Delicious food! It's consistently good whether dining in or ordering carry out. Try the entire menu.

Still our go to spot for Thai food. The parking can be a bit difficult during high times like Friday night, but if you can get parking and a table, the hardest part of the night is over. The food here is great and not too overpowering. It can get spicy though so I would stick with level 2-3. Any higher and you'll sweat. I personally love the spicy eggplant at level 1-2 and the Plad Ttod with the red curry sauce at level 2 and the Kee Mao noodles at level 2. The Basil Fried rice is also a solid choice at level 2. The one thing I do have to commend to this place is the fact that they did not skimp on amount/pricing in this current economy. We have been coming here for several years now and besides the COVID increase in prices, they haven't increased any further. The service here is good and when it gets super busy, it is understandable to have to wait a bit, but overall great and love the staff. The inside is relaxing. It is a bit small, but it's not that big of a deal unless you're that table with 5 kids and 6 adults on a Friday night. Pretty much took up most of the restaurant. A lot of people tend to do take out here so there can be a bunch of people near the door, but don't be afraid. They might just be standing and waiting to grab an order to go.

When you ran out of time to that meat and cook dinner in a timely manner and want something cozy and warm what do you do? Go get Thai food of course! We're always excited to try a new Thai place (and compare who makes the best Tom Ka Gai) and I love sampling the different spice levels. After reading reviews I decide to start off trying the medium spice (#2 of 4 levels) with extra spice sauces brought out on the side. What we got: Curry Puffs - 5* the dough was fantastic! And it's made in house!! I *kinda* tried to get the recipe, but who am I kidding, I'll just come back and order it instead. We enjoyed doing the puffs into my curry (Gaeng Karee Goong) instead of the sweet sauce it comes with, though that was also good. Tom Ka Gai - 3* make sure to stir the soup before you take a sip! My first sip was pure coconut milk which was not what I wanted. After a quick stir though the soup base delivered a savory flavour. Unfortunately it quickly became too acidic. On top of that, we weren't fans of the chicken (too dry) or mushrooms (not cooked enough). Pad See Ew - 5* the flavour was divine, the broccoli crunchy (wishes there was more), the noodles perfect and the beef well done. Would definitely recommend this one. Gaeng Karee Goong - 5* tried the medium spicy (#2) and that with the temperature level was a glorious combination, runny nose and all. As the dish cooled down the spice seemed to even out. Not sure if I'll try spicy (#3) next time or not. Spice aside this dish was fabulous. The potatoes and onion hit the spot. The chicken still wasn't my favourite but it wasn't as dry as the soup's chicken so a win there.

I've been to this Thai restaurant many times. I love the authenticity of their food. I recently took my family there for lunch, and they loved it. The prices are affordable, and the food is absolutely delicious. The staff are amazing.

From the moment you step in, you are warmly welcomed by all the staff. The food was delicious, from the fresh piping hot spring rolls, pad thai, spicy panang curry, beef pad see ew, to their delicious desserts, the perfectly sweet mango sticky rice, freshly made fried banana roll and Thai ice tea with bubba. Plenty of food to share and take home for the next day. All meat was tender and everything was cooked to perfection.

This place is hidden gem off the highway where there's a dearth of authentic Asian food off of 270 between Frederick and Rockville. I was impressed by the decor as it certainly seems like a place that could be found in Thailand with authentic pieces. More than anything, the flavors were solid. The spices were on point as you'll have to ease off the gas pedal with the level of spice. I wholeheartedly recommend this place for lunch if you're in the area and needing hearty authentic grub.

Happen to be in the area for work and jumped on Yelp to find some good eats, grabbed some takeout. Service - was friendly, courteous and food came out quick for pick up. And they will ask you spice level for each item. Food: Curry Puffs - very flavorful and well cooked highly recommend Papaya Salad - it was tasty and good, not the best I have had but solid. Small portions Basil fried rice with shrimp was seasoned well and tasty. I was looking forward most to the Garlic Basil Fried Chicken-- flavor was good but the pieces of chicken were very small and not much meat. Unfortunately couldn't eat right away so it got soggy so I highly recommend you eat in restraint or eat quickly as the steam will soften the chicken.. Large portion

Whenever I get regular spicy at a Thai place I normally expect to be hit with a kick of spice that hits the tongue. Except here everything was just so sweet it made me somewhat nauseous. Most of the soup dishes had similar based of noodles, protein and herbs. Unless you enjoy overly sweet dishes this wasn't for me as I'd prefer a spicy yet savory kick in my Thai dishes with a slight sweetness. It shouldn't be overpowering. Papaya salad reg spice was sweet. No kick whatsoever. Just papaya shaving, some iceberg lettuce at the bottom and some halved grape tomatoes. Khao soi noodle soup a sweet curry broth. A bit too sweet. Also got it with a tempura chicken but it was mostly fried wonton skin and barely any chicken. Chicken was also dry and hard. Tom yum noodle soup A creamy yet spicy "tom yum" broth. It has somewhat of a kick but for regular spice level it was still too sweet. Even with all the red pepper flakes. It was also missing the lemon grass scent in most tom yum soups I'm used to. Thai noodle soup The only non-spicy dish. Broth was a clear base that was somewhat better after all the sweet dishes. But a little bland. Thai green tea was good though. Just a bit sweet but need to be drank with ice.

Red curry panang was Super good and coconut flavored . It was a bit too strong and rich for me but definitely good. Shrimp black pepper was good! Pad Thai with tofu so good!!! The peanut hint was delicious and the noodles had a perfect texture Pad kaprow was pretty good and a little spicy. The drunk noodle was ok. Not crazy about the noodle texture but the chicken on its own is ok. The combo of the noodle chicken and veggie isn't bad but I'm not crazy about it because of the noodles. We each had the soup, which was seasoned well and had mushrooms and tender chicken. A decent soup. Not the best I've had, but good, and impressive as an accompaniment with the $12.95 lunch special. Several people in the restaurant had salads in front of them - the salads all looked good and were a nice size, with lettuce and carrot. I got the green curry with veggies. I was impressed by the amount and variety of veggies - green and red pepper, mushrooms, carrots and broccoli. The green curry sauce was spicy, but not overpowering. The rice that came with it was steamed white rice (which I'm thinking was over steamed, because it seemed to have absorbed a lot of water and was really boring). Unfortunately, the curry sauce, which was good, couldn't overcome the boringness of the rice. So instead of mixing the curry sauce in with the rice and eating it, I left about half the rice. It might make sense to opt for the brown rice, although it costs extra and might have the same issue depending on how it's prepared. My partner got the Pad La Pow with pork. They said it was very good, but not spicy as advertised. (It's advertised as having two stars of spiciness - the most on the menu). I'll try the place again. The soup was decent with a good amount of chicken, and the green curry was good with lots of veggies. Although I'll probably try something different to avoid the bland rice. The place is very nice inside. The server was excellent. We were seated next to a group where one of the individuals spoke very loudly, and the server came over discretely and asked if we'd like to move, which we did. And his service for the rest of the meal was very attentive (i drink a lot of water, and I judge a lot of service by how many times my water glass gets refilled - great job today) and friendly. The price point for the lunch special - $12.95, is excellent.
