We had seen a show on PBS and had to check it out. We drove up and there were some cozy chairs and tables set up outside. As soon as we walked in we were greeted by wonderful smells of fresh baked pastries and by the staff. They have a good selection of sweet and savory treats. You can also order coffee. We went for a little of both for the family. We ordered the Egg and Cheese croissants and Bacon, Egg and Cheese croissant. We also got some jam filled donuts and a cheese bagel along with some coffees. There are a few tables inside to sit and relax. The jam filled donuts did not have much filling but otherwise everything else was delicious. We will definitely be back to try some other items. read more

Amazing bakery. Not pictured I got a butter croissant and a seasonal drink. All was so flavorful, fresh and delicious. I said out loud to myself - "this is the best coffee I have ever heard" I asked for cranberry sauce on side and they gave me a lot! I travel for work. Totally negative experience. Background= my first visit. I'm elderly and arrived using my rolator. Was not able to use the sidewalk because all the parking places were occupied. Between the close cars and the outdoor tables/chairs I only had about 8" or so to wask. Had to walk in parking lot. Not the safest thing for me. After I ordeted 2 women, approx my age helped me move tables so that I had a place for my rotator (4 wheel walker). 2 employees behind the counter seemed to enjoy watching. The employee who brought my sandwich pointed to the silverware area and told me that I could get my napkin and silverware there. It was all of 6' away. The sandwich only had a tiny amount of chicken flavor. Almost all flavor came from the mayo. This was the absolute worse pumpkin spice latte ever. Could only taste a bit of creamy. No espresso, pumpkin, or spice. read more

On my travels I always try to hit roasters and this place was soooo great! I ordered an iced vanilla latte and jalapeno cheese bagel with cream cheese. They were both so good! The latte was so good I had to go back for another one before I left. The service was amazing! All four girls ( sorry I didn't get names) were all so sweet and bubbly. Definitely inviting and made me want to come back for sure. I will be putting this place on my maps for when I'm in this area again. Pastries are decent, but the woman who boxed our pastries was very rude. That was our first time in there. She was half paying attention to us so we kept having to repeat our orders, she glared at our children who were trying to repeat it for her to hear - to the point, I found myself apologizing to her for no reason just to get her to relax. It was very bizarre. She acted like it was a nuisance that we wanted to buy more things from them. I'm sorry that we just spent $80 and you had to box up a few pastries, but don't worry we won't come back. When customer service IS your job and you have nothing but attitude to give customers, why are you even doing the job? My family was visiting so we figured we would take them there and check it out. Everything about this place is amazing, the people, food, and drinks are always amazing. This is a weekly, as much as possible, father daughter spot and I am making great memories here with my daughter before she goes to college. Exceptional Experience @ Artisan Bakery Cafe in Medford, OR. !! First time patron to this establishment on Friday @ 10:30 am. I've been looking forward to tasting their croissants and it was just as divine as I was hoping it would be! I was warmly greeted upon entry. The two employees serving customers were very kind and friendly. I was lucky that one table (of six total) was available for me to enjoy my late breakfast. This small bakery was comfortable, clean, and well decorated. I loved the wall murals at each table, it definitely made the cozy space even more appealing. My vanilla latte was flavorful and served in a ceramic mug. The breakfast croissant was absolutely delicious, savory, and flaky, as it should be. The only thing I would hope for is that they replace the one-use plastic utensils with reusable silverware, sooner than later. I devoured my meal and left happy and satisfied. We stopped in to get some quick breakfast on our way out of town. Excellent service that was friendly and prompt. We were just going to get two breakfast croissants but their other danishes looked so good we walked away with our yummy breakfast croissants, bacon and egg and ham and cheese, and 4 danishes to try later. Absolutely delicious pastries. The almond croissants are my favorite, but they have plenty of other excellent sweets. There are a lot of lunch options too. Very excited they are opening a second location in Medford in June (where Wayback Burgers used to be). Would love to see them expand their bakery and sell more bread and bagels. read more

I ordered the NW Turkey and cheese sandwich on multigrain bread (croissants and bagels sold out at 1:15pm) fresh and high quality ingredients. I planned to only eat half, ended up eating the whole sandwich and licked my fingers afterwards. Chai latte tasty, not overly sweet. I lucked out and bought the last almond croissant. I usually don't buy flavored croissants however considering all the plain were sold out I figured they had to be good. Delicious!! The coffee was not good and my head started hurting after having a few sips, I ended up throwing half the cup away. And the butterhorn filling was just sugar with cream and took me 2 days to eat.
