Canvas paintings of topped pancakes and puns all around the dining room. Loved the inspirational signs in the women's bathroom too. Place was packed when we arrived at 1215. Device was fast. This was such a sweet little diner to stop by to during our roadtrip back to california! everybody was extremely friendly and welcoming upon entering and throughout the entire dining experience. The philly was AMAZING, super hot and fresh, crispy fries, and it came with two ranches, YUM. I didn't get any pictures, but the food was delicious! On one day I had their Corned-beef hash and eggs. Most restaurants have mostly hash with a little corned beef, but here, a generous portion with mostly beef, very delicious. I was traveling, and am so glad I found this place, and with a name like Cracking' & Stackin' I had to try their stack of Pancakes! They have so many choices of pancakes, I went with the tried and true buttermilk, very tasty! The next time I'm traveling through Medford, I will return to try a different variety. The name says it all! Super assortment of pancake combinations. Different batters and fillings so you can mix it up! I opted for the Jalapeño Bowl, and was pleasantly impressed. My wife had an omelette combination that filled the plate. We were greeted immediately and had a table right away. Our server made sure our drinks were filled and that we were satisfied. I walked in and was immediately greeted and seated by a young man who took my drink order and brought me a fresh hot cup of coffee (young 19 year old white male, sorry nobody has name tags) A few minutes later I was greeted with a friendly smile by Carlos (based on the check) who took my order. I ordered the Bacon, Cheddar and Avocado omelette, house fries and wheat toast. The service was quick, the food was fresh, hot and delicious. Warning the portions are large so I couldn't finish everything. Throughout my visit, Carlos and the greeter were friendly and attentive. The excellent level of service speaks to the character of all the staff and reflects well upon management I highly recommend this location. No introduction from staff just here's your menu...what do you want. The food was mediocre at best. Hashbrowns should not be burnt to a crisp and tear up your mouth. It was about as good an omelet as I've ever had. The server gave the option for hash browns, and I was NOT disappointed.
