Really good Thai restaurant that has a great lunch special too. I've been here a few times in the past month and it's always been good. Location is nice too as it's fairly quiet around the area yet nice inside the establishment.

Food was delicious and at a great price! I had the L5 garlic chicken lunch special and it was very flavorful. Staff was friendly and seems to be a local spot with a lot of regulars. I will definitely return when I'm in the area.

Pad Thai and vegetable rolls. Thai coffee was delicious.

Delicious food with generous portions. Service is excellent our waiter was prompt and responsive. We had our 3 year old granddaughter with us and the waiter was very kind and gave her animal crackers at the end of the meal. He also provided her with a pink fork and pink plate to put her lunch on and she loved the special attention. Our drinks were delicious and everything was presented beautifully. We will return. This is an outstanding restaurant located in King Farm.

Nice big restaurant with lots to choose from on the menu. The crispy noodles weren't my favorite, it looked like a block of rice crispy treats. The kapow is bomb though - I would come back for that. Good service, the place is clean and lots of parking in the lot.

Delicious Thai food! I love their curry. Service is good and quick. I can't speak for the ambiance because I've only gotten takeout here. Recommend!

Came here for lunch during the week and there was no wait. The restaurant is located on the bottom floor of an office building. Depending on how the GPS routes you, you may not see it right away. We ordered the Fried Calamari for appetizer. It was very crispy and came with spicy sauce for dipping. For our meals, we ordered the drunken noodles with chicken, crispy tangy chicken, and the lunch special Kapow Gai which came with two veggie rolls. Everything taste delicious. Seems like the crispy chicken and calamari were fried with the same type of batter.

This business is consistently a 5 star experience. From the food to the customer service this businesses exceeds expectations time after time. I have been frequenting Farmsook regularly because I got my coworkers hooked on their $12 lunch meal which includes an entree and 2 spring rolls. The food is made so quickly and is always piping hot when I pickup and bring the meals back to work. Additionally Farmsook's hospitality is beyond compare. Once I was picking up 8 meals for my coworkers and they emptied a box for me to use to carry all the meals out to my car. They are so attentive to their customers and it has made me a regular customer. Their flavors are phenomenal and they have so many vegan options! All their meals except for their curries can be veganized. Their website even had a "make it vegan" button when ordering online. Additionally I have left notes about making sure my meal is vegan and they always read it and I have never been given a nonvegan meal. My most frequently purchased meal from them right now is the Pad Ka Pow Gai Sub with tofu. It is spicy, has bell peppers and green beans, and the Thai basil is perfection. I love how vibrant the flavors are and the portion size keeps me feel for my whole work day. Thanks Farmsook for being a great local business to support and cannot wait for my next meal.

THIS PLACE IS INCREDIBLE!! Service? ON POINT Food??? OUT OF THIS WORLD DELICIOUS!! My mom and I went during a slow Friday lunch break and it was so savory ! We ordered the drunken noodles, Thai green curry, and papaya salad to start. The waitress was nice and kept checking in on us to ensure we enjoyed our food. The papaya salad can be ordered to spice level of choosing. We chose medium and boy, are we glad we did! It was perfectly spicy and I don't think we could've handled it any hotter. The Thai tea was delicious and not too sweet. The inside was nice and quiet and they were playing nice lounge music too. I will definitely be back soon !

Came here for the first time after school with my friend and you honestly cant find any good thai food around thats affordable and delicious. I tried the valcano fried rice because im a fan for spicy food and when i tell you its SPICY it is lol, i definitely recommend that to those who are into spicy food it was so delicious. I also tried the ramen drunken noodles with fried chicken, it was really good aswell 10/10. The service was also great :) our server was really funny and nice and attentive to our needs. The place is nice aswell very spacious and comfy will be coming back and definitely recommend checking this restaurant out. I also love the parking infront of the store it is super convenient!

Happy to see his nood soup still killing it and winning awards. Order the #1. Add some chili oil. Try a side or two. That's all you need. I got the Scallion Oil Noodles - chewy, hand pulled noodles in a smooth oil dressing. Pair it with the chili oil kimchi for a nice contrasting crunch. My favorite, however, was the Tofu with Century Egg Salad - a small bowl with cubes of soft tofu and quartered century egg and chili oil. Lots of textures and tastes thrown into a tiny little bowl. Be careful - as proof that this place is authentic, their "vegan" vegetable tofu noodle soup is served in beef broth. But once you hammer out the details of the ingredients, the taste is worthwhile. Plenty of others feel the same way - we arrived when they just opened for the day, so we got a seat, but by the time we left, there was a line out the door. If you haven't tried Chopin Noodle House yet, you're missing out!

Ordered the beef combo knife slice noodle soup, pork soup dumplings, pork wontons with homemade spicy sauce, and the pan fried pork buns. The pan fried pork buns were the clear MVP here, perfectly crispy on the outside with that satisfying crunch, but soft and fluffy inside. Super filling too, which is always a win in my book. The beef noodle soup was solid comfort food with good portions, and the dumplings hit the spot. Only minor thing - I wished the "spicy sauce" had more kick to it. Could've used some extra heat, but that's me being picky. For the price and portion sizes, this place delivers (pun intended). You're getting a solid amount of food that actually tastes good. Would definitely order again, and those pork buns are going to be a repeat item for sure.

Was feeling hangry because I had planned on stopping at Hard Times for a bowl of chili -and found out they were closed on Mondays. So, pretty much pulled a name out of a hat and would up at Chuan Tian Xia because, well, Szechuan cooking uses chiles, no? Yesssss! I ordered Signature Dumplings and a bowl of Beijing-style Beijing-style Zhajiang Noodles. The dumplings were outstanding: a mix of shrimp, pork, and chive that were plump, juicy, fragrant with the herbaceous flavor of chives. The accompanying sauce was not too sweet, not too hot, just right as a complement to the dumplings. Yowza. I was a happy camper... ...and then I dug into my noodles. Double yowza! Thick wheat noodles topped with a rich sauce made from (I think) fermented soybean paste and braised pork belly, garnished with cucumbers. The portion was way to big for me to eat after my flight, but I really, really enjoyed it (and the remaining dumplings) for lunch today. Did I say yowza? I'm an adventurous eater so the menu's less Americanized items were what I would have ordered given more time (like Maoxuewang: can you say "pig's tongue, spam, pork intestine, and beef tripe"? Protein is protein, baby!). Just means I need to come back, and I will, as quickly as I can.

I have kept this place in the back of my mind, with fond memories, however, have not visited in some years due to multiple moves around the country. Recently, my friend was organizing a casual gathering for our friend group, and asked ChatGPT if there were any good recommendations for food in the area that was affordable and delicious, and A&J came up as a top choice. So I came back to A&J after almost 10 years, and the food was just as good as I remembered. The decor remained simple and unchanged, but this is very typical of Asian restaurants. The menu was large, and it's easy to order by circling items you want on the paper menu. We had a mix of noodle soup bowls (so many different flavors and styles) and appetizers, and everything we tried was delicious. Our bill came out to less than $25 per person with tip. I could imagine more pretentious Chinese restaurants downtown upcharging a lot more for lower quality Chinese food (Queen's English, for example). It was so good and affordable, that I actually ended up coming back the next day with a different friend. Overall, excellent experience, and I will be back again soon! One interesting tidbit, my coworker who grew up in the Midwest and only eats meat, potatoes, absolutely no vegetables, started going here for lunch and loves it. I think flour-based items (noodles, dumplings, buns) are really the star of the restaurant, and this can be enjoyed across different taste palates! I hope you will give this place a try.
