money. I wanted to investigate. How hard is it? Who was the driver who signed off that my package was delivered at the specific time? Was the time the same with the other packages delivered to my building? I went to this UPS store to share my matter. They listened, and didn't give me any BS answers. They were only able to help me check the shipping to each destination, and that I needed to call customer service and start an investigation...... I already did that, got unhelpful service, and the website says my package didn't qualify to start an investigation. Oh well. I eventually got what I needed, and chose to ship it to this UPS store instead of having one of their drivers making errors (or stealing it perhaps?). Anyway... thanks to their staff for listening to my venting, and actually helping me. I usually come here to get my Amazon returns taken care of, and staff is usually very nice. However, I came in today with a question about my Ups delivery and Angel stepped in to "help.". They couldn't help me woth my issue since they are just a franchise, which is fine, but Angel was very snarky and condescending when answering my questions. She ended up just walking away from me while the other two workers stood there and looked on like they were used to seeing her act like that. I will definitely try to avoid this store from now on. Recently I've been finding myself shipping more and more packages through UPS. It's mainly because they're carrier of choice for the company I work for. Occasionally, it's personal. UPS is also the preferred carrier for Amazon.com returns. Whenever my business takes me to a UPS Store I think immediately of the location in Koko Marina. I do a lot of business in the area and they're convenient. It's a definite plus that the store is clean and well lit and that the employees are always friendly and professional. They also have a really nice display of retail items for sale that includes some pretty funny greeting cards. Even if I don't have business that takes me in the area of Koko Marina, if I need to ship a package I'll make a special trip to this particular UPS Store. Convenient and with lots of parking (including a couple of designated short term stalls for package drop off) this location is also close by several awesome places to eat. read more

This is not a ding against UPS Stores in general. They are actually one of my favorites and very reliable. I have had an account at one on town for years and love it. This review is for the people that work at this location. Specifically, the gentleman that was working on Saturday, October 2, 2021, around 3:30 pm. My wife went to return an Amazon package and was harassed repeatedly for not having the top flap of the box taped close. I had left it open so they could confirm the contents, but instead of just helping out and taping it close, he had to publicly berate her in front of a crowd of folks repeatedly. Wonderful staff. They have always helped me and my family promptly and professionally. I have learned quite a lot about the shipping process over the past few years come here and it was all because of people like Edie and Eliza. I don't remember the other peoples names, but they were good as well. I have witnessed, first hand, the disrespectful verbal assault towards these poor employees by the self-entitled and selfish snobs that patron this place and yet the staff do their best to expedite their requests. Most people don't seem to read their Amazon return instructions and when they get it wrong, take out their frustrations on the employees. Sometimes Amazon says to bring it in unpacked and sometimes Amazon tells you to pack and tape it yourself and print the lable. Read the instructions people! Not that difficult. Yes tape and supplies aren't free. How many times I've stood in long lines because these snobs argue about $1-$2 for tape. If you read the instructions yourself, you wouldn't need tape. Imagine several hundred people a day asking for tape. Who pays for that? Why should the ups store pay for your negligence? If they tell you that you need to remove your battery label, just do it, they're saving you from getting fined by the FAA. Don't just stand there arguing with them that Amazon said so. Amazon isn't the one shipping your junk. This nonsense wastes all of our time. Also, make sure you know what you're shipping. They can't ship it if you don't know what it is. These guys don't work for Amazon and they have nothing to do with the reason you messed up your return. They literally can only accept packages that are meant to be returned to ups. If they can't accept yours then it's your fault, not theirs. Grow up people. Seriously, I could never do this work. Every time I go in there, I feel like yelling at these customers. The patience the employees all have there to deal with these terrible customers day in and day out is amazing. I'm so happy to have these guys so conveniently located and providing such a great service. They've always served me well. So next time you stop by here to drop off your Amazon trash, maybe take another glance at your Amazon return and make sure you read it right, because you probably didn't.
