Dobra Tea is my FAVORITE place to eat in Southern Oregon for many reasons:…read more 1. The quality of the food is exceptional 2. They are consistent, which I value highly. 3. No matter what I order, it tastes absolutely delicious. And when I leave, I feel super healthy and filled with vitality. 4. The folks that work here are generally very sweet. Periodically, more training may be needed in how to serve customers properly, e.g., ensure they have utensils and follow-up after serving to make certain customers received all the ingredients in whatever they ordered, but overall their kindness and sweetness make up for any oversights. I have so many great memories of this place during the 12 years that my husband and I have lived here. I remember driving into Ashland in the middle of a snowstorm because I had an appointment with my yoga teacher and I do NOT cancel on her. After we finished yoga, I decided to pop in to Dobra tea and get a hot mushroom latte. I sat at one of the tables in the front room looking out at the snow falling. Almost no one was out and it was like being in the middle of a snow globe with a warm cup in my hand. Another time I was there with a friend for lunch. He ordered their avocado toast with egg, which I had never ordered before. He insisted I take a bite, which I graciously agreed to do. The flavors were so exquisite that it immediately became one of my many favorite things to order at Dobra. I learned they make their own English muffins, which is the "toast". Wow!!!!!! So many lovely memories here -- and I expect to co-create MANY more. Thank you for being so exceptional at what you do!

They also have great salads and bowls, a special chocolate chip cookie, and a few other heathy-sweet treats to soothe you. The outdoor eating area is great when the weather cooperates. You can tell there's real care behind the flavor development. The "For 2" dish is such a smart way to experience multiple components of the menu --beautifully composed and perfect for sharing. And the Beef Miami? Genuinely unforgettable. The depth of flavor, the richness, the balance, it's indulgent without being heavy, bold without overwhelming the palate. It's one of those dishes that makes you pause mid-bite. Service is quick and efficient with a walk-up, pay-first setup that keeps things casual and streamlined. The vibe is relaxed and low-key, usually not crowded, which makes for a really enjoyable dining experience. That said, I almost wish it had more buzz because the food absolutely deserves the recognition. Portions lean slightly smaller, so I'd recommend ordering an appetizer along with your entrée to get the full experience. With food this thoughtful and well-executed, it's worth exploring more of the menu anyway. Overall, a creative and refreshing presence in Ashland that feels chef-driven and inspired. Definitely a spot worth supporting and revisiting.

3.5 stars Coming…read morefrom the Bay Area and familiar with Filipino food out in Daly City, my standards are a bit high. I will say they use good ingredients and their dishes are not as greasy as traditional Filipino foods I've had. We got the Harana for two, which had chicken adobo, lumpia, atchara (pickled veggies), jasmine rice and an order of the sisig pork belly. I was a bit disappointed with the sisig because the pork was dry. It could be their style, but it could have been way better if the meat wasn't so dehydrated. The flavor and egg was good though. Chicken adobo was better, the mushrooms they used was very good and soaked the flavor well. One of the chicken pieces was slightly over done and a tad dry, but the other was fall off the bone. Lumpia was good, pretty standard. Their Atchara was quite tiny and wish they offered more as it went very well with their dishes.

We had a great meal at The Noble Fox! Parking isn't super easy nearby, so if you are already parked…read morein a lot or structure, stay there and walk. It's just off Main Street. We went in at dinner time on a Thursday. We were seated right away without a reservation, but you can make one online. I could see them being busy on a weekend or a busier part of the season. There are tables for groups from 2-6. They also had some pinball and other games in the back (as well as some board games in a side room). We didn't find out the ins and outs of the games, but it makes it feel like a place you are welcome to stay at for a while. They had a great kids menu. Our girls both wanted pizza and the observant server recommended they share a pizza because they are not small. It was accurate and kept us from having a whole leftover pizza, even though the prices were reasonable and it would have been a good value. The two adults shared the spicy cauliflower from the appetizer menu and the quesacarnitas tacos. Both were seasoned well, very flavorful, and all around delicious. The cauliflower wasn't super spicy, but it was super tasty so we weren't mad. The place is a brewery but we had cocktails. My husband said it was the best margarita he had on our trip and tasted like it was made with quality ingredients. My Paloma was also good! Overall, we were super pleased with our visit. Gluten free items are marked clearly and there is also a gluten free bun and pizza crust to choose from. Highly recommend before or after a play or a day of shopping in the Main Street area of Ashland.

So I have to open this up with a reason to why I had to come here on my wife's and I road trip. She…read morereads a lot and she sometimes gets the audio books and says "YOU NEED TO LISTEN TO THIS" So the legends of thezmarr by helen scheuerer is a fun story I got hooked on and my wife loved that we can talk about it so it makes it that much more fun. There is a tavern called "the laughing fox" so I told My wife we need to go here or Kip would be anger (Kip being the character that loves going to that tavern) she did not get it at first but when I did the hint hint wink wink she understood me. Needless to say ... The Noble Fox not only filled the fun of the book they also came through with how Delicious and amazing of a place it is. I was sad they did not sell their cups with the Fox on them or hats... I would have been all over it... lol Now the review The Noble Fox is an amazing resource that matches the vibes and of the clever and tempting Fox. They have indoor and outdoor seating. They allow dogs on the patio and the views and comfortable nature is amazing. We were hosted by Aarron and he was amazing, made sure we had what we needed and was considerate to every question. He was great for suggestions and overall hosting is such an important characteristic so we appreciate you . The food... I'll be honest we planned on just having. A drink and some fries... but the menu was just too intriguing especially to a couple that loves to cook. Soooo my wife got the harvest salad and I got the fish and chips. The fries were amazing... they were seasoned and cooked to perfection. We could not stop eating them. The harvest salad my wife enjoyed, we enjoy good salads and the berry and chopped seemed like something we have had before so the Harv had some unique takes with the dressing and fresh toppings. She enjoyed it but said it would be more amazing paired with salmon. Which is unfortunate because she was just recently deemed allergic to it. The fish and chips... just get it.. don't question it just get it... most fish and chips just focus on the lemon, salt or tartar to give the fish flavor... nope... the noble Fox understands the fish and batter need to be pre seasoned then seasoned after . The batter needs seasoning and I just need to say that fish was not going to survive my plate. If there was a second one I don't think it would survive the place. Arron also read my mind. Their tartar sauce was delicious...but he opted for malt vinegar and that was the end of it all. Overall the Noble Fox will be a destination stop for us every time we come down this way. It's an amazing little spot and there is a lot on the menus that brings fun and unique flavors in. They have great service , an arcade room , a private game table room and a welcoming environment. Also if you read the books ... you have to go ... what would Kip do?
