I went to BookLogix to print my autobiography. It was 600 pages and lots of photos - some 70 years old. BookLogix was one of the few companies who would print such a large manuscript and complete it in hard cover. My experience with them was wonderful. Our regular printer is in Kansas City, KS so I was looking for a local printer to do a small run of a digital printing of 2 books with a quick turnaround. I found the people at BookLogix to be first class and to deliver as promised. The printing was quality and the trim was spot on. I actually liked their quality better than the printer that we have had most of our titles printed. Being local also saved shipping charges and the turnaround was in a few days as opposed to 3-5 weeks. I have twice now worked with booklogix to print my self-published novel, using both paperbacks and hardbacks. The staff is exceptionally helpful, knowledgeable, and responsive (anyone familiar with the complete lack of assistance from IngramSpark/KDP will find them a welcome and refreshing change). The print quality is superior to anything I've seen through the KDP/Ingram network, especially on ink-heavy illustration pages. They turn around orders very quickly; both times, BookLogix has beaten their own aggressive time estimates. Prices ended up being 5%--20% more than Ingram, but I consider the quality and service more than worth the premium. read more
