I ordered a meal for delivery the other day and The Taco Project came as a suggested listing. I have never heard about it before so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a chicken burrito and chicken quesadilla through Uber Eats. The food came in about forty minutes or so. It was still warm and edible. I liked the large bag it came in. Way to promote your brand The Taco Project. The burrito and quesadilla were very good. The portion sizes are good for the price. We were able to eat enough and still have some saved for leftovers. It was a great meal to enjoy during a winter weekend. Once everything gets warmer again I will be making a trip up to check out the restaurant in person.

I had the chicken tacos and strawberry margarita. This is my second time eating here and it was great. The service is top notch! The staff checks in to make sure everything is fine. The food is flavorful. Drinks are strong.

I was in the area and wanted to go to a neighboring restaurant that had closed. I ended up here because it was open and close by. I'm glad I stopped here. I had the chips and salsa and a burrito. They have an array of items on their menu. I can't wait to try out more of their options. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have bar stools, high top tables and regular dining tables inside. The inside is cozy and has a great ambiance. I can't wait to come back here!

Ordered via Grubhub and never again The Food. I normally order tacos on Tuesday for Taco Tuesday from my local taqueria. This day, i decided to "spice" things up and try a new one. 1 order of Tacos al pastor. It comes with 2 tacos for $12.. over priced to begin with. The pork was not even cut, it was literally from the feeezer to warm up and serve. Look at my photo. No pineapple either. 1 order of tacos de chorizo. This was the driest taco ever in my life.. The service was fast but obviously they cut corners Ambiance: none as i asked for delivery. They get a 2 cause of their packaging, eco friendly and because their radish topping. But never again, expensive and bad. Ps: it taste like indian food. I dont mind indian food, just not on my taco

This is what $18 dollars gets you at taco project , a half filled steak burrito

$18 dollars doesn't go far here everything is over priced and under seasoned and half the time the food comes out super greasy or not even a full burrito like in the picture I added If you had good Mexican food you can tell the difference and see where they are lacking. Even drinks are over priced here. Only thing is it's conveniently one of the only food places by the medical building in the location it's at

Came here for happy hour. Drinks were made with care. Can't beat $6 jalapeño margaritas with tajin rim. The guac was delicious, corn tortilla chips were crispy and not too salty. The restaurant has seating inside and has a nice mural elevating the ambiance. The staff are cordial and friendly. Need to go back to try their food next time. Best part is you can sit outside in the courtyard and the staff will bring your drinks right out to you! Appreciate it!

That wasn't from eating, that's what the shells looked like when I picked the taco up to eat it. Fell apart and was soggy.

overpriced and not good food. the taco tortilla shells fall apart and are very soggy. worst tacos I've even had. better off ordering from Taco Bell.

Good margaritas & solid food. I love the battered fish tacos from here, along with the pomegranate margarita. The decor in here is very modern aesthetic. A bit on the pricier side for Mexican food, however a gem none the less. Make sure to check them out for their happy hour as well.. 4-6

I paid $20 for the habanero honey chicken salad. The chicken is stew shredded chicken, gross. A waste of money!

First time visiting and it definitely won't be my last! This restaurant has been around for about…read moresix years, and I'll admit I had previously dismissed it because it's located in an outer strip of stores where Harmon and Bed Bath & Beyond once were. I truly wish I hadn't--because I was thoroughly impressed with the food, the décor, the service, and the extensive menu. There are so many dishes I want to come back and try. From the moment we walked in, the restaurant impressed us with its vibrant, themed décor and incredibly friendly staff who made us feel right at home. Warm tortilla chips with chunky salsa and glasses of water were brought to our table immediately after we sat down, which was a great start. They have a full-service bar, and while they don't offer frozen cocktails, we honestly didn't miss them. I had a coconut margarita, and my husband enjoyed a passionfruit rum cocktail. He doesn't drink tequila, so I asked if rum could be substituted, and they were more than happy to accommodate. He chose a Tajín rim, while I opted for sugar instead of salt. Both drinks were strong, flavorful, and served in really nice, heavy margarita glasses. We both chose specials from the House Special Grill, and wow--what a great decision. My husband had the skirt steak and jumbo shrimp, served with a creamy corn salsa, and he loved every bite. I ordered the grilled steak with sautéed onions, homemade tortillas, cactus pad (nopales), rice, and beans. Everything tasted fresh, authentic, and perfectly prepared. We ended the night on a high note with dessert--one of the best flans I've ever had--paired with a glass of hot Mexican coffee. Absolutely delicious. Amazing food, great drinks, welcoming service, and a fun atmosphere. Highly recommend!

However, I'm happy to report that I dined here recently and had a better experience. Since the time of my initial review, La Casa remained in my periphery - mainly because my parents periodically visited and it was a frequent stop of one of my friends who lives in Bronxville. That being said, I was curious to check out La Casa again - and that opportunity came when my mother chose here to celebrate Mother's Day. La Casa is located just off the main commercial strips. The interior is pretty spacious with a bar towards the front of the restaurant and the main dining room split in two sections. The decor is somewhat under-toned with a cool color scheme and tasteful decor. This is in contrast with other Mexican restaurants that tend to go overboard with the kistch and warm colors. I will say the seats look a little tired, they could use some re-upholstering - and were a little lower to the ground than I expected. In addition to the indoor space, they have an outdoor section which was done up very nicely. The brunch menu contained a selection of apps, sides, quesadillas, tacos, and sides. We decided to start by splitting a few apps: brisket and al pastor tacos, a quesadilla, street corn, chips and guac, and more guac with tuna. All the apps were tasty - the biggest standouts for me were the quesadilla and the tacos which were all generously filled and had good flavor. For my main, I got the camarones a la diabla which were shrimp in a red pepper sauce placed atop beans and paired with bok choy. The dish was pretty good - the shrimp could have been a bit snappier, but I appreciate that they de-shelled them and the sauce and beans worked well with them. Dare I say the bok choy was the star of the dish? It had just enough flavor and added a needed green. We opted for dessert, and I got the grilled pineapple which was paired with (per the menu) vanilla ice cream or guanabana sorbet. I wasn't asked to choose, and was served the sorbet. I would have liked to have been given the option, but maybe that's all they had - fwiw the sorbet was good. The pineapple was candied and came as a large, thick ring - definitely needed a knife and fork to cut it up (which they provided); this was a good dish in concept but I think it can be executed better. Service was good, everyone was friendly and efficient. In my experience, service tends to be the weakest component of a meal on a holiday, but they did a great job. Overall, I had a good experience at La Casa. Even though it's not in my backyard, I would definitely return if the opportunity presented itself.

Everything felt watery, and while I understand that some locations may cater to people who prefer milder food with more moisture, it just didn't work for me. I had the beef birria. The texture was all right, but it was very saucy without much kick. It honestly tasted more like a generic meat filling rather than something with the bold flavor I'd normally associate with birria. The rice was forgettable, there were a lot of chips, and the drinks were okay. This was just an average spot. I wouldn't come back unless they made some noticeable improvements. Maybe if you're tired and just need a quick pit stop, it could work as a one-time group experience.
