This is the quality of the Quartzite they sold me a few years ago when I did my kitchen remodel. Azzurra Bay is the name of the product. First stop on our tile viewing journey. Arizona tile, located in north Austin near Highway IH 35 in an industrial area, is laid out very nicely where you could easily see all their tiles quite easily. The sales representative, Gale, was super helpful in pointing us to different types of tile. Their tile types included marble, porcelain and ceramic. They had some very unique designs especially for flooring. The store was very pleasant to tool around in as their air conditioning was ice cold. With 95 degree temperature outside it was a delight to be in Arizona Tile. While Arizona tile has a good selection of tile textures, their tiles were mostly muted colors, i.e, Beiges, tans, whites, off-whites, etc. we only saw one sample that was all color...too much color for us. We are looking for tiles that have with a pop of color. Our bathroom countertops have little speckles of gold. Do we want to play of that color. This was tile company to help narrow out choices. We feel good about where we are in the tile selection journey. We have about six tile companies on the list that we were given by our contractor. Two down.... Four to go. read more

I rarely write reviews, but my experience with this company was frustrating enough that I feel compelled to share. From the beginning, the customer service was disorganized and unprofessional however the real issues began when our order of 5 quartz slabs arrived. One of the slabs was damaged beyond use. After reporting the problem, it took far too long to receive replacements, and even those arrived with issues. It became clear there was a lack of quality control and accountability on their end. As a result, my home remodel project was delayed significantly. Contractors had to reschedule, which led to extra costs I hadn't planned for and I had to find new slabs from a competitor. The entire situation was avoidable with better communication and care from the company. I would not recommend working with this company unless you're prepared to manage delays, chase down your own orders, and budget for the unexpected. read more

Celeste and Rachel working up front were so helpful and kind to me! My husband and I have been building a custom home in Lakeway for 3+ years. On top of the absurd delays we've experienced, our builder has made many mistakes including installing the wrong tile in one section of our primary bath. The originally chosen tile (not from AT) was discontinued so they put something else up without notifying us. This has led me to visit many tile stores in Austin in an effort to find something that will go with the other sections of tile so we don't have to remodel the entire bathroom in a brand new custom home. Although we have not yet found a solution, Arizona Tile has had the best variety, nicest showroom, and friendliest staff I have found in Austin. And no issues with things being on back order. We have used Arizona Tile in a different state for a remodel and were very satisfied with that experience as well. If you're looking for tile, I highly recommend them! read more

Never again. Tile is a commodity that can be bought in a LOT of places. As a real estate broker I've liked using Arizona Tile In the past because I felt like I got a higher level of care and service and due to that I was fine paying a little more than Lowe's or Home Depot where there was no personal touch. I've bought tile here for projects 5+ years now. My most recent project was my personal home and like anyone remodeling their home it's a passion project where we spend a lot of time and energy to pick just the right look and finishes. I found a bright white and black tile I loved and chose the Arizona tile white subway for the tub surround with a light gray grout. The whites would play off each other and the gray grout would have my white subway pop. I emailed ahead my order, I confirmed my order with the cashier and my receipt matched my order the white subway. The person loading my car checked my ticket and loaded me up with the tile. I left the tile and grout at the house for my installer. I was so excited to see my vision come to light. When I went back the next day after work I was so confused as the tile wasn't white. My gray grout blended right into a gray tile. The look was all off and it clashed with my floor. I ran and got my receipt to look again. Says white. I ran and found a box and after looking at all sides I see in very small print in one spot it was a gray. Ugh how could they screw this up. I contacted them to let them know. Heather the managers solution was to give me replacement white subway tile at no charge so basically give me what I already paid for the first time and didn't get. Gee thanks what a generous gesture. It cost me $1500 to have the wrong color tile you gave me installed. I'll have to pay to rip it out and then pay again another $1500 to re install plus the extra time. I let Heather know how unhappy I was with her solution when this 100% was their mistake and it's costing me and how I've been a long time customer. $3k plus out of my pocket to rectify their careless error. Her response....crickets. Austin is a small world. Especially in the broker, contractor, designer world. Had this been your personal home and a project you put a lot of effort into I don't think you'd enjoy flushing $3000 down the drain. Horrible customer service. Floor n" decor, Lowe's and Home Depot here I come for all my future protects. If you are looking for a place that pays attention to details such as giving you the actual color tile you order this is not that spot nor does this place provide any sort of customer service or care after the fact when they mess up. read more

Had a splendid experience finding a quartz slab and backsplash tiles for my kitchen remodel. The person showing me the materials was super knowledgeable, patient, and kept me from going down the wrong path on color choice. Once my crew started installing the backsplash tiles, they "thought" some of the tiles were bowed. I contacted the branch manager, and instead of challenging my issue, they quickly rectified the situation. I later learned that this bow was normal for large format tiles (and it was more on my installers assuming the bow was abnormal). Because of the exceptional customer service I received and solution-oriented approach of the branch manager, my install job wasn't delayed and looks absolutely stunning. Thanks! read more

Bad experience here. Had an appointment to look at countertops. Was passed off between two people. We told both of them our budget and both acted like they had no idea what anything cost. Instead of being shown those within our budget we were led to what I later found out were "exotics". Fell in love with one and left happy. Turns out it was $7K over our budget!!! Went to AG&M two days later - got fantastic service, slabs were well marked to understand what was within our budget, and found several beautiful pieces. If you need countertops AVOID Arizona Tile and go straight to AG&M. read more

Customer service for the tile section not good. I wandered around and finally asked the girl at the front desk for help. She grudgingly got up, knew nothing about repeating patterns, handed me a sample tile and told me to go home, see if it would work and figure out my square footage (I had measurements). We were recommended to Arizona Tile by our interior decorator in Georgetown. Upon entering the huge warehouse rather than feeling intimidated, we were immediately greeted and then introduced to Aaron Flatford, one of their customer service reps. He was warm and friendly and took time to explain the setup of the many large stone slabs, available in marble, quartz, and granite. He then made suggestions based on our chosen colors, and price point, and steered us to a beautiful quartz carrara for countertops. I bought my tile from them last year to redo my entire bathroom. The tile I picked is white and rated for wet areas. It has been less than a year and I'm having to replace tile because the backside got wet and discolored the entire thing. I was told by them that this tile acts like a sponge and absorbs water and because it's white you will see it from front side. Why would you rate a tile that absorbs water like a sponge and can make it appear discolored for a wet area? So disappointed in this. I now have a shower I have to fear to get my tiles wet. read more

I bought a few slabs via my contractor, but I came in person to select pieces. The person who helped me just let me go through the warehouse which was nice, but was nowhere to be found later when I had questions. My impression is they are very busy and maybe contractors are their main gig. Most definitely worth going to because you need to check several places since rock is so unique. read more

If the genuine and gracious welcome from the receptionist and magnificent amount of displays shown across the entire showroom floor don't hint to you that stopping at Arizona Tile may have been the best decision you made all day, another minute of your time only promises to confirm that fact. My wife and I spent hours in showrooms and tile shops all across Austin looking for perfect floors and countertops to complement our new home. We took the recommendations from our builder and others from the family member who has " a guy," but our experience was repeatedly summed up in one of two was. Facilities loaded with inventory and good pricing, but lacking in organization and design services. Or, the overpriced Design "Specialist" who had great products and concepts, but after discussing budgets couldn't get us out fast enough. Almost as if my pickup was taking a spot in the lot reserved for Bentley parking only. Through the advice of a friend outside of Austin, we were turned on to Arizona Tile in Round Rock. We called to inquire about their hours of operation and to confirm that they were indeed open to the public. We were a bit shocked to get a real person on the phone after only a single ring or two and before the call ended, we had a confirmed consultation with their Sales Manager, Heather, the very next morning. The immediate impression as I mentioned earlier was a real WOW factor. We waited no longer than 30 seconds before a team of ladies approached and made their introductions reaffirming the fact that they were here for us. The offer of coffee and or water ensued as we moved to desks that were wisely positioned in the middle of the showroom so that you could absorb all the possibilities that surrounded you. My ADD was in high gear at this point... Once we were settled, their Design Specialist Tina, or "Christina" as it reads on her business card, took the lead and it was immediately evident that this experience was going to be different. After outlining our budget, Tina studied our "wish list" consisting of two dozen Houzz photos and a preference from us to feature natural stone versus porcelains. 90 minutes later we had an amazing proposal for three bathrooms, one of which was my bride's dream master, a kitchen, utility room, stone for the fireplace and two patios that not only delivered the color match we were seeking, but integrated textures that gave each room its own unique feel. Mama was happy, but I will admit that I was guarded. Until this point, getting what we dreamed of meant exceeding the budget. Not so fast my friend, thanks to what I believe is a business model driven by customer service rather than a 15-20% commission structure, our cost of goods came back under budget and the time and efforts put forth by Tina were another extension of those services. Did I mention the massive warehouse where Miss Tiffany's crew moved slabs of granite and quartzite so that we could hand select ours? Not only could the Horns host home football games in here, but trust me when I say it was as clean and well organized as the LBJ Library. Truly a First Class operation start to finish and it was almost enough to have me consider building another house. Almost... By all means shop around, go see your brother-in-law's "guy, Sal." Competition is what drives a successful marketplace and an economy that benefits business and consumers alike. However, after all the meetings with architects, cabinet makers, plumbing specialists and electricians, this is the single component that's gone into building our home that I would gladly do again. Thank You Arizona Tile for expanding into the Austin market and thank you for making customer service one of the pillars in your business plan. Haven't selected our granite yet.. but went there to see the slab... First and foremost the slabs are INDOORS in air conditioned facility. If you have ever tried to look at slabs outdoors in summer in Texas you will appreciate this review. Second service is helpful like very helpful for smallest of questions. This was/is my first project but they were patient and helpful! Great selection of granites and tiles! But most striking feature of this facility that won me over is that it is extremely organized. Heck if I wasn't doing a project I would want to. yes.. that good! read more

There are lots of choices and she was able to narrow down just the right look and price range for me. Last week I visited Arizona Tile to try to find an unusual cut of absorbent stone, such as sandstone, in an unusually small quantity and shape. Kiki there offered me fantastic service. She asked carefully and at length what exactly I was looking for, and why, and though the store didn't have any sandstone in stock, she found various other absorbent stones that met my requirements, and we talked through the various sizes, including considering the option of a smaller but more compact size than I had previously considered but that met my needs perfectly. She worked carefully to listen, help me consider all my options, find me appropriate samples, and then got me an unbeatable price. This was a big deal for me, and I very much appreciate her consideration, thorough knowledge, and unusual effort to help me find just the right solution. Kudos to Kiki! read more

My wife and I were remodeling our master bathroom and looking for tile and countertops around Austin. Most of the places we went into offered little to no attention or were so disorganized that it caused us to get overwhelmed. All this changed when we went to Arizona Tile and met with Stacey. We entered the showroom and it felt airy with all of the tile organized in its proper place giving a great selection to choose from. Stacey helped us in figuring out our colors and textures that we utilized in our bathroom remodel. Arizona also has a great selection in countertops which one can walk through to view in their air conditioned warehouse. Arizona offered reasonable pricing and worked with our contractor in setting up in account for them.
