Food is decent but above all else, the customer service is HORRIBLE. Staff is rude. They cancel pick up orders without notification. Literally had a 100$ order for pick up cancelled without notification until I got there. & then they kept insisting I was notified and refunded- which I wasnt. Finally, they put the refund through and said they had cancelled it (they hadnt) because they ran out of chicken. Right. Why not call the me to substitute the meat? Everywhere else does. Thats how I know they were lying. They had to nerve to tell me that I should have called or ordered from Uber Eats or Doordash instead of Grubhub. So why be on Grubhub? Why is that relevant? Lol. As a Peruvian with high standards for our cuisine, I'm a bit picky when it comes to Peruvian food. A friend recommended this place, so I decided to give it a try and ordered some of the staple dishes. My first impression was a positive one. Nestled within the Green's Organic shopping area, this spot offers free parking and a clean atmosphere with a small seating area (four tables, each with four chairs). For our takeout, we ordered Pollo Saltado, Lomo Saltado, and Lomo Saltado con Chaufa. The Pollo Saltado was packed with flavor and came in a generous portion. As for the Lomo Saltado, while I prefer my beef a bit more marinated (though I'm admittedly not a big beef fan), it was still quite good. Both of my sons really enjoyed their meals, and we'll definitely be ordering from here again. We also tried a pitcher of Chicha Morada, which was delicious and tasted just like homemade, along with two desserts--Gelatina con Flan (jelly and flan)--which were delightful. read more

Small takeout in a busy strip mall. Does have 4 tables for eat-in, but the blaring TVs are distracting. Everything I've eaten there has been very good, with a loaded mixed ceviche being a standout, though somewhat pricey. Friendly service, clean locale, well worth your visit. read more

I'm a die hard Pio Pio fan and Mikuna blew me away! All of the ladies are super sweet and generous. You cannot go wrong with any of their seafood dishes. Their green sauce and pastries are also delicious. I usually order for pick up and give it an additional 10-15 minutes so I haven't had any issues with timing delays. Pack your patience, fresh food takes time and Mikuna is definitely worth it. The restaurant is located within the Green Organic Market strip mall and has ample parking. read more

I was starving one late afternoon and came across Mikuna's menu. I love Peruvian chicken and decided to give it a shot. I got a quarter chicken with fried rice and maduros. I went in, ordered and took my food home. The food wasn't packed in to the container like most places do and that had me a bit skeptical. They gave a lot of maduros though so that made up for a bit. The rice IS AMAZING. It's fragrant and tasty and just about the best friend rice with green onions I've ever had. The chicken was super tasty and moist, the sauce they provide is delectable. Mikuna is the place to eat to satisfy the hunger, it's just a 15 min drive from my house, so order your food with Seamless or Uber eats; by the time you drive there for pick up, food is ready to go or if you want to dine in, it's possible to do so. A lot of parking, The Seafood dish is awesome, all fried seafood big portion. the chicken soup is fulfilling and their deserts are to die for. The cheesecake, leches cakes, chocolate in a seashell are delicious, their special drink is tasty. They even carry jello. I will go back to order some more. I stopped by this place for lunch today for the first time. I got 1/2 chicken with rice, beans and yuca fries. It was fairly pricey at $20 bucks but it was enough to feed me and wife no problem. The green sauce was the key for me. It went well with the fries and chicken.. I will def come back to try other items. The only coveat was the food took a while to prepare. I had the " Jalea Personal" in the restaurant. It consists of fried calamari, shrimp, snow crab, and yucca! You have to have it while it's hot. The seafood is lightly coated and seasoned and frued to a beautiful, tasty golden brown. It is absolutely delicious. The salad that comes with it accentuates it magnificently. I sat there until I found myself saying, "I can't believe I ate the whole thing!" I got a half chicken and yellow rice to take home for tonight. You can't go wrong here. Can't wait to return for the Chupe De Camarones(shrimp soup). The staff is friendly and helpful if your Peruvian accent is lacking... I don't have a picture because I ate it so quickly! read more

The food is good . Great ceviche. I also had the arroz con marisco and it was ok. They made a great lomo saltado and good chicha. But the customer service is not good. The table were dirty and had to ask them to clean it for me. Also the two young ladies there are too busy talking and giggling behind the counter, that is har to get their attention or they don't check or look to se if the customers need anything else. I visit the restaurant twice because the food was good and is the closer Peruvian restaurant near my house. The place has the potential to do better. read more
