I've been working with Jay and Nimenta now for over a month on a ton of projects. I go in at least 3-4 times a week. They are so friendly and helpful. Jay is quite good at making suggestions for your projects to help make them more streamline too. He can do most anything...logos on bottles and shirts, create buttons and printing of anything small or big (pull-up banners and large material for tradeshows). They are really busy but somehow they keep it all straight, and the job gets it done. One time I accidentally messed up one of my shipments, and they caught my error and spent time on the phone with UPS and truckers to return the shipment so I could correct it. They did this without complaint in anyway. People complain about the price of tape or products, it's the convenience factor...get it all in one place and it is going to cost you more, just like a drug store. But the piece of mind in knowing it will be done correctly is worth it and of course the ease of one-stop. And it's become almost a coffee shop...I run into old friends there all the time. read more

I'll be honest that my review is biased because I really connected with the owner when I was in a rush once and she's remembered me since. But I have observed the family at work with other customers while in the store... The family that owns this location is so absolutely special. They are really kind and definitely helpful. The store down the road wanted to charge me almost $40 for an envelope and ticket to mail my Visa. At this store, the owner knew exactly the Visa process and suggested the best envelope with the appropriate tracking for a quarter of the price. She was very honest and patient with me, giving every customer I saw her interact with full attention and service. Great customer service with multiple customers as she is sure to make eye contact with waiting customers and she has a lot of patience. For my particular experience, I saw one of the workers socializing and thought they wouldn't help me, but as soon as I was closing the flaps of my box at the center island he dropped the conversation immediately and helped me finish up and check out quickly. He even handled taping the box shut for me as I mentioned I was in a rush. Have whatever opinions you want about UPS at a higher level, but this store executes well. read more

Gets the job done. You don't come out of the store feeling like a prince or princess. Pretty crowded and busy. The only thing I am not happy is that they charge $4 for notary by splitting it to two items in the receipt namely notary $2 and notary oath $2. I don't know, maybe this is normal and I never heard of notary oath neither is the internet. read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. I visited 4 ups stores nearby looking for the best location to rent a po box for business. This was hands down the best of the 4 locations in every aspect. The staff were the most friendly, the most knowledgeable, and the most competent. The prices were the lowest in every category and this location had the most activity- yet the shortest lines (they were very fast in giving the help that was needed in each instance). I am actually excited to have a box there! That part was quite unexpected- that I would be looking forward to checking my mail. The owner of this store is unreasonable, unempathetic and cares nothing about his customers. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THIS STORE! (The one at near the intersection of Jones Bridge and State Bridge is the total opposite of this store so please don't confuse the two). I sold my condo and needed a temporary P.O. Box. They told me it was $58 and change for three months. When I went to pay, they changed me for non-disclosed fees, which added up to $74. I just kind of shook my head on the inside and paid. (First mistake). I put in a change of address to this address and awaited for my mail to be forwarded. But it never arrived. I spoke to the UPS store about this, so they were aware. The lady who bought my condo got in touch with me to say she is still getting my mail. I took off early from work to go to the post office to find out what is going on. The post office told me that they cannot forward from a private residence to a business address, nor can they forward mail from a business address to a personal address. I thanked the post office for this information. I imagined me going to the UPS Store and explaining this, and them saying "we're sorry that we are unable to provide the service you paid for. We'll give you a refund, but please keep us in mind for others services that we provide". I would have thanked them and continued to do business there. Instead the man (I believe owner) told me that it's not his fault, that I should have known, and that he will not refund my money. What this man doesn't realize that even if I don't get my refund, he will lose far more than $74 by losing me as a customer as well as the people I warn. Instead he acted very arrogant and was not professional at all. I told him I was going to post bad reviews and he told me he didn't care. So far, I have disputed the transaction with my bank, and filed a complaint with UPS Corporate. Johns Creek is such a sweet town, it's very disappointing to see small business owners who care more about not refunding money to a customer who will not receive the service they were sold, than they are building a community of long term customers. Again, the UPS Store at the intersection of Jones Bridge and State Bridge has always had exceptional customer service. I moved to Johns Creek in 2010 and needed a mailbox for business and personal use. I selected UPS Store 4342 (Douglas Road in the Kroger Shopping Center) based solely on location. After doing business with Jay for the past 4 years (packages, printing, signs, in addition to the mailbox) I would gladly drive a distance to use their services any day. Friendly, fast, detailed. Maybe it's weird to review a UPS store because um how exciting can it be, sending away a package? Well, true, it's not. I had to swing by to ship off some extra important documents (read: Visa application to study in London this summer!) and well, I had to be absolutely certain that nothing tragic would become of it during its transit. Well, I'd say that usually, UPS has been pretty reliable in my experience, so I'm going to pray that everything works out this time too. What's cool about this location? I really appreciated how friendly and courteous the dude was -- he shared how his wife is living in London and that everything is super expensive, but it's really awesome... and I must eat fish and chips, but avoid Mexican restaurants like the plague (well, I took liberty with the simile, but that was the gist of it), and that Italian should be a safe bet. I know his job can't be all that exhilarating and he's just "doing his job" of shipping thousands of packages, but it's really nice when someone is so cheery when doing it! read more
