This place is tucked away in downtown Medford, small Café with a funky vibe and oh, what food! Staff is friendly and attentive, and whoever put this menu together is doing some good things. I had a great Irish coffee and Chilequiles for breakfast. At first, I was a little put off because the price is higher than I would've expected, but nothing anywhere is cheap anymore. The great things I heard about Over Easy reigned true. First, service was very friendly and there were open tables during lunch on a Thursday. Loved the Matcha blueberry lemonade, but didn't care for the iced espresso, orange juice, and tonic water. Chilaquiles can vary greatly from place to place, here they were excellent! This place is incredible!! Can't say enough good things! The menu is limited. I can only presume that allows the kitchen to focus on what they do serve. Not disappointed. I also had the homemade chai. Yum!! Other patrons recommended the French toast. Says it's to die for. FYI: they change the menu about every 3 weeks. Be prepared for changes. I really like this friendly, family owned restaurant that serves one of the best breakfast meals ever. Every major dish is priced at around $20 and size is big. They have some Vegan options but majority of the food items on the menu are fried but with some Mexican flavors and different hybrid dishes that are very interesting. The staffs were quick and very friendly. One of the staffs found out that my chicken dish had potatoes chips that I was not very fond of and immediately offered Salad as an alternative option. I was very pleased with her quick help for healthy option. Although the other staff stated that I didn't have any other option than the potato chips for my dish. Absolutely DISGUSTED with the way we were treated. The restaurant was full and my husband politely asked some customers to use a table that they were only using for trash. One of the servers very publicly asking if I asked permission or if we just took their table. I said oh, of course my husband asked them and she said typically you would ask somebody who works here to do that and we are getting the spot inside. I proceeded to say nobody has spoke to us and we have not been asked where we want to sit because its too cold inside here and we would like to sit outside. She laughed at us and was so stuck up and snarky! In fact, the other servers seemed embarrassed by her behavior! Im appalled this woman works in customer service! Let me tell you, it is the craziest dish, crispy pan fried toast topped with avocados, sweet sun dried tomatoes, moist and tasty shrimp with sunny side up eggs. The reviews don't lie this place is great, situated right off Main Street, this is the main place to eat (haha rhymes). The server recommended the shrimp toast which was simply the best, I wouldn't have picked it but the nudge helped. Finally got to try this place after multiple recommendations. I got there around 1230 on a Saturday, it was pretty packed but they said it was no wait to sit outdoors. I didn't see any more tables outdoor but little did I know they'd bring one out and set it up for me. The service was quick and everyone was very friendly. I got the apple crisp latte (hot) and it was very good, I'd never had that flavor latte before but I liked it. For breakfast I had the biscuits and gravy with a side of fruit. The biscuits were so big and so soft and fluffy. And they drowned them in their onion mushroom gravy. Now I am a sausage gravy girl but I liked this onion mushroom gravy. It was good and not too thick and the onion gave a good flavor to it. Scrambled eggs came with it and they were perfectly scrambled, still moist. I only ate one of the biscuits and took the rest home. Overall I really enjoyed my meal here, I'll definitely be back because the menu looks pretty good. The portions were large and we each took half home. The servers were very pleasant and attentive. The decor is colorful and interesting. The biggest surprise was the Orange Cardamom Coffee! It was the best coffee I've ever had in Medford, possibly in the whole state! Over Easy is very busy on weekends so a midweek visit is probably best.
