Shrimp Bowl

It was a cute little hole in the wall. Food was mid and overpriced. No complaints about the service!

Had a very good beef burrito bowl and proceeded into a food coma. I was initially looking for a sandwich shop but the hotel sent me to Starbucks. came here instead because this is right next to it and has such an intriguing name.

The best Chicken EVER

I've just tasted the BEST chicken tacos EVER. I found this place while staying in Yonkers for business and can't recommend it enough! The authentic Mexican vibe and tremendous customer service (I was greeted by several staff seconds after walking in to the joint) is top notch. After enjoying my tacos, I spoke to one of their friendly employees out in the promenade and told her about my wonderful experience. I asked her if they made churros and was thrilled to hear they did! The employee promptly took my trash to dispose it while I returned to the counter to order freshly made churros, which took only ten minutes to make - and much less time to eat (these were also right up there with the churros from The Colombia Restaurant in Ybor City). The Taco Project takes its time to prepare food versus the haste I've witnessed in other establishments (which, usually meant the food wasn't that fresh). So, if you're local or in the area and haven't experience this place, I can't recommend it enough! Sadly, I don't live nearby, but I'll hit this place up as much as I can during my trips to NYC!

This place is absolutely delicious! They mix and match tacos so I got salmon, seared shrimp, and seared cod. The sauces and extras made the flavors pop! It was seafood heaven. They take drinks you can order as well. And did I mention the servers are all very nice? I highly recommend this place. I'm coming back for a burrito bowl next time!

I ordered a meal for delivery the other day and The Taco Project came as a suggested listing. I have never heard about it before so I decided to give it a try. I ordered a chicken burrito and chicken quesadilla through Uber Eats. The food came in about forty minutes or so. It was still warm and edible. I liked the large bag it came in. Way to promote your brand The Taco Project. The burrito and quesadilla were very good. The portion sizes are good for the price. We were able to eat enough and still have some saved for leftovers. It was a great meal to enjoy during a winter weekend. Once everything gets warmer again I will be making a trip up to check out the restaurant in person.

Margarita

I had the chicken tacos and strawberry margarita. This is my second time eating here and it was great. The service is top notch! The staff checks in to make sure everything is fine. The food is flavorful. Drinks are strong.

I was in the area and wanted to go to a neighboring restaurant that had closed. I ended up here because it was open and close by. I'm glad I stopped here. I had the chips and salsa and a burrito. They have an array of items on their menu. I can't wait to try out more of their options. There is indoor and outdoor seating. They have bar stools, high top tables and regular dining tables inside. The inside is cozy and has a great ambiance. I can't wait to come back here!

Tacos al pastor????
Juan T.

Ordered via Grubhub and never again The Food. I normally order tacos on Tuesday for Taco Tuesday from my local taqueria. This day, i decided to "spice" things up and try a new one. 1 order of Tacos al pastor. It comes with 2 tacos for $12.. over priced to begin with. The pork was not even cut, it was literally from the feeezer to warm up and serve. Look at my photo. No pineapple either. 1 order of tacos de chorizo. This was the driest taco ever in my life.. The service was fast but obviously they cut corners Ambiance: none as i asked for delivery. They get a 2 cause of their packaging, eco friendly and because their radish topping. But never again, expensive and bad. Ps: it taste like indian food. I dont mind indian food, just not on my taco

Friendly staff, Food made to order and fresh ingredients.......Parking Lot was large and plentiful....

This is what $18 dollars gets you at taco project , a half filled steak burrito
Christopher M.

$18 dollars doesn't go far here everything is over priced and under seasoned and half the time the food comes out super greasy or not even a full burrito like in the picture I added If you had good Mexican food you can tell the difference and see where they are lacking. Even drinks are over priced here. Only thing is it's conveniently one of the only food places by the medical building in the location it's at

Sayeeda A.

Came here for happy hour. Drinks were made with care. Can't beat $6 jalapeño margaritas with tajin rim. The guac was delicious, corn tortilla chips were crispy and not too salty. The restaurant has seating inside and has a nice mural elevating the ambiance. The staff are cordial and friendly. Need to go back to try their food next time. Best part is you can sit outside in the courtyard and the staff will bring your drinks right out to you! Appreciate it!

I have gone with the suggested combos, the Cobb Chop, the Avocago, the Mexicana, the Chopped Asian, and the Chimichurri Steak. Most feature chicken, the Falafel-Osophy is their vegetarian offering and it is one of the best. The only one I might not care to repeat is the Chimichurri Steak, the flavor was great, the beef was a bit chewy. If you like spicy they have options. The portion size is good, and worth the price. I am starting to recognize the staff, which to me is a good thing, suggesting less turnover than a lot of places. There's a frequent flyer program that will get you a free salad after about 8-10 orders. There are four or five tables for four, and a counter with hightop chairs for solo diners. I wish they had a two top, as I do not care to sit so high, and I usually take a table. Most customers takeaway, so there is usually plenty of space, even when the place is humming. Recommended.

They were generous with the breaded chicken cutlet bites. In hindsight I should have only dressed half the salad so I could save the rest for dinner or next day lunch. The portion is big, too much for me at one time but I had dumped the dressing already on all the salad so no saving what I couldn't eat. BTW the dressing was very tasty, more barbecue than zesty. Considering the size and ingredients I think $13.45 is a fairly reasonable price. Once you tax on the delivery service we used, taxes, tip it was $18. I would order again as there were many other salads the peaked my interest.

Thankfully Salad House has that down! My daughter and I wanted a quick dinner on a Thursday night and headed to Salad House. Found parking nearby and lucked out that they weren't too busy. Ordered a Harvest Bowl plus grilled chicken and my daughter got a chicken Caesar wrap. Took advantage of some gorgeous weather and sat at their comfortable sidewalk seating. Harvest bowl had plenty of great ingredients and the highlight was the crispiest Brussels sprouts! My daughter found the lettuce to be very crunchy and the wrap was flavorful! Will gladly return to Salad House!
