Chicken Satay App
I Love Cupakes I.

Picked up Chicken Satay app and Pad Thai w Pork carry out. The restaurant is small but lots of tables and a 6-8 stool bar and separate carry out kiosk. The interior was extremely clean and my order was taken right away. The Chicken Satay was very good and the peanut dipping sauce was needed for additional flavor. The Pad Thai w Pork was outstanding but very very little pork mostly noodles. Prices are market however at $19 for the Pad Thai I felt that was very high with the portion of Pork being so limited.

Tuesday 3/26/2024 I made a pickup order through DoorDash and got the drunken noodles with chicken $15.95 and the Thai fried rice with chicken $15.95. - drunken noodle * it's a bit spicy but it left me with a weird stomach feeling that I did not like. - Thai fried rice * this was pretty mediocre as the dish tasted bland with no flavor to it. Overall, the Thai here is not very good and you're much better off going with Thai house in Gaithersburg if you want Thai food. The food left me with an uncomfortable feeling in my stomach and I wouldn't come back.

I liked this place! Generous portions, quick service, The lemongrass tofu is particularly excellent. I often find panang curry too sweet at most other Thai restaurants, but theirs is just right. I'm a fan.

If you're looking for great Thai food, look no further. This place has delicious food and great service. I've dined in a few times and have done take out. They pride themselves on using food from all 4 Thai regions and the dishes are authentic. My last visit, me and my guest both had the Panang Chicken. We paid $3 extra for veggies to be added also. The portions was generous and the curry was delicious - warmly spicy, but not overpowering. We also had a Spring Roll appetizers (4 in one order). These were tasty also - not greasy, nicely crunchy. For dessert, we tried their special on the board - it was a fried banana in rice flour and sesame, drizzled with a sauce (tasted like honey). This came with enough for 2 and was amazing. We both took home leftovers. We went on a Wednesday night, there was only one other table occupied but several people came in for take out orders. Highly recommended. Also they have other restaurants in Silver Spring and Gaithersburg.

This place it so close to where I live, I'm surprised it has taken me this long to try it out and I'm so glad I did because they have pretty good Thai food. Im interested in coming back to try more things. My brother and I came in for an early dinner, so it was empty and peaceful. As dinner progressed, more tables started slowly filling up. The interior is cute. You can tell they had fun decorating the place and adding eclectic pieces around the restaurant making it unique to their own style. The curry puffs were so good that all I have left in front of me is an empty plate because I surely dig in too fast before I was able to take a photo. The spring rolls were filled with cabbage, which is not my preference, so I specifically would not order those again here, although they were still enjoyable! I typically prefer the viet or Filipino style (lumpia) spring rolls typically filled with some type of meat and root vegetable. The drunken noodles were delicious! You can never go wrong with those. I also got a curry dish and it was delicious. It reminded me of homemade Cambodian curry that any of my aunts would make at home. My brother got crispy basil pork and wow, they actually used pork belly! We were both surprised because it did not clarify pork belly on the menu but it was surely a pleasant surprise because who doesn't love pork belly?! All in all, I would surely come back here for my next Thai food craving! Spring r

Green Curry? oh please amazing!

Let's see - Food - we started with the Siriwan version of Chicken wings. The sweet chili sauce was out of this world! Lunch - Singha Beer (lots of memories in the bottle for sure!). I lived in Thailand when I was a kid, so Singha is Beer in many aspects for me! Green Curry - there are three types of Thai Curry, Green is my favorite. Excellent preparation, good mix of coconut milk and spicy! Egg Rolls and Chicken Sate were pronounced brilliant by my dining partner in crime. Parking, for the Germantown location, is simple and easy. That got them to five stars. Walking out and seeing the pictures of the 4 quadrants of Thailand made me wish I could give them six stars! The only thing I will note for my next visit is to ask for the Curry Thai hot. It is americanized so the two pepers is really closer to what I would call mild.

25. Pad Thai Noodles (tofu)

I've ordered take out twice and satisfied both times. I've ordered the pad thai and drunken noodles and flavors and portion sizes are good. There was one time when I came at the order finish time, I still had to wait an additional 10 minutes.

Pad Thai is really good here!

It was my first time to this restaurant and I was in the area. I was craving Thai food all day but I had to get to my winter league at Top Golf. I had some time so I thought I would run into Wegmans and noticed this restaurant at the corner of my eye so I decided to check it out. I'm so glad I did. The food , service and decor are great. I'm very picky about my Pad Thai and although they use a thinner noodle than I'm used to, the taste was amazing. Tofu Tod is always a winner. I think I'll be stopping by every week before or after Top Golf!

Drunken Noodles with Chicken... get it spicy!!

Thai food is my ultimate comfort food. I finally decided to give my Sabai Sabai a break and try this place. They finally reopen for take out. I ordered over the phone, the woman seemed friendly. Too bad no lunch specials. I ordered a safe dish to start, drunken noodles with chicken and thai tea. It was kinda of expensive for what i got. Most places this dish ranges from $10-14 with huge portions. My dish: drunken noodles with chicken. What I love was my noodles were wide but not fat wide like other places, and my noodles were sliding! Most places the noodles stick together in a large quantity. Im not a fan of steamed tomatoes unless its in a Italian dish. I asked for medium spicy and should have requested just spicy. My portion was small, but it was good. My thai tea, absolutely refreshing and just what I needed to cool down from the heat. Ill definitely return.

Our first time eating at this restaurant. Got seated right away. Newly opened at the location. Ordered a Thai Iced Tea, Chicken Wings, Papaya Salad, Thai Fried Rice, Pad Woonsen, and Green Curry with 2 Sticky Rice. Food was very tasty! Much better than expected. Liked the seasoning, spice level and ingredients. Flavorful to our taste buds. Service was excellent! Just that the Thai Iced Tea was very sweet, much sweeter than what we're used to. Maybe too much sugar was put in it. Inside is kind of small, so you may have to wait if it's really packed. A little pricier than other Thai restaurants around the area and portions are a little smaller, too.

Cockroach's in my carry out bag. Completely disgusting! They never closed down once I called and complained.

They have a cockroach infestation and never shut down once I called and complained! Called the health department but never heard back. Buyer beware!!

Chicken and rice with a yummy dipping sauce

I've been to Sirwan about 3 or 4 times now and I'll say it's good for Germantown to have another thai place to finally provide some company(healthy rivalry?lol) to Sabai Sabai. Some standouts from my visit have been the calamari, the grilled beef salad, kua kling. But my favorite dish might have been the crispy tilapia with the spicy basil sauce. It's a nice numbing spice level, but definitely do go thai hot, if you cannot handle spicy food. The chicken wings could be better. I've had thai chicken wings other places where it's fried and crispy but still doused in some sweet chili sauce concoction. Here the wings were just fried, and you are giving a dipping sauce to dip into. I much prefer the saucy version of thai chicken wings. All in all a good place and addition to the area. Not too expensive, and food comes out relatively quick.

I'm usually not someone to like Thai but I really enjoyed this restaurant!…read more The fresh spring rolls were indeed very fresh and yummy! I liked the sauce- it was interesting. The fried spring rolls were super! And good the sauce was too. The Thai and lychee and Thai tea are spectacular. The best Thai tea I've had perhaps. Veggie dumplings are also SPECTACULAR!!! Red curry panang was Super good and coconut flavored . It was a bit too strong and rich for me but definitely good. Shrimp black pepper was good! Pad Thai with tofu so good!!! The peanut hint was delicious and the noodles had a perfect texture Pad kaprow was pretty good and a little spicy. The drunk noodle was ok. Not crazy about the noodle texture but the chicken on its own is ok. The combo of the noodle chicken and veggie isn't bad but I'm not crazy about it because of the noodles. The beef is a bit too chewy and I'm not crazy about the taste (bland). All in all the main dishes were very good and so were the apps!

The restaurant had a nice selection of Thai cuisine. We ordered the wonton soup and the dumplings, pork and chicken, both were flavorful and fresh. I ordered the pad kapow with fried tofu and chicken medium spice. Everything was cooked perfectly and very nice flavors. My fiancé got the chicken with mushrooms and ginger. I think the ginger for him was a little too strong. We'll have to find him something next time the staff was very friendly. They've been open about a year and a half. We definitely will return

The vibes inside are very bright and colorful. I love the decor in here. It is so cute and eye-catching. The decor alone makes the entire meal feel like an experience. I was torn, so I ended up ordering small plates and a Thai iced tea. Thai tea: on the sweeter side, but very good - more orange than red or brown.IYKYK Crab and shrimp dumplings: good. I think I would've preferred them with soy sauce instead of the sweeter sauce, but these were good. Great the next day, too. Chive pancake: pretty good. This was my first time getting an entire order for myself and I don't think I would do it again because it's not my thing, but I won't knock it simply because it's not my preference. Tom ka: this soup was so damn good. It says spicy, but it really wasn't that spicy. However, it was incredibly flavorful and addicting. I probably could've had just one huge bowl of that. They charged one dollar extra for shrimp, which I didn't love, but it was worth it. There were three pretty good size shrimp in that one little bowl. For everything pictured, I think I paid like 32 or $35. Honestly, not bad. The service was very attentive and the restaurant was clean.
