We live in Ireland and would be lost without Dominic and the crew. He sorts and mails out our mail, contacts us when the important stuff arrives , and is wonderful to deal with. Top class service for three years and counting. read more

I love this store! I've had a mailbox here for 7 years! The employees always help me carry out the large items to my car, hold the door for me when my hards are too full not to mention they always have candy for me to take on the go! They always accommodate my crazy pick up schedule by placing my packages in lock boxes (when I call & request) so I can easily access when after hours. Since living in Chicago and moving numerous times if you tried to find my address it's listed at 3501 N Southport.... I might actually move in next month! Great store, wonderful, friendly & super helpful employees and great candy! Candy request-no more nerds, my dentist told me to stop! Thanks UPS Southport! read more

Awesome service. Hands down the best experience with shipping I've had in Chicago. I worked with Rich, who was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable and helped me find a cost-effective way to ship some fragile artwork. I'll definitely be back! read more

I love these people. I have had a mailbox here for over a year and they have always met my needs....and more. When I have to ship things (Christmas presents, business letters) they are always very informative and give me options depending on the cheapest/fastest/safest way I want it. I never have to wait for very long like I've had to with the USPS (where their staff usually says "next", like I've just inconvenienced them in some way). I will be staying with UPS-Southport for my postal needs. Did I mention that they're always friendly when I come in and get my mail? Good people. Smart people. Fun people. read more

I have never posted a review on Yelp, but it is my civic duty to warn unsuspecting customers about the poor customer service here. I was prepared to forgive the first employee on the grounds of youth, inexperience, or mediocre social skills - but when I called the manager over and discovered he was equally unprofessional, I cut my losses, exited the store, and went across the street to FedEx. FedEx easily took care of my request, which was a very simple one: please do not haphazardly shove my carefully folded items into a box that is *clearly* too small to accommodate them, or else let me pack it myself, which I am very happy to do. For the record, the UPS team at 3712 N. Broadway is exceptionally nice, and I will happily drive the extra distance to go there instead. read more

This UPS location has become my go to for printing for party materials. They are very friendly, knowledgeable and fast (and affordable!). I was recommended to this location from someone at Paper Source who used them to print her wedding invitations and I have not been disappointed. I wouldn't bother doing half of my creative projects for parties if I didn't have this store as a print resource - I tried other options before this and gave up until I found them! read more

I brought a very large package in here that i needed to ship across the country for someone who purchased it off ebay. Long story short they said they could ship it for $275, no wiggle room. I already agreed to do business with them and ship a separate item, but when asking for honest advice on what else I could do to ship the larger item since the buyer wouldn't pay that much for shipping, they said "this is as cheap as it gets. If you try to go across the street to fedex they won't even be able to package it for you, and will be at least just as expensive." So of course i went over to fedex, they were much nicer and more helpful and quoted me 180. Almost $100 cheaper than ups. Decided to still search around for a cheaper option. Went to fedex at irving park and sheridan, and the guy shipped it for me for $135.50... HALF the price of this UPS store. My smaller item costed almost $60, for the hell of it i had him quote me on that... $32.50. If you are shipping anything that is a decent size or over 20 pounds. I would definitely look at other options first before taking it here. read more

They wanted to charge me $3.00 to print a prepaid shipping label. What kind of customer service is that? I took my money to FedEx!

I typically don't write reviews but I felt the need to write this as the business deserves to be recognized and I don't believe that the other negative review I saw here is valid. I have had a mailbox at this UPS store for the past 3 years. Prior to that I had a box at another location that closed which is how I found this store. Having had experience with the prior store and other stores in the area, I can say that this team offers the best service and does the best job. They are helpful, friendly, and courteous and always go above and beyond even when they are busy. I would highly recommend overlooking these other reviews and giving them your business - they are the best shop in town. read more

I drive out of my way to go to this particular UPS Store, because the experience is always great with these guys. They are all friendly, knowledgeable, and FAST. They actually care about getting you taken care of and back on your way quickly. What a refreshing change... I would highly recommend going here for any of your shipping needs! read more

Have had a box here for years and also mail things regularly. Always get great service and see friendly faces when I stop by. They have gone above and beyond to help me more than once! It isn't cheap, though. Ask for AAA discount if you have a card! read more

My go-to place for sending packages as the crew is efficient, friendly and fast! And they also offer USPS services such as certified mail delivery- no need to go anywhere else! read more

They go above and beyond, even on really small orders. Fast, friendly, and welcoming. Great staff. Way better, in my opinion, than the FedEx Kinkos across the road. read more

They are SO helpful here. Every time I need to return something or send a gift, etc... they make it so easy for me. They're incredibly friendly too. read more

Yes, this was a good place to get a Notary done. He was very nice and cordial. Very good price. Even the currency exchanges down the street didn't offer Notary services. read more

I have had excellent experiences this past week at this UPS store. I needed some printing services and my first thought was to go to Kinkos across the street, but they were not helpful. I had a wedding program that CJ helped me with. I purchased the template on Etsy and had some difficulty with the formatting. He was familiar with problems that sometimes occur and helped me. He made sure I was satisfied by printing some examples for me to see, he programs were printed before they were even promised and they turned out great! I returned today and had a poster size seating chart printed. Greg helped me, and he too was pleasant and helpful. They printed it for me and I got it the same day. All the guys that work there are great. I would choose to go there for any printing job you have - AND their prices are more reasonable than the competition. read more

The best in the biz. Super friendly, helpful, fast, literally everything you'd want from a UPS Store. Highly recommended.

This review is long over due. I have been a customer of the UPS Store on Southport for the past year and a half. The staff is always professional and helpful, mostly due to the leadership of their manager, Dominic. Dominic has been my life saver on more days than I can count. Many stores do not accept international packages anymore because they can prove to be a hastle, but this store on Southport does, and I agree - these international packages can prove to be difficult. However, Dominic always manages to pull through with me - helping me fill out all of the forms correctly, making sure I am insured and often times doing extra research to make sure that the items I am sending will be safe and sound. He goes above and beyond for me as a customer and I am truly grateful. This is a great UPS store and I am happy to have them as my neighbor down the block (and UPS should be proud to have Dominic as a team member), but most importantly I am happy to say they are a source I can trust, which is not easy to find. read more

I went on here because, sadly, I no longer need their services because I moved and wanted to thank them. I saw a particularly false (in my experience) review and felt compelled to correct it. I moved from Los Angeles 7 years ago and needed an address because I didn't yet have a permanent one. I was greeted warmly, given all the details I asked about (plus more!), and given EXCELLENT service every time (and I mean EVERY) I went there, which was often. I highly recommend getting any services you need. I had a mailbox there, they forwarded me mail when I was out of town for a particularly long time and needed it, I sent out my taxes and Christmas packages, so much more. I loved talking with these guys, too. Great senses of humor on top of the excellent service. I hope this review helps you decide to use their services. Good stuff. Thank you to Sam, Dominic, Rich, CJ and all the others that helped me along the way. read more
