    I live 3 blocks from this location & I've Always had a Wonderful Experience here! The staff is Super Friendly and Knowledgeable- there's always good music playing, I can pickup or return my packages with Zero Hassle & they are always giving away free samples of foods, beauty, or homecare products. This place actually makes pickup & returning items more relaxing :) Pickup is on the app at the lockers so sometimes I can just grab and go.

    I visited the Amazon Clark and Diversey location twice in one day this week, and my stop in was such a quick and easy process. I'd placed an order via the Amazon site on Sunday night, and selected the option to pick up at this location because there have been a few instances of theft in my apartment building's lobby. I figured this might be a viable option to avoid thievery in the future, and the shipping cost no more or less, so why not? Amazon's app let me know that my order of four items would be arriving as two different boxes, which was fine with me since I live nearby. Again, I placed my order around 8pm on Sunday, and received an email notification about my items being ready on Monday night at 7:37pm. That's less than 24 hours after ordering. That... was awesome. I didn't feel like going back out after a long day at work, so I decided to pick up my package in the morning. When I woke up, I drove to the Amazon Clark and Diversey location and parked out front with my hazards on, since I was just running inside. I left my phone in the car, too, since it was pretty much dead (I promise this part is relevant!). I stood inside and was admittedly a little confused, and after about 45 seconds an employee with long blonde and purple hair came out of the back room to help me. She told me that I was sent a code to scan the Amazon locker where my item was, and that I could use my phone to open the locker. When I told her I didn't have my phone, she told me no problem! If I gave her my ID she could pull up the code on her scanning device. This entire process took about a minute or two, then she scanned the locker, and BAM, my package was right there. How rad is that?! The second time I visited later that day to pick up my second package, I knew to take my phone out and scan. This visit took, like, one minute total, and I knew my packages were safe. I don't think I'd get HUGE packages sent here since they'd be a pain to carry back home, but this is convenient for making sure your small Amazon packages don't get stolen from your less trustworthy neighbors. I love this concept because I am not a big fan of small talk and I really don't care if an employee greets me or talks to me while I'm in a store (not that I mind if I'm greeted! I just don't care that much). That's why I like shopping online -- I can get my stuff in one swift moment and not even have to move from my couch, and I don't have to be chattty! This is like that concept but in real life. Just cross your fingers that none of your hot neighbors learn of this before you show up to the Amazon pickup store in your sweatpants. ;)

    Never open at posted times. If it says 9am, assume 9:30. They are always late, and then act like you're inconveniencing them.

However, I found out the tracking number they gave me was never scanned in at this store location!! And, my package was NEVER shipped out from this location, so it never arrived for the person I sent it to! The staff has not been helpful at locating my box, that should have been processed and shipped by them. They claim it was picked up by driver, yet do NOT have the package as scanned in by their store.....so someone is not telling the truth! Who knows who has these prescriptions and what they are doing with them!! DO NOT have them box up and ship items for you, especially medications. They are NOT all honest employees and will not attempt to locate a missing box or the contents. BEWARE!!

    The service here is awful. I've had two interactions with the staff and they are so incredibly…read morerude. Both times I called to ask a question and each time the agents sounded like they were being burdened by the call. First time was for notary and it was so unfriendly. Today I used a courier service to return a package. The courier tried to get a receipt but they said they were too busy and asked him to leave the package. When I called the store to follow up they said once a package is dropped off they have no idea what happens. I told them he's literally outside because he just left the store and I just need to make sure the package gets scanned (I had to return it no later than today). The woman told me she has no way of knowing because they are sooooo incredibly busy she can't possibly know what happened in the last 2 minutes. I told her it's a unique package and if she can just look around and make sure it's there I can describe it. She said the delivery truck is here so it will probably get scanned at some point in the journey. How is this acceptable? Why is she needed then? AI could've done this and now we see why jobs are being replaced by them. 6 hours later there's no update on my package. Completely useless. The previous review is even making me nervous about the safety of my package. Just drive a little bit further to another location.

    Historically have had good experiences but recently problematic. Tried to send photos to my son…read morevia UPS (for his birthday no less), which do not arrive, I look at the tracking report, it was tracked as received at the UPS store and then - nothing? I.e., shipping NEVER STARTED. How the heck does that happen? Drop by on the weekend, they say they'll file a "missing package report and get back to me". Called them during the week after no response - stated they "reviewed the security cameras" in the store and no sign of the package. But they'll refund my credit charge. Not worth it guys - time to find another shipper or another branch. Oh, and in Urbana the delivery person took a picture of another letter I shipped, on the floor with resolution so poor that you can't see the address. Hmm, maybe another shipper. The two stars are for the decent service before all this started.

When using Paypal, it appeared the payment went through, but it didn't give me my shipping label, and double-charged me instead. After asking the person working the desk about it, he said they could not handle payment issues in-store, and provided a corporate number for me to call. After getting home, I called the UPS corporate number, and was met with a completely useless automated message system that could not help me with the issue. I tried getting it to send me to a live agent TWICE, and both of them said they would need to redirect me to ANOTHER department to deal with payments, only to send me back to the exact same useless automated message system I started out with. Massive waste of time. I proceeded to ship through Fedex instead, and went through the process without issue in less than an hour. I will be disputing the transactions on Paypal.
