Rude as fuck customer service! I just walked in because I got a delivery missed note on my door. All of the customer service reps were busy, so I stood waiting. A few mins later, a man walks in, and comes right in front of me and walks up to the counter as a customer left! I said "excuse me, I've been waiting." He turns around and said "It's just a 10 second delivery!" At this point I look to the cashier, and she takes him ahead of me! (He was NOT a UPS delivery person, or mail carrier) I couldn't believe it! I stood there in shock, then I said "How do you think it's ok to cut around someone like that?" He just rolled his eyes, and left the store, while the cashier said "That's how we all get our packages at Christmas! Deliveries blah blah blah" in a very nonchalant attitude, as if it didn't matter. I didn't yell, but other customers were starting to look, also in shock and embarrassed. I finally tell her, "It doesn't matter that he had a 10 second delivery. That was rude to cut around me, and you allowed him to do it." She just shrugged her shoulders and didn't give a fuck. I looked for a name tag, but she didn't have one. She could be Filipino or similar culture. I hate to describe someone using race, but without a name tag it's pretty impossible. Fucking rude PUTA! Wonderful employees. Fantastic service. Crappiest parking in the valley. I had a mailbox here for a bit, and everyone was beyond helpful. It completely suited my needs and was a great price. The only bad thing about it is how insanely difficult it is to find parking. And most customers will happily take up a dual parking spot with no apologies. So, either park illegally in a nearby parking lot or take a Lyft to get your mail. Other than that, kudos! read more

But, I now live within walking distance of this Toluca Lake location and have been there twice in the past week. I illegally parked my car in the back alley to try and quickly drop my packages off.. instead one of the employees came to the back alley, grab my packages and he came back and gave me my receipt. Most unhelpful rude customer service ever!! I had to mail official passport documents in a specific way as required (using air waybill). I showed the store personnel the official instructions but they were clueless. On top of that they had an carelessly lazy approach like they didn't give two cents. On my persistence to figure out an answer (I knew it was possible from the official instructions), they started guessing and lackadaisically misled me saying I have to print the return label at home. I left the store and called up UPS main number and got my questions answered right away and was moreover told I could do print it at the store itself. I went back to the store and explained the process to them. Instead of appearing apologetic, they proceeded to behave like they are doing me a huge favor by pointing out their print station. When I pointed out, that they were not much helpful right from the start, the girl at the counter got increasingly rude and threatened indirectly not to help me. I immediately left and gave my business to another UPS store. Worst customer service ever!!! I am not angry that they didn't know the specifics on the mailing requirements. I am angry at the fact that they made no attempt whatsoever to figure it out, were totally unhelpful and on top of that, were extremely rude to a customer. read more

I've always had a good customer experience here, which isn't typically the case when you're dealing with shipping companies. I just popped in today to drop off a prepaid bag from ThredUp and they were polite, efficient, and I was in and out in under a minute, receipt in hand. The staff is always friendly and take pride in their work. They have a good selection of packing materials, padded envelopes, boxes, etc. I also noticed used boxes by their trash bin in case you're moving or need one for a package. I've never had to deal with long lines or surly clerks here, which is a good thing! They have a few dedicated parking spots behind Paty's or you can double park directly behind the building or on the side street. read more

These guys must be the nicest and most helpful people in the mail industry! Now that I've moved, I actually drive past at least 4 other UPS stores to go back to this one. Their customer service is just exceptional. They're also incredibly fast; I've seen lines of 10 people or more, completely gone in minutes. Everyone is out the door, with a smile on their face (literally; these guys make you laugh!) The parking isn't great, as there are only a few spots out back. Jeff who works there was really nice and honest which I truly appreciate. Jeff kinda looked like me before I cut my curls off so it was kind of funny to see myself. But he was very honest about the pricing vs usps next door for tracking a envelope. So upset...just went in to return and Amazon purchase with a bar code. Neither of the machienes were working so the lady behind the desk took out a sharpie and asked for my phone number. Started wrting down stuff saying the information was in the computer but they could only scan once and would need to restart the whole system. When i asked for a tracking number or a receipt she couldnt offer me either. Then reaponded with "im trustworthy but whatever " really lady ...i said, i don't know you at all to say if your trustworthy or not ...i had a probelem with a rethrn in the past and had to search for my receipt to prove to the company i did return it so i always want a receiot in case ...what she should have said is i totally understand and im so sorry..... i said i wasnt comfortable without a receipt and she said fine the come back on monday ... PS i wont ever come back to this UPS and her crapy attitude only validated my decision NOT TO TRUST YOU .... someone needs customer service training or a job where she doesnt beed to interact with people. I feel really sorry for the general manager here: HE WAS VERY HELPFUL. I needed something notarized, and he got me right through. His staff on the other hand, consists of a bunch of high school (or possibly just out of high school) kids who spend more time teasing each other with inappropriate profanity in front of customers than they do working. It's really obvious that this poor guy does all the work there himself. I just hope he wasn't the one that hired those kids. read more

So I walked in today (black Friday, day after thanksgiving) was greeted with a smile which was awesome...cause I know it sucks to be open today. I didn't catch the guys name who helped me...but man its hard to find nice people like him nowadays. I am a first time amazon seller and was so confused about the shipping. Really bad customer service. I tried to drop off some USPS packages because I knew they'd be closed by the time I got to one. I had other UPS packages to drop off as well so I thought this would be a convenient option. I've also done this at several other UPS stores before without a problem. This store turned me away after I brought in several boxes. Made me load all the boxes back into my car. Zero concern on their part, and they were rude about it too. I work with a large company and have to go to UPS quite often. Don't bother coming to this one for business or personal deliveries as they are not helpful at all. Parking is terrible too (as others mentioned). Over all major inconvenience in multiple ways. Wish I could give Zero stars. read more

I love UPS Stores, they get you out of the door in no time! I needed to fax something and have it mailed too (yes, some company out there still uses fax machines). I was in & out before I new it. The only problem is they add a surcharge to your stamps and shipping which I don't dig but I understand, it's business. I went in this afternoon to get passport photos for my son and myself. The woman behind the counter tells me she can do mine, but not my sons as the camera won't take his (he is too small). He is almost 3 years old, is tall for his age, and weighs 33lbs. He typically shows up on camera, and is actually quite adept at taking "selfies". What was THAT about? SMH read more

The staff here was useless. One person suggested I drop off a package to the UPS truck "meetup spot" where my package could possibly make the overnight shipping cutoff but I would risk getting the package lost. GREAT SUGGESTION. I'd love a 50/50 chance of my package making it to its destination. Then I asked for the other options to get the package to its destination the soonest. He recommended I send it two-day and had me fill out a new form. Only to find out that was not in fact the quickest way and I came up with my own solution and didn't even need the extra form I filled out, I could just use the same label I already printed. This guy also suggested I go back to my office, print out a new form and then return because it "POSSIBLY" may be a better solution, so do you know your service or not? These guys would do more use just loitering outside the store as opposed to actually working IN the store. If you need to ship something, I'm certain you'd have more success with a carrier pigeon. Highly recommend literally anywhere else but this location. read more

I've had a mailbox at this UPS Store for over 5 years. I have not had one issue in the whole time. The staff is friendly and helpful, often going above and beyond. I am writing this review because I recently had a friend drop off a laptop for me. Not only did the UPS staff hold it for me for over 2 weeks--but it was clearly a laptop and they kept it safe for me. No customers nor employees took it, which tells me the quality of people I am dealing with. I highly, highly recommend this location ! read more

I was with my 2 kids who found a PO box with the number 9 3/4 on it and went crazy. The 2 UPS workers were SUPER COOL and could not have been nicer to my kids. Apparently they only service certain people here if I could I'd give them negative stars. I just purchased boxes to move from the ups literally five miles away, on my way to work today I brought them to this location five from my house. What was insulting was he was judgy and asked where i purchased them. Then when i popped the receipt out I was convenietly told that even though I had a receipt and also my debit card I could not return the boxes because it was purchased with debit card. No where did it say that this isn't possible nor did he say any reason to why I couldn't return these. I Will be writing corporate about my treatment. read more

The UPS Store in Toluca Lake has been our small business address since 1998. Ron and crew have consistently provided A+ customer service from day one. As most busy people, we are never home during the day so we use The UPS Store to receive and sign for all our deliveries. And not just boxes. From Amazon to Walmart, they have received and signed for bulky and usual items including: hot tub covers, pool equipment, giant telescopes, pet crates, sporting and camping equipment, etc. Very responsive and quick to remedy any issues, which have been few and far between. And, they're great if you call inquiring about an important package or letter, and if it's arrived, saving time and energy. They're experts at packing too, saving the hassle of getting bubble wrap and those foam packaging "peanuts" when you want to send "stuff". Even if you don't have a small business, but still have a busy schedule, it's the best way to thwart those dreadful porch pirates by having all your online purchases shipped to The UPS Store where they'll be safe and sound. They also have office supplies, stamps, etc so you can avoid the dreaded lines at the post office. read more

This UPS store is very small but it still offers all the services you would need. There was only one person in the store. He was able to cater to everyone in the store including me all at once. I was in and out in less then 20 minutes! Another major plus it is open for a few hours on Sundays! If I am in the area and in dire need of a printer I will be back! read more

You know service is really bad when you have to create a yelp account... We paid a large sum of money for overnight shipping to Canada of a charger for a medical device. The workers at this UPS location put an arbitrary and expensive dollar value on it, which caused a tax to be added to the package and getting it stuck with customs. This kept it from being delivered until days after what we paid for. I had to assist a coworker in dealing with this package because of how large a mess up it was. After hours on the phone with different UPS stores and corporate offices, I can say without a doubt that the people who work here are rude and careless. Every OTHER UPS store and employee handled themselves with the utmost professionalism. After an hour figuring out the issue with corporate, I called this location. They were extremely harsh and unhelpful. For example: They immediately blamed my coworker and pushed me off the phone saying they would handle it. When my coworker (who actually mailed the package) went in person to try and resolve the situation, he was also made to feel uncomfortable as they whispered to each other about us in front of him. They didn't resolve the issue after the first day of trying, so I called back the next day. Once again, they were immediately hostel. When I insisted they deal with this urgent matter, they mocked me and eventually implied that I was a bitch. I then asked for their full name and to speak to a manager, the phone went dead... I've never dealt with worse customer service in my life. We can all get heated, but a company that you're paying should ever speak to you this way, especially when they mess up. After this, I spent an hour on the phone with UPS corporate and they finally resolved everything while being kind and honest. We will never be using this location again. read more
