I used Allied for a large copy order, after being disgruntled with the poor customer service and prices at Staples. Robert was friendly, professional, and fast. And the prices were incredibly reasonable. Allied gets all of my future business! read more

I emailed them three documents to print at 4:00 p.m. and showed up 5 minutes before closing which would have been at 5:00 p.m. and they had already closed and left the shop. I had called and spoken to a gentleman and they had provided me an email address to send the documents to, that was at about 4:00 p.m. I needed those documents as I was traveling the next day and was going to read them. read more

I come here every so often to update my resume. They are always extremely helpful, especially with the computer! My only regret is that I don't have much business to send them, but it doesn't matter to them if you're a big or small client. Customer service is defined here! read more

High praise for Allied Print & Copy! I didn't place my order when I should have and it was scheduled for Monday. Robert asked their designer to come in on his day off to do it. The order was complete by noon'ish on Friday!! I'm grateful and will use them again. read more

I looked you up on Google Maps and it states that your hours of operation are until 6:00 PM. I drove over to your shop to make some photocopies and arrived at 5:05. I parked my car in front of your shop and paid the parking box. I walked up to your door, but when I pulled the handle the door was locked and above the door was a sign that states that you close at 5:00. Please update your hours of operation on Google Maps so customers' time and money won't be wasted. read more

I really appreciate the individual attention they give customers. This is a great place! They're very helpful and competent.

I've come in here over the years and they have always provided high quality product. The staff has always been extremely helpful and at times have gone above and beyond in finding creative solutions for my needs. There are also a lot of neighborhood characters that come here, and the vibe is very friendly. This is a model neighborhood business. Please do your part to support them! read more

Found this place while running errands in the area. I was able to submit a printing quote request & order via email. They were able to get the order done the next day and the price was great! Super easy process overall. Would definitely recommend! read more

Very friendly and helpful, next time I need printing services I will be going here. With a little creativity he was able to solve my problem and for a very reasonable price, too read more

It's good to have an independent place like this in the 'hood so I can avoid stupid Kinkos and the ilk. I've popped over here when I need to make copies or scans or simple business cards. Great resource right nearby. read more

I've had business cards and business note cards printed, along with envelopes with return address. They're very helpful and do a great job. Great to have a local shop! read more

Allied P&C is a potential project saver. When it's not saving your ass, it's merely reliable and highly convenient. Their pricing works out to a 10 minute minimum for computer use (by which I mean there's a minimum charge), and the print and copy prices are competitive. read more

Decent copy shop, but not very efficient. I certainly would rather my money go to a locally owned shop but for small copy jobs they're pretty inefficient an THEIR HOURS SUCK. The latest they stay open is 7pm. Maybe it's just me, but I always seem to get there just after they close (5pm, 6pm or 7pm). I've seen them do nice jobs on larger volume professional print jobs for local business though. So I guess it depends on what your needs are. read more

This place rules! Seriously. I really had no idea what i was doing for this advertising project i was working on. The man there worked with me and gave me his full attention to help me figure out what i was trying to do. Even though we had to use trial and error a bit, they both were completely patient with me and didn't charge me at ALL for any unused paper or mistakes that occured. That wouldn't fly with Kinkos where you have to stick your credit card in a a machine and it sucks the money out. Honestly, personal service is FAR better then going to a HUGE store like that. I had no idea this place was so close to where i live and i would TOTALLY reccomend anyone going here for ANY printing needs. Thanks guys!!! read more

Really great customer care. I needed a lot of assistance, and I was treated with supportiveness and professionalism. Everything I needed was handled wonderfully. Helped smooth out what had otherwise been a very hectic day! Thanks! read more

I've been going here for my business and personal printing and copy needs for the past 4 years and have had nothing but good experiences. The owner and staff are always professional and courteous. Last week the owner called me to tell me I had left my USB flash drive there at my last visit a few days ago. He went out of his way to find out who it belonged to! I was very impressed and thankful for this effort! 5 stars when they switch to recycled paper :). I bring my own and they charge me less for prints because it's my paper, but I wish they would make the switch in the store. It's more expensive, but their prices could be increased a tad to adjust for that. read more

This place saved me!! I needed a special last minute print and this was the only one of like ten places I called that was able and willing to help at 5pm on a Friday night. Ibrahim was friendly, patient, and detail-oriented, and I was beyond happy with the final result! Definitely recommend giving this place your business. read more

I was going to be able to email my business cards to get printed, which is nice, but it couldn't be done until Monday, even though it was the beginning of their day on Saturday, and they were open. The biggest thing is that the man on the phone could not give me any kind of pricing whatsoever, nor was there pricing on the website. He insisted that it depends on the artwork and cardstock and other things, which I get, but what is the pricing for the different options? I don't have time to send my files and wait, only to find out that I don't like the price. No pricing, no customer. read more

I visited this place to fax something, but the price was outrageous. $2 to fax one page, plus $1 for each additional page. So instead, I went to the Evanston library, which faxed all seven of my pages for free. Also, the fact that one has to use their on-site computer that charges by the minute is quite stressful. Makes you feel like you need to rush so as not to waste minutes. Since I chose not to use their services, I cannot comment on the quality of their product. read more

Ibrahim offset print my business cards and they turned out well. The price was competitive with digital printing at a competitor. The cards were printed on vellum and required extra attention to ensure the ink did not bleed on the adjacent card in the stack. Well done. read more

The best value and service in town. We've been using them for a couple of years and I should have done a review earlier. In the past we did the usual business cards and regular printing. Recently we asked him to design a larger job with a fold. Ibrahim did a great job with the design template. Now when we have a new listing we send him the info and images and a day later we have the new flyer for the property. I highly recommend him, both for 'regular' printing as well as for any 'special' requirements. read more

I have always been satisfied with the service and products provided by Allied Print. Over 4 years and multiple orders, they have met or exceeded all expectations. My sales rep. is courteous, efficient and always helpful; in an instance where I made a special request, the printer even made himself available to discuss the order. I have recommended Allied Print to colleagues and friends in the past and will continue to do so. Again and again, they're fantastic. read more

Have used this copy and printing shop for many years and would recommend to anyone. They do good work, are timely and professional and will go out of there way to help you out. read more

I will say that the customer service was outstanding. That's about all I can say positive about this print shop. I own a printer that will print up to 13x19 inches and I wanted to get something larger (20x30 inches). I gave them a .png file on a Friday. When I went to pick it up on Tuesday, they hadn't printed it yet. I was told that they could print it right away. Then I was told that the file that I gave them (a .png) was showing up at 72 dpi (very low quality) when converted to .pdf. Apparently, they can only print .pdf which is a very low quality. The resulting prints were embarrassingly bad for a professional print shop. I really liked the guy who helped me but they simply don't have the ability to print high quality art prints. As such, I cannot recommend them. Cheers. read more

It's great to have this locally owned print shop in the neighborhood. The owner has always been very friendly, and I've always been able to print simple jobs quickly. I DO wish they would be more upfront about their pricing -- posting a simple price list would be a good thing. Whenever I've gone in, I feel like he kind of makes up off the top of his head what I owe him. It's never been too unreasonable -- I'd just like to know the price per page. That said, a good place to go! read more

Great local company. I don't normally review my print and copy stores, but I have never been to one with such exceptional service! They were very knowledgeable and patient. Helped me pick out the paper I needed without any issues. Made the whole experience very simple and I will definitely be using them again in the future. Exactly what I needed! read more

Not a good copy shop. I went in wanting to get something quickly printed off my USB and found out I was required to pay to sit at a computer (10 minute minimum charge) and print it myself! Then, when I asked about different cardstock, I was given an attitude like I was hassling them too much. Finally, I needed my pages bound, but apparently the "binding shop" was closed (even though the copy shop was open for another 2 hours) so I could only get a quote. So after all the attitude and lack of service, I decided to go up to Quartet Copies in Evanston. Yes, it's far away (though not too bad on the el), but at least I know I'll get fantastic instant service. read more

This place has been a lifesaver for me for professional projects on more than one occasion. I stopped in on a whim to print four 10"X14" black/white photos from a flash drive. The guy working was friendly but didn't know the equipment all that well. Having said that, I am tech savvy enough to print and did just that without any hassle. He charged me $10 total for all four prints on glossy heavy weight photo paper. I was in and out of the shop in 10 minutes. I previously priced around and would have paid at least $20 for ONE print at the UPS store. I'd definitely go back. read more

I had a great experience with Allied Print and Copy. Whether communicating via phone, email, or in person, customer service was friendly, helpful, and reliable. I ordered 100 color brochures for a great price. I was able to send a copy of the PDF via email, and stopped by to approve a sample that same day. Based on the sample, one of the employees even offered a great tip about changing the font color on one of the panels. I made the change, emailed the new version, and picked up all 100 copies the next day. For a minimal extra fee, I could have had them folded as well. Overall, highly recommended. read more
