I ordered thru Uber Eats to pickup. I had the ground beef with the hard shelled taco. And I had some big expectations from this taco Project place. How disappointing! ;( The hard shell wasn't tasty. It didn't taste of corn but more like nothing but hard bread. The seasoned ground beef was just okay. I added lettuce tomatoes cheddar cheese jalapeños and corn as toppings. at $14.76 for two medium sized tacos it was also too expensive for the amount of ground beef I received in two avg sized tacos. As a vegan, I am excited that you offer a few options and items are customizable. BUT, I ordered your impossible tacos the other day and there was no seasoning on the impossble burger at all. NO SEASONING!!! Would you serve beef without spices? Chicken without seasoning? How could you just fry up the impossible burger and not add a Mexican spice blend to entice yuor customers to re-order and come back. My suggestion to help your business: 1. Make vegans desire your food byy making it taste good, don't just offer food for the sake of having it 2. Create a dedicated vegan menu. Veganism is growing. I shouldn't have to search your menu to make something work. This is Bronxville. You have many progressive food eaters here and Sarah Lawrence College is just around the corner. I am talking about the lack of precaution taken to ensure that it's customer aren't at risk from eating a food they are allergic to. The venue has a really fun interior design, and a comfortable number of tables and seats. There were several groups and individuals inside when I dropped by. The staff are friendly. The prices are okay for the food, though I wish they didn't charge for adding simple toppings like lettuce and salsa to your burritos (though I know guac is always extra). I personally would have preferred grilled chicken instead of braised, but a lot of colleagues order delivery from here so thought I'd try it out. read more

wife wanted tacos so we came to give it a shot, we have been wanting to try the one in tarrytown for a while so figured why not. Newly constructed building and the store is very clean, exposed ceilings and pipes makes me hope that they keep it clean and dust the pipes as well. the ambiance is like a hipster Mexican decor, or as my wife said hipsican. you order at the counter and they bring it to you. The guacamole is a smooth creamy texture, don't expect much more then guacamole because nothing else is in it. I hones9mias the tomatoes! The Tostitos served with the guacamole seem to be home made and have a nice texture and flavor, no salsa is served with the chips. 9 varities of tacos, 2 types of salads, 4 burritos, 4 burrito bowls, 4 kinds of quesadillas. My wife had the Truffle mushroom and battered fish tacos. The truffle mushroom taco was very good but had no spinach inside like advertised. the battered fish in my wife's words were amazing!!!! Then we tried the pork belly taco. The flavors are very robust flavors of the carmalazed pork and pineapple glaze topped with pineape cilantro salsa was a home run, something to possibly try to recreate at home!! Nice thing about ordering the tacos is that you can order them individually and mix them up. I had the chicken quesadilla. the chicken had a nice flavor and was very filling. I asked if I could get peppers and onions added to it and was told no, that was a little upsetting but over all they were very good. Dessert, 2 options churros or coconut tres leche cake: Lets start with the tres leche cake, honestly I only had it once before and it taste good but was more like a sheet cake with a filling in the middle, not what I had before, the coconut flavor was lacking. the churros when they brought them out I thought they were chocolate, but they were not. they are served with caramel and chocolate, if they added a little ice cream it would have been a homerun. Beer, wine, sangria (a little sweet according to the people next to us) and Mexican soda is served which is a nice touch and fits the overall feeling of the place. overall the cost of the meal was not outrageous for a upper class fast food restaurant. read more

If you want ICE COLD tacos then order delivery. How disappointing. We got the order within an hour and the tacos were soggy and freezing. They may have been good but we wouldn't know with the filling falling through the tortilla. The pork belly was also 75% fat pieces exclusively, disgusting and yes I know pork belly is fatty but 2 cubes of meat compared to 7 of fat is not a taco. This place seems to focus on the taco trend more than giving a good experience. Maybe stop imitating other restaurants and focus on the food because wow I'm unimpressed. read more

Stopped by for lunch super yummy everything was fresh and made to order. I think they recently opened this location, glad we got here now because I can see this place being packed when word gets out. We had a steak burrito bowl a veggie burrito and the Taco Project salsa. Outdoor seating is moveable in or out of the sun; grab a bunch of tables or chairs for a larger party. It's the kind of place you're not sure if they serve you or you grab your stuff and take a seat they served us but I can see if it's busy you would probably have to take it to you're own table. read more

Was really looking forward to eating the tacos here but left very disappointed. We got the fish tacos, pork belly tacos, and chicken burrito. It all lacked in flavor and was a soggy mess which had me shell shocked. The pineapple in the pork belly taco was probably the most flavorful out of everything we ordered. Went to meet my sisters at Yonkers location and my sister pre- ordered a pitcher of margarita so it would be ready by the time i get there.. She ordered at 8:20 pm and we didn't get the margarita until 9:05 pm to be exact after 3 follow ups. There place was not busy at all so we were confused what was the hold up. Our ticket order was just by the bar and they only checked it and started mixing it on our 3rd follow up. When they finally served it, they just gave the pitcher without cups.. we have to call their attention again for them to give us plain plastic cups without salt on the rim like we asked. There's no apology or made up reason why it took them almost an hour to serve us a pitcher of margarita when it's not busy at all. This is not the first time we received a poor service.. i let it slide for 1st and 2nd sucky, poor and unprofessional experience but this 3rd time? I gotta say something. Management needs to look at their staff because the satff just standing and bullshiting around at the expense of their customer. Poor customer service at all! read more

Came here and ordered pick-up for some friends. Service was quick and pleasant, but the food was disappointing. Each taco order of $10 comes with two, and we ordered the chorizo (which was OK - didn't come with any sauce so it was a bit dry) and the steak tacos (also dry). The chicken burrito looked more filling for what you paid. I would rather pick up tacos from NYC and bring it to my friends in Yonkers than come here again. read more

the heavy set lady with glasses who claims is the manager could use a class in customer relations. the way she acts, makes me feel like we're at a Chicago hot dog stand. management, please teach your self and staff proper customer service. This place is amazing and deserves 4 stars. I didn't give them 4 stars because I thought it was a little over priced. We tried 4 different types of Tacos. Shrimp, braised short rib, chorizo, and pork belly. I found the short rib a little dry but if you add a sauce from the table it was much better. Chorizo was good not great. The shrimp was a little better than the Chorizo. The pork belly by far was the best. This was a one way ticket to flavor town. Highly recommend the pork belly to anyone. We also had a chicken quesadilla witch was also very good. Over all I would recommend this place to anyone in the area looking for tacos just be ready to spend. read more

It is sad to have to write an updated negative review about a place we once frequented often and enjoyed the food, but lately the quality and quantity have gone down significantly. We have tried to give this place several chances as I mentioned before, we were weekly customers, but tonight will be the last order unfortunately. Spending 33$ on food and not getting what you expect isn't worth it. We ordered a "cheese quesadilla" or better known as lack of cheese. The quesadilla had barely any cheese inside (picture attached) and was very dry. Not how they used to make or serve them. The chicken burrito bowl contained rice that seemed to be stale. It was stuck in clusters and hard in some bites, again not what I usually would expect. The condiments on the side (sour cream, salsa, and tomatillo sauce) were barely half way filled in the cups. I ordered chips and salsa, so therefore I paid for salsa, so it should of been a decent amount. The sour cream on the side of quesadilla was the same. Also the tomatillo sauce, I asked the girl for 3-4 sides of it, willing to pay additional, and clearly she did not pay attention to detail because I only received two. Due to this being consistent, we have decided to now find another food establishment that we can enjoy and not be disappointed in. read more

We ate here for the first time and found that the Taco project had its ups and downs. My wife and I ordered the Cajun Salmon Tacos and the Steak Taco's, we had ​spicy guacamole​ and chips for an appetizer​ and the margaritas​ for drinks. So the Guacamole​ was good, not much issue with it. Good potions and enough chips came along with good quality​. I plan to visit again and will make this a part of my order. As for the Margaritas​, My wife had a pomegranate​ version​n, I had a classic. The only thing I​ can say is that is was​ way too​ sweet, it felt that​​ I​ had ordered a sugary​ drink, and you could not even taste any alcohol in the drink. It wa s a shame becuase this was a​ $10- $12 drink depending on the version. ​ Also the jar they pour the drink in is way too slender and tall. I would skip the drink, not worth it. As for the Taco's, the highlight​ of the trip as it should be. I had the cajun salmon taco's. It was delicious​, the salmon was not overcooked, it was a perfect temperature​e and tender, great flavor and the sauce​ brought it all home. I would get this pair of tacos​ again. My wife had the Steak taco's and her's were wonderfully cooked, hearty portions and delicious​​s as well. The fact that these tacos were well cooked is what will bring me back. My only critique of the tacos is that ​the soft taco;'s needed not just flour tortilla​ but it needs two tortillas to make it more authentic​c and at another level​l of perfections. read more

A welcome addition to the NW Yonkers food scene (which is sadly lacking). It's great to order takeout ahead on a busy weeknight or have a casual dinner on the premises. Staff is always friendly. Two complaints: the food is inconsistent. It's always very tasty, but you're never quite sure what's actually going to be in your taco. My other complaint is that I always pay extra for guacamole on top which is only present about half the time. Someone owes me some guacamole! read more

However the second time I got the classic steak taco with a hibiscus margarita to drink. That was delicious.
