But then they kept saying to give them a $1 because it cost them $80 to buy the scanner and also because they're a franchise and the franchise owner told them they have to charge customers to get their money back. Feels SUPER scammy. The scanner is a business expense and the fee wasn't listed anywhere. They kept insisting I pay them $1 saying "it's just $1" and "you can pay that."
