I arrived in plenty of time before closing (5-10 mins) on a Sunday. The door was locked, and they refused to let me in. If you don't want to keep your doors open until your 3 o'clock closing time, advertise that your closing time is 2:45! Thank you for wasting my time, 1595 Peachtree Pkwy location. I took my order to the UPS Store at Sharon Green and ended up having a delightful experience! Yes, my order required a bit of 'hand holding' but Barb and her team delivered! Long story but just to let you know, they do not take responsibility for packages once that leaves their store. They tell me that they are not UPS. They only represent UPS. Not sure what that means but they didn't deliver a package and took a month for it to be found and brought back to the store and now they want to charge me again to send the same package stating it wasn't their fault. Horrible service. It all depends on who is working in the store. Surely they are not all this bad. Besides being very slow I was shocked by the apathy showed by one of the employees on April 20th around 1:30pm when someone accidentally left a FedEx package mixed in with their US Mail items. Instead of maybe looking at the sender's return address and trying to get the package back to the customer she loudly and proudly told the Postman for all to hear - "just throw it in the trash" - with a sense of entitlement and disdain for the person. I don't know what it is with the two older women that work here I think one is the owner, but they never have a good day. They are always unfriendly and rude. I go here just because it's convenient for Amazon returns but if I didn't have to go here, I would avoid it at all costs. How is being rude a way to run a successful business. Wouldn't it be easier if you are just friendly when customers walk in. I read all these negative reviews for this UPS store and then I read the response from someone at the UPS store, like it was just a rare occurance. i'm never the type of person to write reviews and i'm not tryna make this a big deal but i ordered a package off temu and i understand that it can be a little iffy because it's a untrustworthy app but im tracking it and it said it was supposed to come in january 2-8th and today is the 10th and it is still sitting in the airport in miami and i would at least just like to get a notification that it will be late but i have been checking on it everyday and it has been sitting in the airport for 3 days now so i guess im writing this just to try and get some notifications or updates if my package is gonna be late and it's not this specific store it is just ups as a buisness so i hope this reaches the right person to change that read more

I have used this store many times and find that the price of packaging supplies is exorbitant! A plain brown shipping box was $20! In addition I paid a premium to get a gift sent by a certain date. This was a guaranteed service! The gift was a day late and the store refused to issue a refund. Not only that but the staff had a terrible attitude when approached for a refund, dismissing the claim despite the guarantee which they initially gave. I dropped off a package to be shipped through the Sharon Springs Cumming Ga. store. I asked for the least expensive shipping as I had 27 days for it to arrive. subsequently that ended up being USPS with an expected arrival date in 9 days. After 15 days I went to the store because the tracking said "label created but USPS has not received the item" the store insisted that the issue was between me and the USPS. I contacted them and they opened a case file and closed it Twice, concluding that they never received the item. There for my package was not insured through them. The UPS store has no evidence that the USPS picked up the item however they also have no federal laws to abide by soooo, if the store looses the package there is no recourse. Not even a refund for the shipping. Shipper beware. I have contacted both UPS and USPS and both describe it as if I handed the package to a friend and asked them to mail it. Ripping off our community. I recently came in to mail the same exact item in the same exact envelope that I usually send through USPS via the Staples store. I don't usually like to come to this ups store because I feel (but was never fully certain) that their prices are inflated. Well, now I have confirmation. I usually pay $1.80 to send this item out of Staples but had to pay $5.04 here. Five dollars to send an regular envelope that weighs 2.5 ounces! When I complained about the price and asked if there was a cheaper option, the lady rolled her eyes and said she didn't make the prices. I have to assume that she hears those complaints on a regular basis. So I then calculated what my cost *should* be on usps.com and it was $1.36. That's a 370% markup because they know that there isn't another location to ship from nearby. I won't be supporting this store in the future. read more

I've been doing business at this particular location for several years but when you walk in you get the feeling your not welcomed and yes I continued doing business here because it was convenient and I believe in supporting independent locally owned businesses but as of today... A review for The UPS store located at 1595 Peachtree Pkwy, Cumming I recently placed an upcoming delivery (to my home), on hold at this store due to travel schedule. I went in to pick up my item and was met with what definitely is a long-standing hostile, overall bad attitude, unprofessional, and disrespectful environment (read on, I'll explain why I describe it as "longstanding later in the review) On this particular day, the customer service person named, Sharon M nodded her head for me to step forward--yes, she basically nodded her head-she never said: hi, how may I help you, what can I do for you, how can I assist you. However when I approached the counter, things got worse. I told her I'm there to pick up package I placed on hold. Much to my surprise, Sharon M immediately appeared to be extremely confused about my inquiry, and told me no way, I'm at the wrong place, there's no such thing, it's not here, it wouldn't be here-complete immediate, negative and uncaring response, without even taking the time to check-up to this point, she never asked for my name, address, or anything necessary to confirm that package is there. Of course this should have been the first steps taken but for whatever twisted and unacceptable reason, she chose to be dismissive and deny that the package is there. Standing in total bewilderment, I said yes, it should be here-she insisted it isn't, so luckily I had printed the delivery hold notice with the exact store pickup location and address, and brought it with me, so I said: Please take a look at this confirmation. Here is proof that I am at the correct location-My request was initiated directly on UPS' website to place package on hold... She reluctantly took the paper and stared at it, while still saying she doesn't know of anything being left there for me. Sharon M then asked me for an ID and walked away, saying I don't think anything is here. She approached another rep as if she was complaining to her about my claim that a package was dropped off for me, based on the manner in which it was relayed-- The rep basically was fixated on what she was doing. After many exhausting and distressing minutes passed by with me standing inside the store, awaiting my package, Sharon M finally decided to check if the package was indeed in the store and sure enough, there it was all along despite her initial extensive nonchalance to even check to see if its there. With an aura of defeat, and no change in her bad attitude (as if she was expecting a different outcome or something), she brought the package, placed it on the scale and proceeded to process the package. Though it was clear she was wrong in her approach from the beginning, she never offered an inkling of an apology. Baffled, and quite taken aback by her behavior, I said: I was confused when you said theres nothing there for me, and that I am at the wrong place, etc as soon as I told you I am here to pickup my package. She was quite dismissive and said: oh, well, she then positioned her hands at her hips [akimbo] and muttered some inaudible words. At this point I fell silent and at a loss for words. It was clear there was nothing I could say for her to acknowledge any wrongdoing, and not behave in such a disrespectful and despicable manner. After she was through with processing, she said oh well, you can pick it up, there you go. It was then I picked up my package from the scale, and left with a load of questions than answers. This experience was so appalling that I immediately called UPS and complained, accordingly. An additional complaint will be filed directly with the corporate head office as soon as I find the time to do so. As far as long standing issues, this is not the first incidence of unprofessionalism from employees at this particular location. This behavior is prevalent among almost ALL of the senior employees (with 1 being the only exception-but I can't recall her name at the moment). However, I find that the younger employees have exhibited nothing but professionalism, courtesy, and pleasantness. It is out of convenience for me why I continued giving my business to this store over the years. I oftentimes do several drop-offs there but have ceased since this particular incident. I've encountered very bad attitude with them before and called to complain, but it appears there was neither a reprimand or anything to deter this type of unprofessional behavior. As a result, it needs to be escalated to a higher level. As for service with a smile--forget about that. they always appear to be sad. Even if you decide to overlook their unpleasant countenance and greet them with a smile, it doesn't work. It's like you've done wrong, by just walking into the store to process your package. Not to mention whenever they're done processing your package, there's one who says: There you go! when you say thank you. Discourtesy is consistent and utterly unbearable-Just won't go there anymore. They are ALWAYS friendly and very helpful absolutely 100% of the times I frequent this store. For people complaining about the price, you must know that there is a little bit of a markup, and that is standard. It is for the convenience of not having to go to the USPS office and stand in those long lines, and then more than likely not even get the friendliest service, so deal with it, ro just go to USPS.
