We ask about this at the counter and they say "Oh, someone must have left it off the hook." Sandwiches are good. Really great food. I have rarely had better sandwiches, but . . . I have a complaint about Jersey Mike's that runs counter to one of the gripes mentioned in the recent MSN article, and that is being asked if I want my sandwich Mike's way. I guess some people do, but I don't, and it is annoying to have to deal with the question. I want the sandwich the way I like it and am happy to explain exactly that I want. I have never done it, but I don't blame customers for answering, "No, I want it Mary's way" or "Jack's way," whatever the customer's name may be. The question from the sandwich maker invites that response so I don't care if saying that annoys the sandwich makers. Better to just ask "What do you want in your sandwich." We have gone in so many times and no issues they clean the meat slicer for my husband every time we go for his dairy allergies and always make sure the counter is wiped down but tonight the girl making his sandwich didn't wipe the counter so that if the was any sort of mayonnaise on the counter it wouldn't get on his sandwich now we have a sandwich that he won't eat. read more

First time at this location. Exactly what you would expect from a Jersey Mike's. Staff was friendly, food is the same quality that you would get from a JM in New Jersey. (I grew up near Point Pleasant, NJ so I have a little bit of experience at Jersey Shore JM's.) Tables were a little dirty even though there were seven or eight employees working at the time of my visit. Came here with my shy niece who is kinda spoiled and new to the world. She wanted a sub sandwich so she took 10 minutes to look at the menu and finally said, "Can I tell them what I want?" Yes weirdo, you can. So I made her do all the talking and the employees asked her questions so she could pick the fillings and they were very helpful. I like that there is both indoor and outdoor seating in case you want to sit with your dog. It's a perfectly good place to eat, but I din't give it all the stars just because I'm not a sandwich person. Love the food and the service is always great. Cleanliness is a bit of a concern though. The restaurant dinning areas are always spotless and the bathrooms are clean. The problem is the scraper they use to clean the counter top in front of the veggie station. They scrape off the remnants from the last sandwich into a catch, then the scraper sits in the catch. Most times I go this scraper has black mold all over it and you can sometimes see it get gunked up with new black filth when they bring it out of the catch out to use it. I used to go to the Grants Pass location before this one opened and they never had this problem. read more

Very annoyed!! Walked in with 7 employees chatting about who was going to get the last 3 energy drinks. I actually had to ask them if they were ready to take my order and then got an eye roll. They didnt acknowledge any of us when we walked in. Then the blonde just hands me back my order and doesnt say a word. I asked, what do you want me to do with this? She said hand it to him. The crew is working in blue nitrile gloves. This would have impressed me if I hadn't stood there and watched them clean, restock , and touch multiple dirty items, including money, with the gloves on and then turn around and start to make my sandwich with the same gloves on. Just gross!! Gloves are only as clean as the hands that grab them out of the box. Plus, change your gloves after cleaning, sweeping, stocking and handling money. read more

So I don't make it to the south side much but have been wanting to check out this place for a while, so after a game of golf, I needed some food and found myself in Jersey. The place is open, clean and friendly staff. They greeted me when I walked in and thanked me when I left. Now the food. I ordered the #13 (The Original Italian) and it did not disappoint. I got it "Mike's way" and then added a little mayo and spicy mustard with banana peppers. The team put this beauty together with care and not just slopping the toppings on. The sandwich was perfect, every bite. I washed it down with the vanilla creme soda (mmm..), wiped my hands and called it a success. I plan to go back and try out other creations and would recommend this place to anyone finding themselves in the area. They have a great outdoor patio for the perfect day. Check it out! read more

I go here pretty often the sandwiches are really good my favorite is the Italian on the parmesan bread, Delicious! And their brownies are reaaaaaally good. I've gone here ALOT so I have experienced some mess ups with them, one time my sandwich was too soggy and soaked in oil but now I just say light oil and it's since been fine, they had also forgotten items and left out the mustard that time. They have forgot my chips on a different order I ordered online too, however over how many times I've gone I always come back because it's good and reasonably priced plus they're people back there making the food we are all flawed and make mistakes don't y'all tell me you always get everything right in everything you do for yourself and everyone else. read more

Two weeks ago I purchased 2 Chipotle Subs for 28.48 total, for myself and my friend... Today, I went to Jersey Mike's yet again, and the price per each Full Length Chipotle Sandwich has gone up by 2 dollars per sub... (over 16 dollars each) They are GREAT tasting, but sorry, no one sub for just myself, is worth 16+ dollars... I guess Jersey Mike's, like many food places, do not understand the simple fact, that having a higher return customer count, is FAR better for long term profits, than having a higher profit per item. SMH. I will NOT be returning. I can make my own Sandwich, or give my money to a business that is not trying to gouge it's customers by raising prices nearly 2 dollars per Sandwich, in under 3 weeks.
