I had an excellent experience here! I needed to select flooring for a renovation and my contractor referred me. I met with Kaylin and couldn't be more pleased. My contractor gave her information about what I needed, so she was able to direct me to the right section and let me shop. As I narrowed down choices, she set them aside so I could compare them, thereby making a well-informed decision. She placed them side-by-side so I could get a good view of all of my choices at once. This made it easy to eliminate selections. I was able to learn a lot about my flooring--who knew that I didn't like beveling! I also learned about the great quality I was getting over things I was seeing in big box stores. So what did I choose? It was a tie between two that were very, very similar. Either one would have worked great in my home. So--and please don't judge me--I looked at the manufacturing location and selected the flooring based on the country of origin! (That's how detailed the information on the flooring was!) LOL I'm looking forward to continuing the process with Kaylin for the delivery of my flooring. Please bear with me as context is important. The Tile Shop is right next door to the location my daughters take swim lessons. My husband got home from swim lessons with the girls and realized that my oldest had left her prescription glasses there. I hopped in the car with my 9-year-old and headed straight there. The Tile Shop has a few parking spots that say "for customers only," and I'm always very cautious of not parking there out of respect for their customers, but as my daughter would just be running in and I was letting her go alone, I parked in one of their spots. I was holding my phone about to call inside the swim location because she had been in for a minute or two and I wanted to make sure they were helping her locate the glasses; there was a tap on my driver's side window so I turned and rolled down the window. An employee (named May or Maeve?) was standing there, upset and outraged that I was parked in their spot. I explained my daughter had JUST been gone a few minutes to grab her glasses and I wanted to be as close as possible to watch her as she fetched them (as I'm also raising her to be responsible for her things!). She told me that I wasn't allowed to park there and I said I'd move as soon as my daughter got back. She waved her phone at me and told me she was calling the cops. She walked to the front of my vehicle and proceeded to photograph me and my car as I waited for my daughter. She then walked back inside the store and paced in front of the windows where she either was (or pretended to be) on the phone with the cops. I understand first and foremost that I was parked in their spot. From start to finish, this entire experience was less than 5 minutes between parking and reversing. My daughter hurried out, I made sure she was buckled and had retrieved the glasses, and we were on our way. This employee was not kind. She was not respectful. She didn't give me the benefit of the doubt to even remotely understand why it might be helpful to park there temporarily. There are much more important things for our cops (if they were called) to be dealing with than an employee who should be inside the store doing her job and assisting customers rather than harassing mothers in the parking lot. I have never felt so disrespected in such a short, brief amount of time. read more

I had a HORRIBLE Experience with Tile Shop. STAY AWAY from them. I spent thousands of dollars on Tile. When trying to return some tile not used I was told One box of tile I was not able to return because the box was opened. When I bought the box there were different sizes in the box. Tile Shop staff is kind and very helpful! Carmen, the manager, is patient and very willing to make sure the customer is happy. My design appointment with her was great and brought me a ton of relief because I am indecisive and have no vision! Customer service is top notch, which I am so grateful for because I have an installer that has no customer service and takes no responsibility! I have had to reselect my tile and I have basically gone into this store almost daily for 5 weeks and I am always greeted with a smile and a positive attitude. This store is a complete scam, Sam tried to tell me because I was changing my order they would have to charge me 25% of my total order( which is substantial because it was for 6 baths and 2 kitchens) to change the few things I wanted to change and I would also have to accept the things I didn't still want and after delivery of it all whatever I didn't want I would have to pay them 750 $ for the truck to come pick up the things I didn't want. That was really the last straw for me with this place so I cancelled my order after she told me this which her response to me was well you still have to pay 750$ for the truck. She also said I could not cancel the order my builder would have to call and do it, which he said no problem he would make to happen. I was so upset since I need these within a few days I had picked all this out months ago. She and Michelle the manager told me several times that my builder had paid this invoice several time and I spoke to my builder and his office assured me they had not paid this invoice. They kept telling me through emails and on the phone I could not cancel the order since it was paid for. The company that was doing the install had samples of some of my tiles from the tile shop and Sam was texting with Bruce and saying she wanted her samples returned and Bruce (the installer) agreed he would return them the following day since it was late in the day, then Michelle showed up (with her husband I guess for muscle?) at his office and pushed him grabbed the samples and also pushed his associate and left with the samples. This all sounds hard to believe !!! But there are so many witnesses to this actually happening. I called corporate the next day and was telling them what had happened, the woman I was speaking with said to me "The Tile Shop NEVER charges restocking Fees, change fees or cancel fees EVER and they do not ship anything you do not want nor do they charge you for a delivery truck you do not use" !!!! These people are so unprofessional and scammers. Just walk on by do not use this store. This is just a short version of what all happened read more

Brain dead employees. I walked in promptly For a 4pm design consultation. Stood there for 15 minutes with the 2 employees walking past me multiple without saying anything. Finally someone comes over and I explained I've been waiting for the appointment and the gal said she'd be with me in a few minutes. At 4:25pm after attempting to get their attention multiple times with no success I walked out the door. On my exit the one idiot guy says have a good day sir. Completely oblivious I just wasted 25 minutes of my life in their store and 30 min driving in traffic for a pre scheduled design consultation that never took place. Pathetic! read more

They have a nice showroom so it's good to look at various options. When it comes time to actually buy something it's a big pain. We had chosen some Herringbone pattern subway tiles on a mat to ease installation. We looked in April, went to order in June and not only did they not have any, but they couldn't even find that they ever had any. I bought a sample in April.. I did buy some specialty tiles that big box stores didn't have and some grout. But when I went to them for some color matched caulking I was told they would put it on the next truck. Called back when the truck was supposed to be in, and no caulk, and no one around that knew about the request. In the end, I don't trust them. I think they are disorganized and don't cater to a DIY person, only the pros. I won't be back. read more

They have really cool tile, but they are not cheap. There are so many cool textured tiles that I was looking for and having trouble finding elsewhere, but they were out of my budget for the main part of the project. What I plan on doing is just using them for my accent piece, and getting the rest somewhere else that can keep my final budget in check. The selection is fantastic for that kind of stuff and store is organized to find what you need. **You will wait for what you want, because you have to order it. read more

Shopped all the tile stores in the area and ended up purchasing from The Tile Shop. The staff there are courteous and professional, plus they really know their business. Jason Martin helped us select and coordinate all the tile (4 different sizes and patterns) for our master bath Reno, and really went out of his way to assist us. read more

My wife and I have been taken care of by the manager Addison directly and fantastically. In our efforts to 1. Find the style of stonework we were looking for and 2. Find a company that could provide some helpful answers, we were quite discouraged. Then we found the Tile Shop. Addison was welcoming and knowledgeable. This is probably the tile store with some of the nicest selections I have seen. Service is great. I had some tiles I wasn't happy with upon delivery and my salesperson immediately ordered almost double the amount I needed replaced for me to choose from. Am going back for more! read more
