Not fancy but the food is excellent. Also handy if you're looking for a place in the early morning.

Memo's is a bit far from home, but sometimes we just have to make the drive. This is a Mexican diner, puedo ser. Generous portions, inexpensive food by today's prices, friendly servers. This place just reeks of honest intention and care. It's not worth reviewing particular dishes because you can't go wrong--just remember this is basic straightforward food, whether you go with Mexican or North American breakfasts. Nothing will blow you away, bit nothing is bad either. What is a signature feature here is how many different Mexican options there are--this isn't a "let's throw huevos rancheros on and check the box." I got nothing but respect for them here. Do be prepared to wait a touch for your food--it's that care thing. Oh, if you're a senior, they have some specials, along with an "early riser" menu. read more

Memo's Kitchen - Mexican Near Me - Medford, Oregon

Possibly the best Mexican breakfast spot in the area. I've been there many times, and I've never once been disappointed. I usually order the chilaquiles, and they are hands down the best around. The chips are perfectly coated in sauce without getting soggy, and the flavor is bold, rich, and comforting. Adding carne asada takes it to another level -- tender, well-seasoned, and cooked just right. Every bite is packed with flavor. Even though I stick to my favorite, everything else I've tried has been just as impressive. The quality is consistent, the portions are generous, and you can taste the care in every dish. If you're looking for a Mexican breakfast that never misses, this place is it. read more

Food and Service were 5 star! Proportions were huge which greatly reduced the sting of the prices. On the price I have to rate 2 star. $25 person for breakfast (w/ drink & tip)... is just simply too pricey. However, you're getting high, high quality food and service so you won't hate yourself for pulling the trigger on the price and going. This will be a regular stop for me when I hit Medford... and I'm a retired person that has to look for value. This is a okay value b/c the food/service is excellent. If your budget is more robust than most - this is a no brainer. If $$$ is tight - just hit this way less often. read more

I was craving a breakfast burrito, and when I saw that Memo's offers green AND red sauce options, I had to check them out. Service was friendly, not super fast, which is fine since my food was made to order. $13.99 for a very large breakfast burrito that came with rice and beans; very fair! It came with scrambled eggs and your choice of two additional fillings; I chose chorizo and pico. It would have also come with cheese, but I have a dairy allergy. They were very accommodating, listened well, and I appreciated that! The sauces on the burrito were good. Funny, I got so excited when I saw I was able to order both green and red, and the waitress knew what I meant when I said Christmas style. Lol, I should have known...we are in southern OR, not New Mexico, so the green sauce was tomatillo based and not green chile, but it was still tasty. read more

Great breakfast spot! One of the best in Medford! I'd definitely eat here again! Very big portions and friendly staff!!

Great service and yummy food!! Traditional breakfasts and my favorite, mexican flair! Our family joke about leftovers is "throw an egg on it" and it'll be a great breakfast!! This is not leftovers but fresh for sure! Enchiladas with an egg on it with Christmas sauces!! Yummy. The chips were homemade and the tortillas served hot and fresh!! read more

Stopped in here for a late breakfast and thoroughly enjoyed my Huevos Chilangos. The service was good and the amount of food you get for your money is pretty nice. Someone else ordered the burrito and is was MASSIVE! No cocktails here, which is a bummer. Ambiance is just okay. Not a dump, but not really nice either. But the food makes up for it and the selection of Mexican breakfasts adds a star. read more

Open at 6, featuring a surprising array of Mexican breakfast items. I tried the mole sauce omelette, which was delicious, very generous and not very spicy (cholula sauce on the table was appreciated). Decent coffee and an attentive server made for a great breakfast that will keep me going all day. read more

Breakfast is hot off the grill. Just a basic folksy, nothing fancy kinda restaurant. Our server was pleasant and food ample.

An old locally owned restaurant. I saw many yelpers had given it 5 stars. I was in Medford and made my way to Memo's Kitchen. Not much to look at inside and out. Friendly service, clientele were old folks like me. IMO the food was certainly not 5 stars. Sloppy with the sauce on my omelette, missed it completely, potatoes were old and greasy, they forgot my beans. Hint, hint, besides me, no other Latinos in the place. read more

I order Memo's via grubhub whenever the breakfast lazies hit us. I LOVE the poblano eggs and the crepes. Oh my gosh and I order a giant coffee with horchata and mix em for an all-day delicious caffeinated DRANK. My 6yo splits meals with me and always loves the treat of a breakfast, as well. I have yet to dine-in, so I can't speak to service or ambiance, but if their delivery is any indication of quality then I would place a hefty bet Memo's dishes out a superior experience. My absolute favorite breakfast spot! Employees are great and remember my order when I come in! Food is amazing and large portions!

So first, the food here is pretty good and we'll probably go back. The restaurant itself is funky. The building has housed a series of restaurants over the years, and is something of a jumble to look at. The staff was friendly and the service was good, the expansive menu has lots of choices and, at least for us, the portions were huge and the food was well prepared and tasty. The plating, especially, was a notch above what you might expect at a place like this. I wish they'd clean it up a little. The restrooms are not even close to ADA compliant and weren't that clean either. Not filthy, but c'mon, you can empty the trash. And I resented the fact that they had some weird MAGA/political photo hanging in the dining area. Really? I mean I know that its southern Oregon, and that's how people think, but I don't need to deal with your warped politics when I'm just trying to order lunch. read more

Great breakfast place with unique Mexican menu. I'm workin on trying everything on menu. So far everything has been terrific.

So I had been working since 430 this morning. I was exhausted and about to eat my arm off trying to think of places to grab breakfast. Almost all the trucks and restaurants I love seem to be closed on Mondays. Then I remembered a recommendation for memo's kitchen and called to order. I got the chorizo omelette, which came with a choice of beans and rice, home fries, or hash browns. It also came with a choice of corn/flour tortillas or toast. I mentioned a cold coffee drink, but when she said they had horchata, I switched my drink. Then she told me they could make me a horchata coffee, and I was like "whaaaaaat?! Sign me up!" Y'all, it was so much food! I couldn't even finish it. But the flavor of the omelette was absolutely fantastic. Everything tasted fresh, and the portions were huge. My horchata coffee is a goner. At first I thought it was a little pricy, but with how much food I got, it was easily two meals. The woman who took my order was super sweet, made conversation while I waited, and was attentive. Ugh. I'm in a food coma now. ‍ I'm definitely a fan of this place, they have such a huge menu, I'll be back to try more!!! read more

So good! Had the enchiladas--the chicken was breast meat that was juicy and lovingly seasoned. I don't know if they make their tortillas fresh but wouldn't be surprised if they did--they had a luscious corn flavor that shone through the perfectly tomatoey, fresh red sauce. Rice and beans were so flavorful without the glut-rut of the typical Tex-Mex cheddar cheese accompaniment. And folks, it was affordable! read more

O M G ! ! ! Being from California and half Mexican & Canadian my cousin Dave told me about this place & they're amazing authentic Mexican breakfast. He said they start service at 6 AM, and that was a winner winner for me. That totally fits my schedule and it was an authentic amazing Mexican breakfast. I had chiliquilles - TO DIE FOR GOOD! My cousin had a unique style breakfast with beans rice in a bowl with all these yummy additions. We both ended up taking half our meals home and ate them the next day for breakfast. If you're looking for a true authentic Mexican food; this is the place to go. I certainly will make a point to have another meal here on my next visit to Medford. And I don't want to forget to mention the waitress in the morning is absolutely amazing. I have not had such great service since EVER! The industry could use a couple tips from her for sure My coffee cup never got low she checked on us repeatedly with a smile, and was superb with kindness! Need to give kudos to the chef for his excellent delivery in his delivery of Mexican cuisine. read more

We had the worst experience there. Walking in, the place smelled terrible, all of us gagged immediately. The server made it very clear that she didn't support "our kind" and told us she didn't believe we should have basic human rights. It was disgusting. We ended up leaving pretty quickly. I highly recommend going elsewhere. There are plenty of places owned by kind people who believe in equality and basic human rights for all, and where the place doesn't smell like mothballs and rotten corpses. read more

I wouldn't have thought to go in but for the fact that my car was being worked on at Chico's and I had an hour to kill. Chico's offered me a ride or a loaner car but I asked them for recommendations for a good breakfast place and they said Memo's was just about a block away and was good so I just walked over. The atmosphere was through-back vintage and they serve the classic American fare plus Mexican cuisine-influenced dishes such as their Fajita or Chile Rellano (sp?) Omlettes. The waitress is very friendly. The coffee was a little weak but free-flowing so you will eventually get the caffeine that you need. The music is an eclectic mix of vintage tunes; very pleasant. I will return again. I think my wife would like this place. read more
