This has been my go to spot for so many years!! Dining inside was my usual but now ordering for delivery has become the usual and boy are they speedy! And the food comes nice and warm and the tostadas maintain their crispness! I love how there are many options for side dish with your entree. You can choose from rice and beans, vegetables, French fries, tostones and to my surprise Maduros!! I of course had to get the Maduros for that sweet and salty flavor with my tostadas. You get 3 tostadas per order. And then the steak quesadilla on flour tortilla (you can choose corn tortilla if you'd like) with delicious stringy cheese which I assume is queso Oaxaca which is the best! Review for takeout only. I looove ordering quesadillas for lunch from here. The steak is always juicy, the tortillas are not dry or too thick, and the sides they give are tasty! The rice that comes mixed with some veggies including corn (I loove corn) are especially memorable. I have yet to order Mexican cuisine from anywhere else near my work place where the sides stand out as much as at Garibaldi's. While the food is great, the delivery service is a little weird and inconsistent. We are located in the Bronx, like a 10 to 15 minute drive from here. Yet sometimes, they say they won't deliver to us unless our order hits a minimum. Once it was a minimum of $50, another time a minimum of $80! We usually order for three people max and we are not looking to eat that much money worth of food. We just decide to order elsewhere if we're told this when we call. Then, sometimes, they say if it's more than one order it is fine to be delivered. Hopefully they keep delivering to us since we can't leave during work hours. My family and I have been patrons for several years and went on Mother's day The live music and family ambience was good. The service from the waiters and waitresses was good. Unfortunately, they have gradually increased their prices, understandably. However, they have changed a few item prices on the menu. For example their seafood soup had 2 sizes, small and large. Obviously the smaller is priced less and a good portion for anyone that just want a small soup. Now you don't have that option and are forced to by a large . Also, I had a shrimp and steak smothered in garlic sauce and the steak was a very cheap cut of beef. I had to chew through a whole load of tendon and fat and the meat was not seasoned. Honestly, completely overpriced for a cheap cut of so call "steak". I was surprised at the poor quality of meat. Last but definitely not the least, they now add an automatic gratuity ! I know of a service charge to be added but not an automatic gratuity. They made us aware of the additional charge but I didn't think much of it until I got the bill. Overall, I'm disappointed with the changes in price, quality of food and additional charges in your bill. I doubt I will be returning anytime soon. read more

This is my second time experiencing this restaurant, and I have to say it not what I thought. Both times I ordered some delicious food but couldn't finish it. Why may you ask? It was the mother**** mango margarita!!! I'm telling you; they were so delicious that I can sadly admit I, along with a few girls, became the life of the restaurant. The owner has no shame whatsoever. He needs to drink less on the job and be present more in his kitchen. The audacity of this place to sell rotten display like food. Then when speaking to him in regards to a refund he gets offended and upset. It went from a once in a while edible food to an inedible arrangement type of business. The kitchen environment is toxic because of the incompetent owner so toxic food will be handed out. God forbid you get a service you pay for in this place. This is floutas de bistec or if you taste it, trash in an overcooked tortilla. Not to mention they charge about $15 for guacamole and they use one $0.88 hass avocado equivalent to the size of a toddlers hand for a party of 4. I haven't seen too many places like this that combine a large, colorful suburban-type setting with a deep menu of authentic Mexican fare. The shrimp cocktail was on the sweet side. I liked it better after adding lime. The chilaquiles was a simple dish but it benefited from a knockout spicy green sauce. The free salsa was very good too. The service was very welcoming. This is, perhaps, the best Mexican Restaurant in the TriState area. If you're of Mexican Heritage or merely like Mexican culture, you should definitely visit this place. The environment is welcoming, refreshing and it feels like you're in Mexico. The restaurant has an Aztec Mural, Aztec Calendar, Hand painted Mexican style chairs, live Mariachi and they make the guacamole right in front of you. It came quickly and the delivery man called to get specific directions, my address can be quite confusing. The portions were good for the prices. We had: Guacamole: solid, creamy but also chunky. very tasty w/ crispy chips Pollo Empanizado Cemita (Breaded chicken sandwich): this was a BEAST of a sandwich. For $8 it was a great deal. The chicken was moist, there was fresh avocado, black beans, cheese, and a pepper that was quite spicy. Mixed salad with avocado: nice salad with romaine, peppers, cucumbers, tomatoes, radishes, good dressing and generous helping of avocado Steak Fajitas: Nice portion, great flavor! Truly authentic Mexican Food for a decent price . I go here because it is very close to home. Definitely a go to for The amazing tacos fully loaded or nice cheesy quesadillas ( the don't skimp on portions , or a full night affair of fun to enjoy the Mariachi bands playing and the Juan Gabriel Impersonator . I've driven past this place several times in the 6 years I've lived in Yonkers and this was our first time here. The decor and ambience was very nice. The server was very friendly. They make the guacamole table side, which was tasty but I should've asked for more jalapeños. The margarita I ordered was good and they weren't cheap with the tequila. My wife had a piña colada which which nice and creamy, not the cheap slurpy type that a lot of places serve. The food took forever to come out after ordering, but they have a live mariachi band who kept us entertained. When the food finally came out, my teens had chicken fajitas which they said was great. My little guys had chicken nachos which I sampled and they were ok. My wife had the chicken enchiladas which neither of us enjoyed. I had the chicken tacos and they were really good, however I love flavor and I would have like them spicier. But they were really fresh and tasty nonetheless. I would come back and try a different dish but overall am surprised the food didn't have as much flavor as I expected. At the very least for some drinks, nachos, and live music. read more

We went to this place because I had an ENTERTAINMENT coupon for buy 1 lunch or dinner and get the 2nd lunch or dinner free. Unfortunately due to "cinco de mayo" which is not an official holiday in the states, we weren't able to use it. We do respect culture and so we had to accept it. The food was pretty good although my fiancés food was overly sauced and mine was pretty dry but flavorful nonetheless. The waitress was okay as well and knowledgeable of her information. Just felt a little bit weird that I saw a fried dead rat in front of its parking lot and the waiters are kind of slow. This is an update on 2/14/2016. I understand that Valentines Day, at times can be quite hectic for any restaurant business. But the way that I see it, business is business and there's no excuse for bad business. The minute that we arrived to its parking lot, we felt as if we were being ignored cause the parking attendant did not tell us that we could of just left the car in the parking lot and that he would park it for us. When we entered the facility we were told that the waiting time was 40mins and we waited 60min. We were then sat, the waitress took our orders and drinks. It's unbelievable that our food arrived within 2 hours and cold. The only good thing we liked about the restaurant this time around was the guacamole and the entertainment on that day. read more

She brought the salsa and no chips. Never refilled my drink. Never asked me how my food was. It was terrible. The "burrito" was just meat, rice and 3 pieces of beans to be exact. Thank goodness I said yes to the rice and beans because I thought I was getting it on the side but it was in the "burrito. " On the menu it said it was supposed to come with avocado, cheese, and sour cream like any other burrito but no. It was just tortilla, meat, rice, and 3 pieces of beans. It is a sad day today. Today is the last day i will be ordering or eating from this restaurant. Don't get me wrong their food is above average... But it isn't made out of gold and diamonds. My mother and i ordered the same thing every time and when i called today to order it was way over priced. The meal i ordered used to be $9 now is $11.99, my moms was $10 and is now $12.50, tacos went up $1.50. They charge for extra sour cream or even just a few pieces of avocado. EVERYTHING IS MORE MONEY! It isn't worth it, there are other restaurants that have exactly the same thing and taste just as good. This place is completely hit or miss. The food is good, when it arrives, but sometimes it just doesn't show up at all. Tonight, after my order was 30 minutes late, I called asking where it was. The woman says "he's on his way right now". 20 minutes later it's still not here. I call again and the woman just says "wait longer, he has other deliveries". I asked her to explain why I'm not one of the next orders and she hangs up on me. I call back and she refuses to answer. I call back again with my number blocked and get an answer. Then she says "the driver doesn't know where you live". Horrible service when things go wrong. Good service when things go right. Not worth the risk in my opinion.
