    Good wine selection

This is a hard review to write but things were just not right here. Visually, the restaurant was really nice. We sat down in a booth and the seats were really uncomfortable. Foam was broken down. We ordered wine, the house pallella, and a few appetizers. The wine took 20 minutes to show up and the pallella (which they tell you will yake 20 minutes) took almost a hour and a half. Overall, flavors were bland and uninspired. There didn't seem to be enough staff for a busy Friday night and I expect we won't be trying them again.

One of the best tapas places I have been to! Everything we ordered was excellent. The menu had a good variety of meat and vegetable options. Will definitely return next time we're in the area.

We had wanted to try this place as we love trying many different foods and tapas. We brought our parents to check it out. We were greeted right away and seated at a booth. It is an old brick building and is like an old style speakeasy. Beautiful old wooden bar. They have a full bar so you can order cocktails, beer and wine. They have some signature cocktails. We decided on several shareable items on the menu. All were delicious and we had just enough room for dessert which were fresh made churros. They were so light and fluffy. We will be back again to try some other items on the menu and cocktails.

What a pleasant surprise! Just passing thru town, we chose Elements for dinner. Very cute corner restaurant off Main Street. Half bar and half booths and high top tables, with a few couch seating areas around the front. No high-chairs or kid booster seats however. All the tapas we tried were delicious! They have lots of options from seafood to steak and salads. Everything was moderately priced, and there was also a special $10 tapas menu offered too. Our waiter was the best. Overall I could see myself and my husband becoming regulars if we lived next door. I'd recommend this place for date nights or anyone wanting to relax at a cool cozy bar. Not dive-y at all. One suggestion is to offer bleu cheese stuffed olives for the martinis, as we came to find they only had store-bought small green pimento olives.

Amazing place, we are traveling and stopped by here for dinner. Love the staff/owners were super nice and took off a meal we didn't like. Everything else was absolutely delicious, definitely get the oxtail and the patatas bravas my favorites. Love the vibe and would definitely come back.

The chimichurri looks brown. Steak canapé

3.5 stars. Late night dining can be a challenge in Medford but Elements helps fill the void with their impressive menu of tapas and paella. They also have daily special additions to the main menu worth checking out. I opted for 3 tapas plates. First to arrive was the Spanish ceviche. A tasty mix of yellow tail, scallop, Serrano and cilantro. Served as 3 individual bites on house made tortilla chip rounds. While it was tasty and enjoyable, it had the appearance and texture of ceviche that had been sitting around a while. Pale and lifeless in color. It wad good, but could be better. Next up was steak canapés. Flat iron steak, lemon aioli, and house made chimichurri. Served 3 to a plate on sliced baguette. I devoured these but the chimichurri lacked that vibrant color you expect from it. It looked sort of brownish like it had been sitting around a while. Finally the oyster crab. 3 oysters Rockefeller style and 3 fried crab bites with lemon aioli. This was ok. I would've preferred the delicate oysters be served raw. The fresh flavors were masked by the overpowering topping. Cocktails are amazing with a great selection of top shelf liquor and expertly crafted. Overall a very good experience and would Come back to explore the menu. The ambiance is very nice and elegant without being pretentious. And the service and friendly staff are incredible.

We had a good time here. The food was delicious, and the craft drinks were great. We would go back if invited by friends, but probably would explore other venues on our own. Would have given 5 stars but if we had been forgotten on 2 separate drink orders, we didn't see any staff on the floor for up to 10 minutes and the store had about 20 customers, and we also wanted to purchase dessert to go after dinner, but were told the chef closed down the kitchen, 15 minutes before closing time on a Friday night.

Found this place while driving through Oregon and so glad I did. Upon first entering the restaurant we noticed a large group enjoying food and wine. We were greeted and given a choice of a table. Everything looked so good on the menu, so we weren't sure on what to order. We started off with ordering wine. The hubby had a taste of two particular wines he chose. I order just a glass but then decided to order another one from my husband's choice. They were all delicious! We then decided on a beet salad and a few other appetizer. Everything was delicious! We will return here on our next trip through Oregon.

Elements Tapas has an inviting aura. Service was impeccable by Anthony. Every dish was savory and delightful. We really enjoyed our dinner here and shared many plates, all of which were aesthetically pleasing and perfectly prepared.

We started with the deep-fried pickles, which were a letdown. They tasted like basic bottled pickle slices lightly dipped in flour with minimal seasoning--nothing special. Dinner didn't improve much. The menu items sound really appealing, but once they arrived, the flavors were bland. We ordered the Irish stew, and the meat was very tough. Tried cutting it in really small pieces so I could chew it, but it wasn't worth the effort. Had a few pieces with gristle and fat. I ended up picking the meat out and just eating the carrots and potatoes. We also tried the famous meatloaf, which was the highlight of the meal. I enjoyed it, though the portion could have been a bit larger. The gravy was tasty, and it came with peas and mashed potatoes. Overall, while the service and atmosphere were great, the dishes lacked flavor and felt overpriced for what was served.

It doesn't look like much from the outside, but it's a cozy little restaurant inside with a lot of cool pictures from the early 1900s. I wish I would have taken pictures of the decor but it was a long day of driving and I didn't think about it. All the food was really good. My husband had a French dip, my daughter got a cheeseburger, and I went with the chicken quesadilla. The avocado didn't work for me but being a California girl, I get it. My daughter's French fries were the absolute best restaurant fries I've had in a loooong time. My husband enjoyed a local beer and I went with my standard white Russian, which was nice and strong. They had a really interesting cocktail menu, but I wasn't feeling adventurous there. As for service, outstanding. Our server was so friendly, attentive, and helpful with all of our questions and requests. The service is good, we've been there with our family and with a large group, and they have always been very patient and friendly. Alchemy is in my top 3 favorite places for a dressy dinner when we are visiting Ashland. The only slightly negative thing I have to say is that we were there celebrating a birthday once and at the end of the meal our server brought out a candle on a small, flat ceramic dish. The birthday girl's comment was, "You just spent $300 on dinner and all they brought me for my birthday was a candle?" It seemed a little chintzy since most places will give you an actual dessert, not just a candle, but at least they brought a candle. Other than that tiny little thing, we still love to eat here and will be back when visiting in the future.

The latter changes seasonally--in our case it was a dashi broth with a variety of local mushrooms and vegetables. Both dishes were good, with my steak cooked perfectly and the mashed potatoes amazingly creamy without tasting too buttery; the dashi broth was delicious as well. We also split the steak tartare, the house bread, and the chips & dip (seasonal special) as appetizers. With the exception of the chips & dip, the appetizers were good but nothing outstanding. The chips & dip, however, were REALLY GOOD! I did not know you could elevate potato chips like that, but their house-made chips are delicious and I would highly recommend trying them. Both my fiancé and I were not a huge fan of the sauce (just a little too creamy, it's really smooth though so if you like creamy sauces you'll probably enjoy it!), but just eating the plain chips was amazing. They even brought us a second serving of chips for free since we hadn't used all of the dip! We also ordered a pear tart for dessert which I would also recommend getting! Delicious crust and good pear flavor.
