The young woman behind the counter was extraordinarily rude. She was the only one working,, so I took that into account, but we stood there for five full minutes before she even looked at us, let alone said hello. When we got our food, I asked for a fork, and she told me it would "be a few minutes". I could literally see the utensils behind the counter from where I was sitting. Businesses have to get a break because of Covid, but this attitude was not stress related. I got the clear feeling she was just used to being this way with customers. I was passing through Medford on a drive to Portland from California. My wife wanted coffee and to use the bathroom and so we swung by here. I was blown away by how good the coffee is as even though the San Francisco Bay Area has a 'pretty good' coffee culture - the premium places are in the city and so in some of the 'burbs' it's a Starbucks or swill coffee world. I normally just get normal brewed and the coffee here was excellent. I am absolutely envious of the Oregon coffee scene as a whole - even with some good Bay Area independents like Blue Bottle, Four Barrell, Sightglass, Red Giant Coffee, Cyclismo Cafe.... etc, I am just blown away by the much better consistency and taste of places in Portland and overall, Oregon. Passing through Sherwood/Tualatin south of Portland I was also blown away by a local place. Definitely stop here for a cup on your next road trip! read more

I am in town for the weekend and wanted a place that had good coffee and breakfast items for on the go that wasn't Starbucks. I found Oregon Mountain coffee just up the road from my Grandpa's. The location is nice, and the ambiance in the space is very quaint and makes you want to pull up a chair and stay a bit. The staff was extremely polite and I really appreciated he walked each drink out to the customer wherever they were instead of shouting out names. It was a nice personal touch. While I was waiting, I noticed the coolest little drip cold brew set up. A big container of ice melts and slowly goes down a spiral over some grounds. It was insanely delicious. I got the Teddy, which is cold brew, milk, vanilla, and maple. I also loved seeing that they roast their coffee in the back. What a find! I also recommend the spinach mushroom wrap, it was awesome! read more

I ordered coffee beans to be delivered to me, but I never received anything. I emailed them twice and no reply. I placed an order back in June. After a less than stellar experience at a hotel in Medford, my road trip companions and I were eager to get a good cup of coffee and some pastries before we hit the road. I had an Avalanche (White Chocolate and Caramel mocha) and my friends had White Chocolate Mocha's. And after one sip we were just about ready to pack up and move to Medford from L.A JUST so we could have that coffee every day. I know the other guy has a completely opposite experience than I had, but I'm a local and have had my fair share of terrible sit down coffee shop experiences and Oregon Mountain Coffee is the best in town! I attend OMCC pretty much on a weekly basis and order their Americano black... Maybe it's because I drink my espresso black I can tell a good coffee from a bad one and OMCC has a great coffee.. They roast their own coffee, after talking to the owner I learned that he actually visits the places he purchases the coffee from (Columbia, etc.) to test the coffee himself. The prices are great, the environment is relaxing and inviting... You can find a place to sit, jump on the wifi and let time pass by. Give it a shot! You'll be happy you did! read more
