This is an update to my initial review and to the UPS Store 4315 owner's response. The store owner wrote what I can only describe as a retaliatory rant but something about his response stood out. At first I thought his use of my FULL NAME - repeatedly and in all CAPS - was a bit childish and immature but then in dawned on me that, like most other Yelp users, my public Yelp profile contains only my first name and last initial. How did he get my full name and why did he choose to use it repeatedly in the manner in which he did? Well, the how turns out to be pretty easy - he took private information intended for the sole purpose of conducting a business transaction between UPS and myself. Most likely he verified that information by comparing it to data in my account at his store. Perhaps not illegal but certainly not ethical. Now to the why... The store owner used private information to post my full name on a public website in an act designed to intimidate a customer. Again, not illegal, but certainly not ethical business behavior. In my update below, I have chosen not to reference the store owner by name - although he publicly does so himself in other responses to reviews. This response is based on my interaction with this store and mine alone. If others choose to do business there, I hope your experience is better than mine. So let's dive in... Well Mr. Store Owner - I WAS going to use your store to ship the package until you tried to charge me $25 for the box. I did not "berate" or "bully" your employee. When they told me the box alone would be $25 I questioned if they were serious. When they confirmed the price I decided that your store really didn't want my business. I found my own box, used a Stamps.com account, and saved my company a ton a money in the process. How's that for understanding Economics?! Well Mr. Store Owner, now that we've dispensed with the first couple of fallacies in your tirade, let's move on, shall we? A $10 profit on an item that cost you $15 comes to a 40% profit margin - not too shabby. That's great money if you can get it. In fact, your 40% margin is a lot higher than most in my industry, so good for you, congratulations! For the record, I don't begrudge anyone "making a profit" and I am sure any of the local restaurants would agree that I pay well for good service. Personally, I feel when good service is provided, it is worth extra. And finally Mr. Store Owner, great job with the customer service!! Way to show the local community what an upstanding, local, small business owner you are - resorting to name calling and violating Yelp's TOS when you see a review that reflects poorly on your business practices. Trying to bully and berate a customer - a bit hypocritical don't you think? So Mr. Store Owner, I'll offer a solution. Let's agree to disagree and go our separate ways. My guess is you really don't need my business and I certainly will not be doing business with anyone that insults me for telling the truth. Best of luck in the future - if my experience is an example, (and judging by the fact you have more 1 and 2 star reviews than 4's and 5's) you're going to need all the luck you can get. Had a prepaid label with box but wanted to charge $1.50 to tape. I understand it's "policy" but I'll just go up the road on Buford to the UPS store in Cumming. They have much nicer customer service. read more

Unfortunately, this is the closest UPS Store near me so I visit often. The service is typically fine however if you are dealing with Gene, it is not a pleasant experience. Multiple times I've been helped by him and he's never been friendly - the experience feels quite rushed and as if he's annoyed. I recently had a box that we paid a couple hundred dollars to insure and i went into the store ASKING Gene if this is something he could handle. While explaining the situation, the whole time he's cutting me off saying "yes. Yep! Uh huh!" And as I'm still explaining he prints out a receipt puts it on the counter and then begins to say "no I'm not signing my name" after he had already said yes (which is what he was "yes. Yup & uh huh'ing me). I had to make a phone call in which i told my Manager what was happening at the store & while on the phone he's talking quite loudly repeating how he won't sign but i can just give the package to the driver. First off it's unacceptable to talk over someone while they are talking but it's also unacceptable to raise his voice - i don't appreciate that kind of service at all. I went in with no expectations which is why i was trying to explain the situation and figured he might not be able to accept the package due to the package being insured but he was rudely interrupting me as i was explaining - probably why he first said yes then said no later. If you have another store closer to you, I'd suggest going there & if you have to go to this store i suggest waiting for an employee to help you other than Gene. read more

Went to another UPS Store (in the Lakeland Plaza) that advertised that they had a notary, after waiting a while to be waited on we were told "No not today". We decided to try the UPS Store on Buford Highway and was so happy we did, not only were we waited on immediately, we had our paperwork notarized and received it for free with the check in!! This store has great customer service. I have children all over the country and each time I ship something to them the employees or the owner takes the time to walk me through best options for price and time frame for what I am shipping. They always have a notary and supplies needed for shipping. Very reliable and great customer solutions! Higly recommend read more

Terrific experience! I brought in a wreath I made for my mother in law. It is made from vintage jewelry, its heavy and fragile with a good chance that some of the pieces might come off in transit. They wrapped it, packed and shipped it, and it arrived on time in pristine condition! Such great work and attention to detail from the staff at this store! I already thanked them in person, just wanted to yelp it before the holiday shipping season starts. A+ read more

Worst costumer service no help is provided no even a greeting when you enter the business or starting a intersection at the desk.

Unfortunately, I'm going to have to give this UPS store 1 star. The gentleman working the store are nice and courteous, but my overall customer experience was bad. I usually go to Staples for my printing, but UPS was running a discount, so I decided to try them out. First of all, they took 3 days to print out 200 pages. Staples will have my order ready within the hour. Then the day I was supposed to pick my order up, they called and told me that if I wanted it folded the way I ordered it, I would have to wait ANOTHER day because they would have to send it to another store(why is that option on their website if they can't do it?). I picked up my order and the employees were nice, but the printing on the order wasn't as crisp as Staples (see picture). So in the future, use UPS for their shipping not their printing. read more

This UPS store by Publix is the WORST delivery store I have ever dealt with. I sent a computer off for repair to California and another package to Portland, Oregon. ($130.00) Three days later, I received the Portland package in my mailbox via USPS. I guess I should be grateful they didn't just throw out the package entirely. They had obviously opened the package to get info from my return invoice and instead of calling to inquire where the package needed to be sent, or looking on their computer, they instead sent the package back to me. When I returned to the store to inquire about what happened, the owner seemed completely lost and not able to rectify a shipment mishap from within his store. I asked for a refund which was granted.
