I visited Staples this morning to have a technician examine my laptop, which I suspect may have a virus. I had previously purchased a McAfee protection package with support through the store, sold to me by a technician named Sunil back in May. Even then, I sensed something was off in our interaction, but I gave him the benefit of the doubt, assuming my own frustration with my laptop might have clouded my judgment. Today confirmed that my instincts were right--it wasn't me, it was Sunil. I waited over twenty minutes while he assisted another couple. When it was finally my turn, he spent barely two minutes with me before a woman interrupted, asking if someone could check her out. Sunil told her he would assist her, not after finishing with me, but immediately. He stopped helping me mid-conversation and began checking her out. I asked, "Are you serious?" and he replied, "Yes." He attempted to continue speaking with me while helping her, but I told him I'd wait until he was finished so my concerns could be properly addressed. Instead of returning to me, he then took the next customer in line--a man--without explanation. I asked again, "You're going to take him now and make me wait again?" and he said, "Yes." At that point, I was livid. I told him I would not continue waiting and that his behavior was unacceptable. What I experienced was blatant and overt discrimination. It was so egregious that the woman he prioritized over me apologized. This kind of treatment is unacceptable in any professional setting. I strongly believe Staples needs to reevaluate Sunil's conduct and consider appropriate disciplinary action. read more

Yesterday I wrote a review on Google regarding 2 employees (Joe and Brian) assisting me with my technology needs. They were so awesome that I decided to return to Staples to purchase a new copier. The Manager Sunil and Christian (employee) provided me with the knowlege to determine the copier that I needed. I must say the team of employees and management know exactly what they are doing. TSA Precheck: Their online system is broken, guiding applicants with incorrect scheduling. This is a known error and has yet to be fixed. For reference, my appointment said 12:10 CDT, meaning 1:10 EDT. I arrived 20 minutes prior to my appointment time , was told I was late, and then the worker proceeds to tell me they won't assist me before their 30 minute break - but they would still help the person in line behind me. If visiting this location for TSA Precheck, I recommend you go anywhere else. read more

You can't get a full refund without a physical receipt. That's unbelievable despite my very small purchase. All I wanted was a store credit. The bubble mailers were on sale if you bought three, which I did and the guy rang me up and I mentioned that he didn't put in the sale price and he said sorry it was too late. I'm giving the copy and printer center MAD PROPS today! Worked on my marketing files today. When I uploaded to Staples.com for printing the cost exceeded $300. Wanting to make sure it was right, I drove over to double check before printing. Was met with attentive customer service from Tina. They even showed me every file before sending it to print. I paid extra for same day printing of my over 1,000 pages. Roamed the mall for about two hours and headed back just in time to see the final pages printed. Even signed up for rewards while I waited. After having a terrible experience at FedEx, I ran over to Staples for their printing services and it was a great experience! The employees were very kind and helpful. The disrespect seemed to begin when I started to ask for price matches at the register. At the end of my purchase, I gave the associate a coupon code from Staples Rewards, and it wouldn't go through The associate immediately calls over the manager, which comes over, and right off the bat just begins to give me an attitude. I then grab a couple of snacks from next to the register and ask for them to be rung up. The associate does, and the price seems more than expected. I ask the associate to go check to see if they are Buy 1 Get 1 40% off. The manager immediately replies, "No. It's not," very disrespectfully without even checking to make sure. She continues this attitude for the rest of my time there. read more

I am a frequent customer of their print shop. The guys there extremely helpful, extremely fast, and very nice.

My husband and I were at this location over the weekend to purchase a new computer. Although we originally went into this location for a computer that was featured in the weekly ad, we had found a better deal on a Compaq Notebook computer. While shopping around all day trying to find the best deal on a new computer, we didn't have much luck with finding a great deal, nor were we pleased on the customer service we had been experiencing either. We were thrilled when we finally found a Clearance priced Notebook computer and were ready to make the purchase. It wasn't until we got to the check out when we had learned that the so-called clearance price was really not the 'walk out of the store same day price'. No where did the price tag mention that we would need to submit an online rebate (which I know of many who have many problems with these rebates). We were very displeased with the fact that we were not getting the upfront price that was listed in front of the Notebook computer. No one was willing to honor the price listed, as it did not list 'price after rebate'. Fortunately, Best Buy had the exact same Notebook computer offered for less than what Staples was offering it for and the price at Best Buy was 'Walk out the door price no rebate'. I feel as a consumer that if a business honestly wants a customers business, they should list the up front price with no hidden costs. Staples could have had my business, but instead opted not to keep me as a customer. read more

This location is very clean and the workers are super friendly. Literally walked into an aisle and a worker greeted me and asked me if I need any help locating what I needed. The men and women who work at this store are very willing to work with you to find out exactly what you need, not necessarily what is best for them to sell. They actually seemed interested in selling me a really cheap stapler versus selling me the $20 one with all the bells & whistles. Compared to other office stores, I think I'd rather shop here as this specific store seemed better than the other stores that I've had to deal with. It just seemed better than the average ones around here. The store isn't perfect, though. There are quite a few areas that were not really that well organized and not all the sections had all the items in the right spot. Sometimes you can come across an area with markers or some other product and they have the same item in quite a few slots, but there should be different items there. They lost a little bit on variety that they should have had. Probably poor stocking led to exaggerated ordering of some items and not enough of others. Overall, it wasn't bad, but there have been better stores out there. read more

After having a horrific experience at staples in Palm Coast Florida I was ready to give up on this business. My dad however wanted a specific item that only Staples offered. I can't tell you how glad I am that I went to this store. Firstly although it was 8:30 on a terribly rainy day I was treated as if they just opened and I had all day to decide. The gentlemen assisting me explained the different features and options available to me. No upsell just genuine product comparison. The item I was looking for was actually the most expensive chair they offered but it's what my dad wanted. I was shown other options that would have cost less or were on sale but in the end bought the Lazy Boy I went in for. Because they knew I was buying for someone else I was also given full instructions on how to return if I needed to. Well I drove the chair to Florida today and just as promised everything I needed to assemble was included in the box. It looks great in my dads office and I have the Buford team to thank for all their help. Great job team. I am very sorry but I'm bad with names and the man who spent so much time educating me deserves all the praise-I'm embarrassed I can't remember his name but it was 8:30 Wednesday night and he wore glasses.
