Visible large cracks on the side of the cake.

I ordered this cake two days before I needed it, a chocolate cake with chocolate frosting. for a bakery this should be a no-brainer. I was not particular with the design, I didn't care but I did not expect this low quality of aesthetics. There were large cracks on the sides of the cake. the top was a semicircle design that was not attractive and the lettering was too close to the edge. there were chunks of butter throughout the frosting that did not add to the appeal of the cake. not to mention it was two tones of brown, one tasted freezer burnt while the other was okay. the frosting on the side was just smudged like no one cared and it showed, not to mention some dents here and there. Please zoom in on this cake. The actual cake was good except for the part of frosting that tasted freezer burnt and that weird texture of bits of frozen butter... yep...

Cakes, cupcakes, cinnamon rolls and other delightful and delicious desserts

The best bakery hands down in the Southern Oregon area. Also, great lunches. Excellent service and cute shop in good location. A must for anybody swinging through Central Point.

Today's lunch. Reuben, salad and fruit- all fresh!

Perfect place to stop after leaving Eugene and heading south to the CA-OR border. Purchased a sharp cheddar cheese! Can't wait to enjoy it. Shop also has hot grilled cheese sandwiches and other items for purchase of local wines/beers crackers/meats and such. Gotta stop by; it's totally worth it!

I do not like blue cheese. I'll get that out of the way first. But Rogue Creamery with their world…read morerenowned cheese? There's no way I could resist visiting. On a weekday morning right during opening, as soon as I opened the front door, I could smell funky blue cheese wafting through the entire shop. Rogue Creamery doesn't make many types of cheese - just a couple of blues and cheddar, nestled in a single refrigerated display case, but they also offer other cheeses from several different outside suppliers. To complete a cheese plate, they also sell an assortment of charcuterie items like jams and honeys, and plenty of items in the fridge. Of course, since we were traveling, we couldn't exactly buy much, so we went with one of their famous grilled cheeses: Classic Rogue Grilled Cheese ($8) - This sandwich includes a drizzle of honey on both faces of bread followed by a sprinkle of blue cheese. and then a veritable mound of cheddar, which is then sandwiched together and pressed in a panini press. The amount of cheese included creates an awesome cheese stretch. The sandwich is rich and fatty, and the bread, cheese, and honey blends creates a somewhat salty, funky and sweet bite. While the bread is toasted, I don't believed it's buttered, so it isn't that crisp. I'd like to see some additional crunchy elements in the sandwich - perhaps some toasted nuts? I dislike blue cheese immensely, but it's surprisingly mild and sweet in this sandwich, being blended and balanced with the cheddar. Would I get this sandwich again? Probably not, due to the blue cheese, but it was great to try! Rogue Creamery Rogue Gold Pepper Spread Spicy, 8oz ($7.25) - This seems to be Rogue Creamery's version of pimento cheese, colored orange by addition of plenty of red colored piquillo peppers. That adds a delightful mild spiciness along with a flavor that is kind of fruity and very peppery, different from pimentos. The cheese is high quality and there isn't any liquid precipitating out of the spread. It's easy to spread while still having plenty of soft cheese shreds. It's a great replacement for pimento cheese and I ate most of it spread on biscuits and baguette slices. (5/5) PS: Make sure to look at the best buy dates. The first couple of containers in the front looked kind of funky with oils/liquids precipitating out of the cheese. Turns out those were expiring/best by the day I went. Further back there were much fresher looking ones packed the previous day, which is what I chose to buy. Note: Do not follow google directions for parking - instead, the parking lot is a little bit to the South, right in front of a wine tasting bar and bakery. Bathrooms - Single unisex

It's the end of an era…read more I remember first discovering Lillie Belle's magical chocolate at Phil Lesh's 70th birthday celebration at Bill Graham. It wowed my tastebuds in a profound way. It's been 15 yrs since then. Lillie Belle - closed up shop this month - after 24 yrs of delighting people with their handmade artisan chocolates. Thank you Lillie Belle for bringing so much joy and goodness to the world. Trust. See original review back in 2010 below: For me - chocolate is seeped in nostalgia. I can remember spreading chocolate hazelnut spread on toast in Jakarta. I remember my first Snicker bar in Bali. Lying stomach-down with a Kit-Kat bar - on my great Aunt's carpet in Wales. Playing faux fondue parties with my barbies with a Cadbury Creme Egg in New Jersey My stomach groaning after a trippy Cadbury Factory tour, with excessive free chocolate- in England And the spicy kick of a Lillie Belle Farms' Crunchy Fire Bar comprised of sugared Pecans and Firey Chilis in dark Organic single origin chocolate - at a Furthur show in San Francisco. Given to me by a regal looking nine-year old redhead with a thin purple glow-stick weaved into her braids. And later - sweetly- given two other bars - - by her just as amazing nine year old friend; clutching a tye-dye plastic ball. As I snapped off pieces of those bars - beneath the moving iridescent colorful lights, while the soaring chords of a guitar wrangled my soul - I felt like I finally understood it all. Understood why. Why chocolate is so alluring. So seductive. I understood - as the brash kick of chile lingered at the back of my throat - intermingled with a coating of bitter sharp dark chocolate. Lillie Belle Farms now has a permanent imprint on my chocolate memories. So much so - that I've already ordered a couple of bars of chocolate from their website Even browsing through their site - makes me happy. I appreciate the simple packaging of their bars. Their straightforward organic ingredients. And moreso I love that I first discovered Lillie Belle Farms in a dark-love-filled-music-blessed concert space in San Francisco. Trust.
