The kitchen worked with lightning speed, Fulfilling every takeout need. The drunken noodles tasted great, Though smaller than I'd anticipate. I chose Thai spicy, brave and bold, But found the heat a bit controlled. More noodles, more spice--that's my plea, Then this would be five stars from me. read more

I ordered for the first time here through DoorDash and made a couple adjustments. I noticed two added charges on my bill. One for extra chicken which was legitimate and the other to hold the tomatoes on the fried rice. Really? An added charge to take an ingredient out? Super cheap. The food was ok, portions small and prices high. To top it off, 2 out of 3 of us threw up the next day. Granted, I'm not sure if it was due to the food but I had to throw out the leftovers just in case. Never again. read more

Really good Thai food. One of the few Thai places where I actually prefer the red curry over the green curry but I've tried so many different things on this menu and honestly loved them all. Great food overall' read more

Good food. Very nice ambiance. Delicious and fun staff. Very convenient in the area as well

We enjoyed our Pad thai and thai ice tea here in Thai Kitchen. The curry was also yummy that filled our tummy. Though the portions are smaller than other thai restaurants, the quality of the dishes were a lot better. The service was great and the staff were friendly. We went around lunch time and the ambiance was not busy at all. Food came in fast and we had a good time enjoying our meal. read more

Always fabulous - gluten free spring rolls! YEAH! I have order there for ages - always terrific

Operating in the old Fish Taco space & mirroring almost the same layout...overall Much Ado About Nothing. The welcoming & service was dry, the offering represents just ok & basic Thai Food. The prices matches the quality & portions of the menu. You'll definitely get what you paid for & be specific that you're eating in or your food will be brought out in To-Go containers. I'll stick to my normal Thai spots in the vicinity, which is Bethesda, not Chevy Chase as listed. read more

Husband and I ordered food and two drinks. My husband received his tea but I didn't get my can ginger ale that we asked for and thought we paid for. However, upon us getting ready to leave the owner begins shouting at me I didn't pay for the can soda and pointing at me. The cashier was apologetic that he didn't ring us up for the soda. Accidents do happen we did pay for the soda however, I will not return to the establishment because of the way the owner handled the situation. it's so great and so friendly me and my friend have been trying to look for a good Thai food place!!!! I recommend.

The food is good, ambiance is very casual and cashiers usually warns you to return plates to the counter next to the WC area. Service is ok! Removed one star due to the following reason: For the last three times we visited this place I have to admit that hygiene & cleaning needs to be emphasized! Please clean your tables properly. Everything sticks to the table including napkins, plates as well as arms if you happen to put them on table while waiting for your order to be served. read more

I guess I should have listened to the reviews.. Ordered the massamun curry and it was very bland. I've ordered this dish many times and this is the first time I've ever had to season my own curry after ordering it from a restaurant. I forced myself to finish it since I paid for it. Maybe some of the other dishes are better, but you've been warned.. read more

We loved our dinner from here! Tried the chicken pad thai which you can't go wrong with, and the drunken noodles which was the perfect level of spice and had plenty of tofu. We also had the stir fried veggies which was good, and the massamun curry was very flavorful and went well with the rice. read more

We were looking for a moderately priced lunch. Relatively easy parking (on a Sunday afternoon), restaurant was completely empty so seating was instant and service was good. We all liked the food, definitely something I wouldn't (couldn't) make myself, but we all agreed that we'd choose to elsewhere before returning to this restaurant. Their food was good, just not good enough to really want to go back. Thus the 3 stars. ($40 for 3 people) read more

From the owners of Thai Express in Gaithersburg, this is a needed fast casual Thai restaurant in the heart of Bethesda. I was happy to see that 15 minutes transpired before the food was brought. Clearly, fresh ingredients were cooked to order. And it showed in the freshness of the dishes. We had the Shrimp Pad Thai. The noodles were light, with a nice mix of bean sprouts, crunched peanuts, eggs, and scallions. The flavor was correct for this dish. The Shrimp were six moderately sized pieces. They were properly cooked, but I would have liked them better if they were grilled first. Our other dish was the Chicken Green Curry. Two chili peppers on the menu loomed large, but we went for it. I would put the heat at maybe six out of 10. Although very noticeable, it did not obscure the coconut curry taste. The chicken was moist and tender, bathing in that nice curry broth. Orders were taken at the counter, and brought to the table. 9 tables, and a small counter with seating, were easily filled on this busy Saturday night. Deservedly so, since this is a conveniently located, reasonably priced venue serving up tasty Thai. read more

This place HANDS DOWN has the best Thai food in the downtown Bethesda area. The portions are great and they charge less than other sub-par Thai places in the area. Their flavors are infused with the freshest ingredients - none of that artificially bottled or powdered stuff. They also always get the orders correct - even with special instructions - which is important during COVID. I've ordered their pad thai. It is absolutely delicious. The noodles are still chewy (i.e. asian al dente) and the flavors are authentic. MUST ask for the chili powder if you like the extra kick! Their drunken noodle is also equally delicious. It has the perfect amount of spice and you can really taste the Thai basil flavor mixed with the fresh garlic in their seasoning. The pineapple fried rice is also an excellent choice. The rice is not oily/greasy at all. Plenty of pineapple pieces in there for that sweet & savory flavor. A MUST TRY FOR THAI! read more

This really hit the spot. Since it's fast casual vs full service restaurant I wasn't expecting it to be as good as it was. I got take-out and the order was ready 20 minutes later with napkins and utensils ready in the bag. I got the chicken green curry with added vegetables and it was very good. I got "medium" spicy which was a bit spicier than I expected. Would probably go lighter next time. But flavor was great. My bf got the chicken krapro which he also really enjoyed but also thought "medium" spicy was quite spicy. We got spring rolls which were crunchy and good. Overall really enjoyed and will definitely be going back and trying more! read more

Very well set up takeout operation the drunken noodles are best in the area. Great Penang curry

Admittedly, I haven't found any Thai food in the area that's blown me away so take this review with a grain of salt. The food wasn't bad but was a bit bland and lacking in flavor. This was below average to the Thai food that I'm accustomed to but was pretty on par to the surrounding area. The prices were a bit better than the rest which gave it a small let up. If you're an avid eater of Thai food you'll likely be unimpressed but if you're looking for good prices and OK food this will get the job done. read more

I have ordered from this place numerous of times via Grubhub and other food delivery services. I sang my praises on each of those apps I decided to regurgitate my experiences via Yelp! I ordered once and my order included the papaya salad. I received it and it was rancid however, I called them and told them about it and they mentioned they will pull the salad from their fridge and offered me a concession. I am so glad I didn't let the first time ruin my opinion or experience here. I absolutely love Thai! I decided to try it again. Not only have I used the delivery services, I have also picked up my order numerous of times Pick-up: The store is extremely clean and well lit. The décor is maybe... "Cali vibes"...its rustic not very traditional for a Thai Restaurant but it's cute and inviting. They are friendly and are accurate in fulfilling the order. I love the simple and easy way you can order food. Delivery: I am not sure if their drivers are set on a timer but each and EVERY time I have used delivery services, my food arrived piping hot. Like they cooked it in the car! LOL! No matter what I order, it is extremely fresh and crispy! The thai spring rolls always arrive with the same crisp and steam. I often hate ordering for delivery since your food is soggy due to condensation in the containers but this place is the complete opposite! What I've order? I have had the thai spring roll, pad thai with chicken druken noodles, pad see ew , , ka prow all extremely tasty and extremely fresh! The Thai iced tea is good too! The lemon grass soup is also good as well! Perfect for a cold day in the DMV! read more

First time there. The food was decent, but the cleanliness of the place and the hygienic behavior of the staff needs serious improvements. We went for lunch and the cashier's half eaten lunch was right next to the order counter. Someone else kept running their hands thru their hair and also eating where the food comes out. Lots of kitchen staff touching their mouthes and noses in the back. The worst part is that a cook emerged from the kitchen walking toward the front of the restaurant BRUSHING THEIR TEETH! It was disgusting to witness while I was eating my lunch. They need to be educated and trained in working in a commercial kitchen. I don't think I will go back because of this. read more

Do yourself and your wallet a favor and skip this place. I ordered the garlic pepper stir fry for $12. I paid $3 more for shrimp. And another $1 for brown rice. What a joke. There's barely one cup of vegetables. I was so surprised at the anemic portion I actually measured it. I'm so frustrated. What a waste of money. I pulled out a bag of frozen vegetables to make up the difference because this clearly won't be filling as is. read more
