Burgers were really good. We grabbed them on our way to the Redwoods and it really hit the spot. I got the Pittsburgh Special which was a take on a Primanti's brother sandwich. It was really good. The fry sauce was a good twist and the portions were massive. We were planning on eating there but there seemed to be a homeless situation out back so we grabbed our food and ate at a local park. They are efficient and polite. You can sit on the patio which is shaded. The milkshakes are even more extensive than the burgers. First visit to Jasper's. When we arrived, I could smell the burgers cooking. It smelled just like you would expect a diner to smell. Wonderful. Small interior, but there were about 6-8 tables inside for dining and lots of tables outside to dine. 2 We ordered a regular cheeseburger, a regular burger and added bacon and mushrooms, fries, onion rings and 2 sodas $39.00. Very reasonable for 2 lunches. The burgers were very good. Cooked perfectly, the meat tasted great, but my only complaint was I think the mushrooms were out of a can and not fresh. My sister loved her onion rings, but I prefer mine to have more coating. I loved the fries, but my sister did not. It's a big, thick wavy fry and she thought it was too much potato and described it like eating a baked potato. The fry sauce was very good. Wow! This place is bomb! We were visiting from out of town and this place came highly recommended. It was better than expected. Their Bleu Grit burger was out of this world. If you love blue cheese this is the burger for you! The Pastrami on Rye is on par with the ones from NYC. My son ordered the All American Burger (classic) and he said it was one of the best burgers he's ever had. The chili cheese fries are massive and served in skillet big enough for our family of 5. Seriously one the best hidden gems in Medford! The staff is so sweet and very helpful in making food selections. Wanted to try a local favorite and I can see why people love it! Not many people in the restaurant at the time we dined in so service wasn't an issue. Also since not many people in there, it was quiet and clean overall. The sidewinder fries were an absolute favorite in our group and I also enjoyed my burger. Stopped here on a whim while traveling. I LOVE burgers and this may have been one of the best burgers I've ever had. The Doc Holliday had the perfect ratio of condiments and toppins and the patty was moist and well cooked. You could tell it was cooked fresh to order. The sidewinder fries were a new twist (pun intended) on a sort of steak fry and were piping hot. Portions were plenty, as I was full but still made room for a milkshake which was also delicious. 10/10 read more

Sat outside, server asked if I needed a menu took over 5min to get one as I watched him grab one from the patio then went inside with it 5min later he comes out saying "oh the menus are inside" (WTH). The burger I ordered was the Lone Ranger (something) looked very sad wimpy lettuce and sauce not spread on but glooped on the burger. For $16.00 I expect something for me to say "That looks GREAT" and the DAMN meal is served on a PAPER PLATE. I know it's about cutting costs but for the price for a SAD BUGER you would expect the meal to be on at least a plastic plate. I was out of the training called my order in didn't bother to check the price I got a basic hamburger and french fries and the total came to 20 bucks I was a little setback and figured well maybe it's a exceptionally good burger then I ate the burger and it was so below average but rather go to In-N-Out for way less money. this burger was way overpriced for what you get If you're going to charge that kind of money you better be a good burger which this one wasn't. read more

What a cool hidden gem!!! I was shopping in Medford and needed something to eat! I searched for lunch and Jaspers came up. If you don't know where you're going, you might miss it. My GPS took me across the street on the other side...LOL! I just ordered the Western to go. They have a small inside dining room and a bunch of tables outside. If I was not eating dinner in 4 hours, I would've gotten fries too. I drove back to Ashland and that burger held its own! It was soooooo good! Definitely worth checking out. It's been a long time since I ate at Jasper's. Three years ago I devoured a grass fed bacon burger because it was the bomb. Today I had the German Sausage with sauerkraut, it was nothing to rave about. My grandson had a small cheese burger with tater tots, he ate his entire burger with no complaints, so it was probably pretty good. My brother ate the "Jiffy" burger and fries. He loved it, so did my grandson, they shared the burger. I am still skeptical about raspberry jam and peanut butter on my burger. Service was awesome! We've always been satisfied with our meals here. The wait staff are quick to refill our drinks and prompt with service. The only issue I had was my chicken salad. The chicken was so over fried I couldn't tell the difference between the croutons and chicken. On another note, the onion rings were great and hubby liked his hamburger. Amazing burgers, fries, and shakes close to the Medford airport. We flew into Medford and wanted to eat something before driving to our destination a couple of hours away. We now know why Jaspers is ranked so highly on Yelp. The food: Burgers were juicy and well flavored. Lot's of really cool options. I got the Smokey and The Bandit with a GF bun and it was so good I ate the whole freaking thing which is unusual for me. The smoked gouda, bacon, and aioli combo was delish and it was served on one of the better GF buns I have had. The fries were super crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Ranch dressing was on point. The star of the show for my BF was the chocolate shake. So creamy - definitely made from real ice cream. We saw a couple other groups ordering salads and sandwiches which looked delicious and massive. The service: Very friendly and fast. The atmosphere: Fun vibe with nice outdoor seating. The burgers were good, but slightly expensive for not including fries. They have delicious gluten free buns and gluten free sweet potato fries on the menu. They provide table service, but it feels a bit more like glorified counter service. The seating is run down tables and chairs. They use disposable everything for table service. Table service should not be using disposable cups and plates and a roll of paper towels in the middle of your table. it's horrible for the environment and tacky. The table service is simply so the employees can get better tips. The food was good and the employees were very nice. That is why I gave it 4 stars. read more

This hidden gem is amazing. I honestly love the skeptical. Look that it gives off when you first pull into the parking lot because the food speaks for itself. I got a bacon burger and a malt milkshake to go and the malt milkshake is a perfect 10 out of 10 . The burger was seasoned well and tasted rustic and good. I'd give it a nine out of 10. I can't tell you how often I come across people who cannot make a good burger so this place really impressed me. I asked a lady who was working how long has this place around and she said since 1977. Only 6 other customers besides me and my daughter. We ordered caesar salad, Burger to dine in and 2 other burgers to take home....2 shakes and iced tea. After waiting for quite a while, we decided to get everything to take with so we could get home. Order was finally ready when I was presented with a bill for $96. Really? Started to leave when we realized we did not have the 2 shakes. While waiting for them to make two shakes, we decided to check the order. 2 out 3 burgers were wrong even though the ticket was correct. Krispy chicken on this Caesar salad way overcooked and dried out. Not edible. We waited in the parking lot while they remade the burgers.....another 20 minutes only for it to still be wrong! The worst part of the second order was the wilted black spotted old leaf Lettuce on the burgers. Just took everything home and fixed what we had to work with. Have never written a review before, but this was horrible especially for $96 for 4 people. Sad thing is we love burgers and live very close by.But we'll never ever go back. read more

Great, amazing service! The food came out hot and delicious. The sweet potato fries were the best I've had, and the onion rings were HOT and yummy. Even my picky 3-year-old kept going back for more sweet potato fries. Both my husband and I loved our burgers - I had one with an awesome blu cheese sauce, and he had one with jelly and jalapeño and cream cheese on it - "the real Lone Ranger". We are so glad we stopped on our trip... we walked away full and content. This will be on our list next time we come up this way for sure! read more

It's been a few years since we've been in. It used to be a pretty good spot for burgers. Recently went in with a group of friends after an event. The kids meals came out without drinks because they never asked a couple of the kids what they wanted to drink. My burger came out incorrect (ingredients on it that weren't in the burger description) and when I went inside to ask them to fix it, they acted like it was some how my fault? My friend ordered a double meat burger and it came out as a single. When he mentioned it, they brought a single plain patty 15 minutes later and said "don't worry, we aren't going to charge you".. not sure why they would they charge him for it when he had finished his burger at that point? They also brought out several extra orders of fries that we didn't order but they were on our bill. All in all an odd experience. Food was mid. Service was pretty terrible.
