I have been to this location multiple times, but never experienced good customer service. They gave me hassle every time on notary and when I had to ship something. When I used the tape gun to tape a box, the guy asked me who is going to pay for the tape. When I asked him to how much is to used the tape and tape gun, he pointed the new tape to purchase. I picked up the boxes and left the store to go to any other store. It not that I couldn't afford it, it's just the cold poor attitude towards customers service. Not being racist, but the Asian guys at the register needs to take Customer Service 101 course. I will never return to this store again. The other UPS store little south of this store has good service, I never experienced any issue there. Edited Review: the response by the store is not accurate. I brought 6 boxes in total and only two of them were open and I had 4 shipping labels. To give context to the review. These were window blinds that Home Depot provide the return label for inaccurate size. There were two blinds that were only 11" wide and when I received them they were bundled together and same with 23" blinds - others were larger and had independent labels. Home Depot shipped it that way and expected it return the same way. The guy never cared to actually walk around the counter to look, but started passing comments behind the counter which was not helpful. Even after I explained him the situation and how I received it and I am not sure what the UPS and Home Depot contract is and I am just here to ship the way as I received, the guys started questioning me. I am like, "I don't know." What do you expect? Call and negotiate the UPS and Home Depot corporate contract? This store does have very poor service and never been helpful. When I went to other UPS store they first greeted me, held the door so I can bring all the packages, helped me with the shipping/packages and when I spoke to them about what I experienced at this store they just laughed and told me they would never do and I am always welcome at their store. I understand that I should have brought the box taped (which I offered to pay, not for a full new tape roll), but I am talking about customer service and the manner it was dealt with. The guys had full opportunity to better explain and help me understand, but he chose to offer poor service and was very condescending - this is the choice he made. I have experienced this in the past and so did my family and community members. Like I mentioned before, the store needs customer service and verbal/non-verbal communication skills. It is fair to say that, my family and I won't be returning there. I have never experienced this at any FedEx, UPS, DHL or even USPS locations. World Class Service comment is a joke. Also, in the response it was mentioned that they print the label free, but the other review mentioned that he was charged for label printing. I don't write a lot of reviews, but this hit me as this happened on Veterans Day and when I picked up the boxes and left, it did cross my mind that there are people who sacrifice everything and then there are these people who cannot even be nice. I was there and you and you other coworker didn't help me in any way possible. Just made smart comments from behind the counter. If this considered world class service by you, then this store is hopeless. You are averaging 3 out of 5 stars. If you listen to customers and implement some change then maybe you will be on track to becoming better. read more

DO NOT GO HERE! THEY WILL CHARGE YOU FOR FREE ITEMS! Went in on a Friday to pickup a UPS box to ship an expedited package. 1st - Owner told me they do not "give away" UPS boxes (none are in the front where you can easily come in and pick up what you need like most fedex/ups stores) 2nd - I told him all UPS boxes are free of charge and are readily given out to customers 3rd - Clerk told me I need to show him what I am shipping before he will give me a box 4th - I told him my package was in the car and I just needed a box. 5th - Clerk told me I had to bring the package in the store to show him before he would give me a box OR I could purchase one of the boxes he had for sale. Walked out of the store, drove two miles down the road and what do you know???? Walked into another UPS store and the FREE UPS boxes were out front for everyone to pick up as needed. I went to this store in my time of need to get help on a Saturday, and they financially abused me by nearly $120 over what my items should have costed to ship. The owner was rude, and they have a sketchy policy of not keeping any UPS shipping labels in stock so that you have to pay extremely high retail shipping costs to their store only. Definately not a SERVICE center! Also, I attempted to work out the issue with the owner after the fact, and he argued with me and berated me on the phone for over 15 mins before hanging up on me. Update: Well I now see why these associates were confused, the owner is not familiar with the notary process as well. All I wanted was to get a copy of a W-2 notarized, that was it. I had done this many many times in many many different UPS stores. I have never ever heard of this nonsense before. I went to this UPS store to get a copy of a document notarized but the clerk (older Asian gentleman) very nicely told me that they could not make copies and notarize. I always get my documents notarized through the UPS stores and it seemed real odd that this person claimed that they only notarize a statement. He needs some training because he just caused you to lose some business. Avoid this location if you can. I went up to the other Coppell location and they were more than happy to do it. read more
