This place was amazing! My partner and I were on a road trip, hungry and looking for a good place to eat. This spot caught our attention because of its "old school" vibe. Inside, it has checkered floors and that classic drive-in feel. There isn't a lot of indoor seating, but there are clean, comfortable picnic tables outside. They also have a drive-thru if you'd rather not get out of your car. The service was great the cashier was pleasant, and the staff who brought out our food were wonderful. One gentleman even came by multiple times to check if we needed anything. My partner got Jimmy's Deluxe and said it was really good and a great portion size. He also ordered fries, which were more than enough for both of us. I got a bacon burger (I can't remember the name), and it was okay. The real stars of the show were the onion rings 10/10, definitely recommend and the mint chip milkshakes. Overall, it was a great experience, and I would definitely recommend this place! read more

Everything is freshly made, friendly folks, and you can drive through or hang out to eat with indoor and outside options. They make the kind of burger you'd expect it to be! read more

The burgers here are insane... I got the Route 66 and it was outstanding! If you like onion rings, this place is a "must stop" on your travels (the fries are outrageously good, too). Justin was our cashier/server, and he was fantastic! Jimmy's is big on nostalgia decor, and they have an outdoor covered patio for larger parties. I love their Green Eyed Lady burger! It was super fresh & flavorful. I love how they use thick bacon in the burger & not skimp on the avocado! All the vegetables were plentiful, perfect amount of sauce. Their banana milk shake is A+++++ sooooo good! I think one of the best banana milkshakes I've had! Service was fast, attentive & friendly. You definitely feel like you've transported into the past once you step into this joint. It's a bit eerie, but fun. The burger is juicy and well seasoned. It's one of those wide patties so I would recommend doubling up. They give lots of lettuce ... The onion rings are deep fried to perfection and come out HOT so don't eat them right away because after one bite you won't be able to stop and your mouth will be in pain from the burning but you have to keep going because it's that good. read more

I wish I could give this place 10 stars! My buddy and I recently retired from the Navy and decided to go around and find the best burger place in Grants Pass. Found it. The food is absolutely amazing!!! Every single bite is just as good as the first one. Every time you go there, it's just as good as the first time. The staff is amazing considering that they employ a lot of young people. They are always happy and smiling and popping out of the back to make sure that you have absolutely everything that you need. It's hard to find places around here with grown adults that care as much as these kids do. I absolutely love this place and everything about it. I have told everyone that I could possibly think of that they need to go there and eat. The whole feel of the place makes you miss great service, great people, great food, but happy that you found this little gem of a place. This place is great! We stopped in while driving along the river. We had our two dogs with us. They have a clean shaded dog friendly patio- they even brought the dogs ice water and PUP CUPS! needless to say the dogs give two paws up. Very friendly service Nice and clean. Big menu with fresh options (even a veggie burger!) with sandwiches, hamburgers, chicken sandwiches and all the fixings. Ok, listen up!..... There are restaurants aka Burger joints that do some things good but, this place does everything good because they genuinely care! Here's my story. My wife, beloved dog and I arrived at Jimmy's Classic Drive-in and ordered a Deluxe, a Doo Wop Burger, Onion rings, Fries, and a Blackberry shake. The burgers were juicy fresh meat deliciousness. The fries were perfect crispness and the onion rings were pure perfection, crisp with a sweetness not to be forgotten!! When our food was delivered I was told my onion rings were not up to par as two of them 'blew up' in the fryer and they quickly brought two additional rings!?? I was somewhat blown away that this burger house cared so much that they wanted to do this!.... Incredible by all semi-fast food standards. Our food was really as good as it gets. We capped it off with the best Blackberry Shake I have ever had....period! To top things off the owner, Taryl made the rounds to ensure his guests were enjoying there meals..... amazing! I was all too glad to share my thoughts....great product, great service, and amazing staff!..... an incredible model of what every food establishment should aspire to be. Hubby says it's very clean even for the outside, friendly staff. Bathrooms are kept clean. hubby liked the blue bird sandwitch and I had the wild thing with avocado because I can't have cheese. There was enough fires for us to share. For me my burger could have used a little more S & P, but that's my taste buds bc everyone is different. Now we each had a sandwich and 1 set of fries I had a sm ice tea and hubby had the sm shake and the grand total was 47.00 yup, that's right 47. I asked hubby if he would come back and I quote "yes after I get a lone from the bank" other than the price and a bit more seasoning on the burgers or hay put salt and pepper on the tables ‍ the food was ok. I Ordered a Bacon Cheese burger with onions, an egg and mayo. The burger itself if I had to give it a rating out of 10 would be a 7.1. The milkshake was absolutely top notch! I am an ice cream connoisseur, and this milkshake was right up there with some of the best I ever tried. Top quality ice cream tasted very rich and creamy, and it was made thick thick thick, I had to use a spoon! Delicious. The burger tasted like a nice homemade burger, great bread, and everything held together as I ate it, did not fall apart like some tend to do. The fries were standard fries, nothing wrong with them, but I think next time I will try the zucchini fries for a change of pace.
