Clyde's Corner - Potato wedges

And I'm back, clearly nothing has changed because I had absolutely no business ordering two pizzas,…read morepotato wedges, wings, and chocolate cake. The second I saw on IG that their special was (what I call) a bánh mì-inspired pizza, I knew it had my name written all over it. It was absolutely outstanding, and honestly, I wish I had eaten it there because it deserved to be enjoyed fresh. The pepperoni is still a favorite every single time. The potato wedges remain undefeated, but LORDT... dipping them in the chimichurri sauce (because I like making adventurous sauce choices) took them to a whole new level. The wings weren't my personal favorite, but once I gave them the chimichurri treatment, everything was right again. And finally... the chocolate cake. I obviously had to get right into it (I have no picture to show for it). I generously shared two bites with my significant other before happily devouring the rest myself. No regrets.

It's nice to see so many great reviews for this place. For me, it was good--but not for the price…read more We planned on splitting a pizza, but that really wasn't realistic. It was barely enough for one person, about the same size as a Blaze pizza. It was surprising to see this kind of trendy spot in the area--and honestly, where did all the hipsters come from? This might be a fun place to take out-of-town guests, but as a regular go-to when you're hungry and want something really satisfying, I'd probably skip it.

We had a great meal at The Noble Fox! Parking isn't super easy nearby, so if you are already parked…read morein a lot or structure, stay there and walk. It's just off Main Street. We went in at dinner time on a Thursday. We were seated right away without a reservation, but you can make one online. I could see them being busy on a weekend or a busier part of the season. There are tables for groups from 2-6. They also had some pinball and other games in the back (as well as some board games in a side room). We didn't find out the ins and outs of the games, but it makes it feel like a place you are welcome to stay at for a while. They had a great kids menu. Our girls both wanted pizza and the observant server recommended they share a pizza because they are not small. It was accurate and kept us from having a whole leftover pizza, even though the prices were reasonable and it would have been a good value. The two adults shared the spicy cauliflower from the appetizer menu and the quesacarnitas tacos. Both were seasoned well, very flavorful, and all around delicious. The cauliflower wasn't super spicy, but it was super tasty so we weren't mad. The place is a brewery but we had cocktails. My husband said it was the best margarita he had on our trip and tasted like it was made with quality ingredients. My Paloma was also good! Overall, we were super pleased with our visit. Gluten free items are marked clearly and there is also a gluten free bun and pizza crust to choose from. Highly recommend before or after a play or a day of shopping in the Main Street area of Ashland.

So I have to open this up with a reason to why I had to come here on my wife's and I road trip. She…read morereads a lot and she sometimes gets the audio books and says "YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS" So the legends of thezmarr by helen scheuerer is a fun story I got hooked on and my wife loved that we can talk about it so it makes it that much more fun. There is a tavern called "the laughing fox" so I told My wife we need to go here or Kip would be anger (Kip being the character that loves going to that tavern) she did not get it at first but when I did the hint hint wink wink she understood me. Needless to say ... The Noble Fox not only filled the fun of the book they also came through with how Delicious and amazing of a place it is. I was sad they did not sell their cups with the Fox on them or hats... I would have been all over it... lol Now the review The Noble Fox is an amazing resource that matches the vibes and of the clever and tempting Fox. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They allow dogs on the patio and the views and comfortable nature is amazing. We were hosted by Aarron and he was amazing, made sure we had what we needed and was considerate to every question. He was great for suggestions and overall hosting is such an important characteristic so we appreciate you . The food... I'll be honest we planned on just having. A drink and some fries... but the menu was just too intriguing especially to a couple that loves to cook. Soooo my wife got the harvest salad and I got the fish and chips. The fries were amazing... they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. We could not stop eating them. The harvest salad my wife enjoyed, we enjoy good salads and the berry and chopped seemed like something we have had before so the Harv had some unique takes with the dressing and fresh toppings. She enjoyed it but said it would be more amazing paired with salmon. Which is unfortunate because she was just recently deemed allergic to it. The fish and chips... just get it.. don't question it just get it... most fish and chips just focus on the lemon, salt or tartar to give the fish flavor... nope... the noble Fox understands the fish and batter need to be pre seasoned then seasoned after . The batter needs seasoning and I just need to say that fish was not going to survive my plate. If there was a second one I don't think it would survive the place. Arron also read my mind. Their tartar sauce was delicious...but he opted for malt vinegar and that was the end of it all. Overall the Noble Fox will be a destination stop for us every time we come down this way. It's an amazing little spot and there is a lot on the menus that brings fun and unique flavors in. They have great service , an arcade room , a private game table room and a welcoming environment. Also if you read the books ... you have to go ... what would Kip do?

The sauce that was served with my perfectly cooked steak and unbelievable potatoes is addictive. You just have to experience it to know. The service was just fine. On the other hand, the food was absolutely terrible. We ordered the…read morecrabcakes that said they were Dungeness crabcakes from Oregon. They were not they were made out of canned crab that not only could you tell came out of a crab. It was rotten. It smelled fishy, and the crabcakes didn't stick together like it was more like they shaped crab in a crabcake form, but it was not cooked nor was it good you could smell how rotten it was when it came to the table, we did not eat one bite of it. In fact, we sent it back because it wasn't good. Only to find that they left it on our bill actually expected us to pay for rotten crab after sending it back to the kitchen. While we sent a drink back that was wrong. The drink was more of a personal preference. It was too sweet and so that was on the bill. I guess that could be understandable to charge us for. But to charge us for rotten crab that you sent to our table and not even come out and apologize for it try to give us to pay for it was absolutely disgusting. If you walk down to the bathroom and you see how filthy the floor is, you can only imagine what the kitchen is like. I would not recommend this place to anyone nor will we ever go back.
